Who needs college when The Futur is now? Immense knowledge, interaction, and experience gained from these videos.

The face with the animal composites could have been inspired from am artist from the 14th/15th century. I saw a painting from that era using elements of vegetables to make a face.
This is my new university now
Welcome to the Futur
ordinary university is waste of money and waste of time.
Agreed.
Same! :D

Your kid is so lucky to have you as a dad
I feel that I'm so lucky to have him
Seriously. Having the source to be able to learn so much from your parent and I think that's such a gold to have.
"When we become an observer of the world, the world becomes our school."
and everyone becomes our teacher
hahaha this is my biggest takeaway as well
Yesterday, I was drawn in by the video, "Come up with better ideas," and I have not left this channel. How lucky are we to have access to such quality content for free!
Thank you and Welcome to the Futur
i love this type of immersive webinars, its not one sided
The video broken into sections is something I didn't know I needed but I so badly needed. Now I can refer to this like chapters from a book! Yuss!
so true! its the best!

"Output more important than input.."
This is so relevant... This is where I'm going wrong...
Very captivating session... Thank you..
Ever since I found @thefutur I've been so hooked to the Channel. You guys are the best bank of VALUE
short story:
1. youtube, how to create a logo?
2. found the video about creating a brand (hamilton's)
3. oh that's the guy who redid his work station is it? (matthew encina)
4. ok finished the series, liked it, longing for more videos, moar!
5. finally checked the channel behind the show.
6. wow, I'm just here mining free gold nuggets of wisdom!
thank you for great content!
I'm considering social media comments as another way to articulate our ideas. This video just woke me up. Thanks for it.
This is something I already knew but didn't know how to word it. People say I'm wasting time because I'm always on my PC and RUclips, but I probably know how to do a wider variety of things than most people. I really want to share this, so I'll probably show it to my mom and little sister, as my family is home-schooled.
“Illusion of knowledge”
After watching many of your videos in the past few weeks. I watched a lot.
I feel like I got to this “Illusion of knowledge”
I got addicted to watching you listening and super focused that I wanted more and more and more to the point that I can’t stop ✋
Few weeks past and I’m still the same. All that information I consumed entered my brain 🧠 and …. I loved them understand them completely felt them but …. I didn’t take actions I guess. Not enough. I keep coming back every day to watch more.
I’m reflecting in my head but not implementing in my day.
I’m sharing them tho.
Today for example I talked with my 2 sisters for 3 hours about you Chris and how much informations I learned from your RUclips videos in the past few days. They loved what I said about you and ask me to send the links. Same goes to a friend of mine few days ago. Shared with him some info, he loved them and wanted to know more.
Still, I feel so guilty from inside that I’m not implementing. I’m not leveling up.
I keep come back to watch more.
You're kids are so lucky to have a dad like you! I hope to be the type of dad you're when I have kids. I want to encourage them to follow there passions and feal confident to tackle unknown territory.
I’m the lucky one.
This channel is gold in the youtube landscape. Thank you. God bless.
Thank you
This session took my mind on a blazing ride, and also inspired me to create a few surreal contents. One thing The Futur is repeatedly telling me to do is to SHARE and do it in a way that it might teach other people. But my procrastinating introverted brain has hitherto found no cure to take me there.
I'm excited to see where you go on your journey Nusrat.
Boi DO I relate @nusrat
I love the part where you said: "if we learn to observe the world, the world becomes our school". Also how you explain the power of articulating what we know. I'm trying to articulate my knowledge through RUclips and IG carousels (also thanks to your tips), hopefully with enough practice i get better
Wow this was amazing... Chris captures so many incomplete thoughts I was having difficulty understanding and hands it in such a clear delivery wow!! Especially the Intellectual Self Gratification thing...
reading books can be it's own form of addiction and an avoidance of doing something. make sure to apply what you learn to cement it.
@@thefutur omg, you are my a big motivation.
“The tools you use influence the marks that you can make” 💯🙌🏽
Pausing the video to comment. Your answer to the question of how many resources should we go through before reaching our goal of objective truth was fabulous.
I actually clapped.
Stumbled on this video and I'm grateful that I did!!!
