Cool.. it's recommended to bring your big 3 systems to check the fit. Packa carry differently once you load them, but the good thing about buying at REI is you get a year to use it and return it if it doesn't work for you.. the big 3 systems is 1 sleep system 2 shelter 3 cooking system
Yeah she made them load her exact Weight that she carries in the store. These hiking series videos were probably about 6 weeks behind from all of the review videos so she’s been out testing the pack she got here and comparing it against the Outdoor vitals ultralight.
REI is a great place to go for hiking and camping gear. Their staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Great video... now your all set to make more hiking videos for us to watch. 🙂

Don't ever trust the rain fly.. use a trash bag to as a liner it's more waterproof than the fly
Everything in her pack is in a separate dry bag so she could technically throw it in the creek lol!
While my daughter in law is very beautiful, the big tall light green pack made me think of a mama orangutan with a baby her back!

They are planning 7-10 day hikes so they’ll need the space for the AT and the Art Leob trail
