One of the BEST Zoos in the world - Singapore Zoo

- Singapore Zoo is widely regarded as one of the best zoos in the world. What is it like post pandemic?
We spend a day exploring the zoo and all the amazing animals. We also add on a little extra experience at the end, the River Safari. This part of the zoo comes at an extra cost but you see some incredible animals as well as enjoying a short river cruise!
All in all, Singapore Zoo is incredible and very diverse. It is well worth a day visit, for young and old.

We are Matt and Ash or more commonly known as A Couple Of Kiwis.
We are New Zealanders (kiwis) living in Singapore and traveling around the world.
This channel is all about us experiencing the unique way of life, living in Singapore. From the delicious food, parks and rainforests, the awesome neighbourhoods like Chinatown and Arab Street and anything else we can find.

We use the Sony Alpha a6600 Mirrorless Digital Camera for the majority of our videos. We also use the Gopro hero 8 camera for our water based filming and action footage.
The drone we use is the DJI Mavic Air which we highly recommend if you are wanting a small easy to use drone.

Thanks for sharing. I wish I could go see the white tiger but I got close thanks to you guys. Sadly the last white tiger ever seen in the wild was shot in 1958. Today there is a large number of white tigers in captivity. There are 200 but none live long enough in the wild to pass on their gens.

Guess what! We haven't even seen a kiwi in the wild before. They are very hard to find being nocturnal 😊

There is another boat ride in the river safari that lets you go around the waters near the zoo and look at giraffe faeces

The polar bear passed away a few years ago so they’re making a place to view the pictures of Inuka
O really! Thats why it was closed. Thats so sad.
It must have cost a lot to keep that enclosure cold enough, Singapore isnt exactly polar bear friendly climate haha
@@ACoupleOfKiwis Yup. Fun fact Inuka was actually born in Singapore (lived from 1990 to 2018). Probably the only polar bear born in the tropics.

@@ACoupleOfKiwis Yeah definitely the only one born in the tropics so far. Proved it could be done but that it wasnt the greatest idea. They couldnt really do much for conservation. They can do more on ecology and climate/habitat issues with the smaller arctic species they now have there
