Phenomenal video, great job thank you for posting this
Thanks! Glad it was helpful!
Does it compatible with the cars park sensor ?
arent there two pressure switches? I keep seeing parta sold with lower and higher bar specs and don’t know which one I need.
Very good video.
Thank you! Cheers!
Super helpful, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Did this fix your issue?
It did and still no issues luckily. It’s pretty common for these to fail as oil makes its way in to the connector.
@@MobileCarMechanicawesome my sensor has oil on the outside of it but this engine only has 2100 miles on it.
Was this engine rebuilt?
I’ve had this installed for about a year and a half. And it just recently started freezing up at the Dasaita screen, it just sits there for about 10 min then reboots. After about 3 reboots it just shuts off completely. I disconnected the battery and tried a factory reset and still no change. Any other suggestions to get this thing working again? I tried accessing their website but it never loads are the still in business?
Best and easiest video of this repair on RUclips
Glad it helped you!
Agree complete in less than 45 min! Thank you!
Good job men !
Thank You, Glad our video was helpful!
Supposed to do both sides before putting on the last two pads
Thanks for the tip!
Thank you for the video! I’ll change the blower motor in my Pilot this weekend.
You’re welcome, good luck with the install!
How many quarts came out and did you put that exact amount back in? Thanks anybody
4 Quarts came out and we put 4 quarts back in
Do these have high and low in the bulb?
The High beam is a separate bulb, Watch how to replace the high beam here. ruclips.net/video/qpbafVIyQAI/видео.html
Also be aware that the edges of the filter are inside the "lips" of the filter holder (look from the bottom). If it is not place correctly their is going to be a gap between the holder and the filter.
Do i need to use that special tool to compress the brake or can i use something like a wrench
You will most likely cause some sort of damage using something else.
You bought the catalytic converter in Amazon did it came out good
If you have the right turn signal LaneWatch on your Honda Accord and can't get it to work there is a separate attachment. It will be an extra set of cables with labels like "GND" and "Front Camera." The "Front Camera" cable should be yellow and you will want to plug that cable into "BSM VIN." The extra cables will connect into the Dasaita head unit and should plug into the second from lower left pins (If you're looking at the tablet from the front screen." After plugging "Front Camera" and "BSM VIN" together, your LaneWatch right turn signal camera should work. Cheers.
Thank you for sharing as we don't have a lanewatch camera and couldn't answer this question. Cheers!

Can you clean the throttle body next ? Thanks for sharing DIY videos 🫡
Will Do, Thanks for the suggestion. Glad our videos are helpful. Cheers!
Dang, what a terrible design. This is gonna suck
It’s the worst I’ve seen so far. It sucked and I don’t blame the previous owner for never changing it.
Oh nah I’m seeing all these problems and I’m not interested anymore. I just want a simple CarPlay solution . Any ideas??
There are other brands like seicane and generic versions I’m sure. Not sure if it will be any better. We’ve had the unit I believe for at least a year and haven’t had any issues other than a TFT box go out which dasaita sent a replacement free of charge.
@ is the audio delay fixed? That’s my biggest concern.
Unfortunately no, it’s a characteristic of wireless CarPlay. Doing some research it appears it happens to factory radios in other makes. It’s because CarPlay is going through wifi and not Bluetooth. It streams the interface as a compressed video which is what causes the delay. So basically any unit that you go with is going to do the same thing. Unfortunately wired is the only way to not have the delay and this unit doesn’t support wired CarPlay for some reason. It only can be wired with Android auto unfortunately.
@ okay that makes sense then. I thought it was a lot worse than what it actually is. My stock radio audio is delayed when I watch RUclips in my car on Bluetooth. So that’s completely fine. Thank you for the help
No worries, it sucks for watching videos but the Bluetooth doesn’t lag on this unit which is nice. If you really want a lag free experience on any Android based unit, you can just flip on your hotspot and use the RUclips app on the unit itself.
Factory says only 1\2 a quart of gear lube
Worst purchase ever my CarPlay don’t work no more and it stops the music when I put the car in reverse
How long have you had the head unit? I’d recommend trying a factory reset to see if that changes anything.
47 ft lbs is 8 ugga duggas, 34 is 6 and 7 is like half an ugga dugga
Purchased a 2017 Accord with a bad rear camera. $39 from eBay’s for the new camera and 20 min to replace. Excellent video with clear guidance. Dealer here in Bellevue WA wanted $950+tax to replace. Highway robbery. For the corner clips, I just removed the 4 nuts each for the light modules, unplugged the lights, and pulled them out with the trim piece. Thanks for posting!
