Two part question. I'm a big fan of Boyajian Citrus oils, they have a baking set of orange/lemon/lime oils and I'm never without them in my house. I'm wondering if it would change the consistency of the frosting, also , I make Pina Colada cupcakes all the time and looking for a less sweet icing. I use rum flavoring or sometimes real rum, could that be used also? Thank you.
Ok so i made this, I then separated it into 3 lots. 1 flavoured lemon, 1 cherry ripe and one aero. I melted and put in a 40g bar of aero (same as the cherry ripe) into a 1/3 lot and it was very mild (I ended up added peppermint flavouring) so I’d be very surprised if you can taste it at all if you added it into the full amount. I used this for macaroons, it’s not my favourite. I might try ganache next time.

i would never leave any buttercream out for hours that contains dairy. THAT is a food safety issue waiting to go horribly wrong! Please exercise caution when leaving food out of the refrigerator for long periods of time.

I have condensed milk of the brand carnation but that milk isn't very dense.... Its quite runny
If it's "sweetened" condensed milk you can use it :-)