Thanks. Welcome to the Futur
This video doesn't only apply to artists! Thankyou!
I woke up today thinking i haven’t watched some some Futur content in a few weeks. And I watch this. Completely mindblown this is such a great whiteboard session and is soooo helpful for auto learning
Wow, thank you!
Toffler- Best quote for contemporary education.
One thing I took from this is school give us a lot of information and tell us what to learn, but they never, or barely, tell us how to learn them.
"In articulation we gain clarity" was so subtle but stuck to me so much -- well said 😌
Everybody out there who's trying to learn something gotta watch this! this is brilliant!
Thanks
Chris Do is far better than all my lecturers here in Uganda Africa
Thank you
I love the point about what consumption and learning was most useful to me and how I might apply it. So often we have so much consumption and not actually thinking about WHY. Thanks Mr. Do!
Glad it was helpful!
First time I heard Chris share his detailed knowledge about a certain design subject - it was beautiful to listen to how Chris broke down the coloring of the bladerunner scene.
Glad you made it that far.
Woooo people charge money for this, The Futur really knows how to hook audience on their platform, great work... thanks!!!
I'm like cashing out free money out of an ATM machine. The things you guys teach are so invaluable. Truly the BEST! Thanks TheFutur. Much love from the Philippines.
Thank you
I love what you are doing for our industry! Thank you Chris!
Thank you 🙏
@@thefutur you are so welcome. I have a brand callef Instagraphics with a very similar goal to teach fellow creatives how to thrive in our industry. I found your channel a year ago while doing research your stuff is super high quality
This is super helpful in retrospection of current practices, and re-imagine and adopt(if needed) the new paths of learning.
Awesome work @The Futur
please keep doing whiteboard sessions.
The part Chris was helping to identify the 5 ingredients for the movie screenshot was so informative! Love this, I'm learning a lot. Thanks!
appreciate the feedback about that part. now I know to include more of this.
Always love to listen to you, Chris.
i can't take in that this whole session is free, Truly grateful for this content.
Thank you
@@thefutur no, it's thanks to you guys, the whole design community will forever be indebted to thefutur team.
In my country there are no design institutions who teach at this level, and on top of it this being free it's just a miracle,
I have gained ton of applicable design knowledge that gave me confidence in what I do and what aspire to do, all of that online.
this might sound like an overreaction but it's true. ❤️
the production quality on this one is through the roof!
🙌🏽
it's really good to have people like you to be an educator and mentor for young people to follow so they know how to learn on their own ways. keep doing it, Chris , you are awesome and i feel good to see what you are doing for the people. thumbs up for you!!!
Love how natural and fun you make the whole presentations
Wow. Amazing and helpful. Thank you putting this up.
This was a great class. I learned so much. The 5 Ingredients was really helpful and I will be using this in my business and life. I love the quality of your training too. It feels like I'm in business school!! Great job!
Thank you Holly.
I gotta admit these 1 hour lessons are worth 3 sessions of a class in my course easy. And to give you reference my college course is BSBA Major in Marketing Management coming into my 4th year. Some of this videos are even mind-changing.
Thank you for the feedback
why cant they teach us like this in school?
you are breathtaking
if they did, we'd be out of a job.
@@thefutur lol
I am wondering if it's not schools that will get out of job with channels like this one 😊
Everything you say, Chris, brings so much clarity, thank you
Thank you for all the efforts put on producing and sharing this.
It has helped me to have a practical way of implementing some of the ideas I had and helped me to see things with a different attitude.
I needed this SO SO MUCH....I LOVE to learn new things, this is who I am. So, I always start learning, I take in as much as I can, but I never reflected upon it, or shared it and that's I always felt that something was missing. I am learning all these things but I it feels like I am learning NOTHING. From now on, I will definitely articulate what I learn! EVERYONE GET READY, I AM COMING!!! :)
Wonderful!
Can't wait to see you make your dreams come true :)
I am not even a designer, I teach hairdressing and your ideas and knowledge is mind bending for me! thank you for inspiring me , inspire others ! love love love !

Great insight as always! I've been severely lacking in the implementation phase, but having this understanding of learning is very reassuring.
Awesome.....THANKS FOR THE WISDOM.

