Thanks for correction. What if I asked you what car(s) you drive now and which you drove in the past and liked? Just trying to pinpoint few brands/models in the used market that have a good compromise in reliability/comfort/mpg etc?
Yep. Thank you for mentioning that. Here are the tools used. Parts & Tools Used: 1. 3/8-Inch-Drive Extendable Ratchet Handle: amzn.to/3iSo7mI 2. Fluid Pump: amzn.to/3XrkCTb
This Acura at the time I believe had close to 40,45-50k on it before we changed the fluid. The only MDX I was aware that had transmission issues was the first generation from 2000-2006.
three years ago i buy the 2017 mdx CPO from dealer with 28400k miles,i move my mdx after 10 days then i feel my mdx from first gear to 2nd gear and 3rd gear sifting not smooth,i took my car to the dealer, they said this is normal, right now 43k but its still same, but i am not changed transmission fluid yet
Thanks a million for your time
Thank you!

Nice clear videos. Could you list all the Acura part numbers for anything you had to purchase? Washers, plugs, fluids etc.
Fill Bolt Washer (20mm) - 94109-20000
Drain Bolt Washer (18mm) - 90471-PX4-000
Rear Differential Fluid (3Qts) - 90471-PX4-000
thanks!

Thank you !!
You're welcome!
I have a 2023 MDX and need to change rear differential fluid. I know you can use the same plugs, but is it a must to get new washers?
I’m sure you can get away without not doing it but we decided to replace them!
It could leak if you use the same washer.
How much fluid did you end up using?
Almost 3qts. Just know that when you pump the fluid it will come out of the fill hole when it’s full.
Part number for fluid is same as washer part number.
Apologies, 08200-9007
How many miles on it? Does the Acura have transmission issues from 2017 to 2022?

Hi! I am trying to change mine, ACURA MDX 2018 SH-AWD, the service manual says 1.92 qt so ai only bought 2 bottles, am I wrong?
I would buy 2 more and measure what comes out and match that. 2 qts seems low.
Guess you can’t trust the manual anymore.
Fluid was still good
This was a used vehicle from Carmax and had no idea of the maintenance history. We have peace of mind knowing all the fluids are changed!
That's $145 dollars in the Acura stealership.
With fluids and washers you’ll end up paying somewhere around 50-60 bucks if you pick up parts from the dealer. You can get the fluid cheaper online