Thank you so much!
These videos are great!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Wow. Just saw this now. Not only will this help in my appreciation of art and design, it was also SUPER concise in what we'd want to take away in learning something. Thank you.
I'm not a designer. But this Whiteboard sessions are the reason I fell in love with the futur!
Omg, you are pretty awesome doing all of this for us creatives! I've been a professional photographer for a decade and you have helped me 'jog' my mind, in a way, where I'd literally had a mind blown moment. Dude, I swear, my motivation jumped to 200% percent and went to work immediately! You lite a nice flame under our butts.
I just love your process and breaking things into parts and observation , it's so phenomenal 💯
Thank you Chris for all your content. I'm learning so much from you everyday and rethinking so many different aspects of my life. You are my inspiration. Thank you!
The Futur has inspired me for years from improving my designs, charging properly, go beyond just sales and now starting my podcast. Great content as always.
This video gave me starting points to run with my ideas by observing systems that work, adapting them, and applying their "5 Ingredients" to my situation. I'm mind-blown. Thank you.
so love this format and layout for these sessions! ✊🏽
Thank You! for making it clear to us self learners. I'm familiar about this concept but it's just still too abstract in my head. By you describing it all clearly, it's re-assuring that i'm on the right path. I've never really liked studying in school it's just doesn't feel the right way for me and maybe for a lot of creative people.
This channel is a repository for not just creative knowledge but general knowledge on whole
This was amazing. Little drops of knowledge everywhere.
You made me look at art differently, and in a much more practical way. THANK YOU! 🙏
"When you become an observer of the world, the world becomes your school" love it
I love your content and how easily digestible it is. I especially love when you brought in the examples for your sons artwork because it provided a different type of visual example to the convo other than just the white board. I also love how you brought it all together in the end. That really gave me the light bulb moment on how you applied all 5 ingredients to even teach something new to someone as young as a 14 year old. Awesome work you’re amazing !
Glad to hear 👂
This is crazy value add content! Thank you so much for this! Subscribed and shared!👍
The feelings that i had when i watch and think this types of topics is so great, thanks for this content, makes me grow like a person
Production quality is absolutely incredible as always. Fantastic job, team.
Much appreciated!
yep, in terms of articulation, I also noted that speaking and discussing things with others brings in more ideas, that you could not have thought of. That's not because others bring in (which is also true), but sometimes just because you started speaking and thoughts kinda start running and then, boom, a whole new level.
Thanks you for this class, I am aiming to become a freelancer Graphic Designer and this is just what I needed to hear. You really made me think about how my thought process and how it all works inside my head, about how much information I consume per day and how much I should observe (and now that I think about it observe myself)
Thank you Chris! This expands my vocabulary of observations. It takes my learning to a whole new level. Keep more of this teaching coming!
Thank you Bonnie.
I wish we had a president as informative as chris do
Boom! Another freaking Gem of knowledge. Thank you!
Wisdom = experience + reflection. Without an experience, we can't reflect. So we need to try ideas out (trial + error) and when we do it we need to ask ourselves, what did i learn? what can i avoid? how did i grow? what can i do better? Try everything that interests you to the best of your ability and become a master of reflection to keep improving. Each experience helps you grow and lessens fear.
When you learn something, reflect back on it before doing anything else.
The new whiteboard session is awesome! My takeaway was learning how to diagnose the five ingredients that make an art piece
Your insights into 21st century learning fit precisely with the fifty-or-so century connevtion between learning, liberty, and leadership that I found in Faulkner University's PhD in Great Books. Kudos on promoting these next level learning hacks and applying them for today. A great quote that guides my work with prison education is Bacon's "reading maketh a full man, conference a ready man, and writing and exact man." The better quality information learners take in, the more meaningful and satisfying conversations with others who've taken in the information will be ... and the intellectual property creation that shares with the world what's they've realized. You're doing good work, Chris. Keep it up and trust good follows good. Blessings -Jeff
Hi Chris greetings from Indonesia. Thanks always for providing us high quality contents.
This session is so useful for many aspects of life. Now I try to rewire my thinking pattern so that will help me to reach goals effectively while helping other people hopefully.

I am a self learner even though I have a degree in engineering. I am now doing social media engagement, building websites, & doing cybersecurity work for my clients. I have built my skills past my engineering career & can now serve my clients with the services they need. I will take on any new challenging project, learn it, then deliver the results. I love to now teach others what I have learned.
Chris - What I've just watched has totally changed the way I used to observe thing, getting into a layer beneath, Deeper, that's the key. I am going to apply this learning to a lot of things I see now. Thank you so much, count me one in your billion lives vision.
Excellent!
Come on!!! is this for real.. you are sharing all the cool info in a very very effective way. You just created a vibe so that i watch the whole video and not having track of my time. the way you put it in there is amazing!!
Love this. Thank you
Wisdom = Experience + Reflection
Experience = Trial + Error
Reflection = Asking yourself
According to the equation, wisdom is the manifestation of your self-learning and self-implementing.
Great content wait... Gold content by the way. Your loyal fan from Philippines.
great summary. I just tweeted parts of your comment. Reflective activity is an
intentional endeavor to discover specific connections between something we do and the
consequences which result. Reflection provides the methodology that will translate experiences into cognitive and effective knowledge.