Glad the video helped. Thanks for the support.
Thank you. Great instructions. All went to plan. The most difficult bit is getting the fascia out. I ended up using a crow bar with tape over it and breaking one of the clips. But I glued it back.
Glad it helped!
Why do t you remove the DIY app advertisement so we can see everything?
Yeah I’m going to the dealership 😂
It’s a pain when it’s stuck in there but it’s not terribly difficult
mine bricked in 6 months
Did it stop powering on or glitching?
@@MobileCarMechanic i tried to factory reset it when it stopped playing music now its stuck on the dasaita logo screen at all times. Did the pinhole reset, popped by negative cable off the car still nothing.
Im on their site looking for the firmware download now
Put your Radio in recovery mode via this video ruclips.net/video/JWm2t3TyO1A/видео.html then try to do a factory reset. You may need to plug in a keyboard into one of the usb ports to scroll through the settings. or see if this method works for navigating. ruclips.net/video/AqL6YWG0YO4/видео.html
@@MobileCarMechanic I appreciate it a great deal, sadly the pinhole reset does nothing, ill just have to figure out something else!
What is Quick about this?
The Jack
I opened my transfer case by accident trying to do a transmission oil change
Hope the video helps you refill the transfer case fluid.
Does the top of the screen cover the other screen??
Depends how you’re sitting. For me it covers about half a inch from my view.
@ and the top screen just functions like normal???
It's not full functionality. Just time, Gas mileage, Range, and backup camera.
@ okay that’s perfectly fine with me. One last thing. Does it boot in apple car play? Or how does that work? I have a iPhone and I love how apples CarPlay looks
Once you have CarPlay setup it will automatically connect to your phone and launch the CarPlay interface
Thank you, I did it myself and save money
Glad the video helped!
Does this apply to a 2011 Camry hybrid?
It appears the process is the same as this generation Camry.
Thank you
The most helpful video I’ve watched for this issue, great job Dude .
Appreciate it, glad it helped!
Did you lift up the car?
We did not as we had plenty of clearance under the vehicle.
Excellent
Thanks, appreciate it!
Good job
Appreciate it!
i see backup camera is not really accurate like original image seems reversed
Yes I agree.
For those who don’t really care n r just putting a shitty 20$ filter in all u gotta do is take the plastic cover off that covers the hole for the filter (clips on at the bottom and top) You then pop those clips out that are holding the wire in place ( I only had to take 2 out for enough slack) with the glove box fully down and holding the wire as high up as possible you shove tht filter in there focusing on the bottom first as the metal brace is in the way then the top (the filter will crinkle and bend but will spring back into normal form once it’s fully in the housing). Took me 5 mins all I needed was a flashlight, blow gun and a small flat head screwdriver for the clips.
I don't know too much about cars and I just recently got a 2000 civic should I just do your way. is there really a difference?
Just replaced mine in a hour or so! You made it so easy to follow. Thank you!
Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad the video helped!
Lol My 92 civic eg. doesn't has cabin filter ?? !
5th gen civics didn’t get them, if you really want one installed you’d need to retrofit components from a 6th gen. US didn’t get the ability to install a cabin air filter till 99-00 rest of the world got it from 96-00
Following this installation steps, I install the scicane but the reverse camera was only showing on the dashboard board not from the scicane screen, how can i make it show on both screen. Secondly after installing, if i navigate to the right, it will show the reverse camera on the scicane screen showing the back and radio or if am on call will stop working until i remove back to drive. What can i do?
Sounds like you connected the backup camera to the lane watch connection. You may need to see if there is a connection for the back up camera on the back of the radio. The wire may be paved as back up cam or reverse.
I was going to buy it, then I found it was $120. Then I saw a decent one with a 4.9 rating on Amazon with 120 W and 45 LPM, and it cost $62, so I bought two of them. It's slightly weaker. The Lasfit tk1 is 135 W and 50 LPM, but the cheaper ones are still decent, tho, and both of them will inflate 2 tires in under 5 minutes for $124.They have better batteries and portable too! The point is it's too expensive, tbf I wished it was $85-$100 that would've been reasonable price.
Does the side mirror camera work or since the CarPlay is installed it won’t show?
It has the ability to use the side mirror camera but i believe if they didnt include a module with your radio you may need to reach out to dasaita. This accord does not have the side camera.
Do you happen to know the part number for the the flat mount? I’m chasing that part 😢😢
The part number is 1K0121093BH and here is a link to the part www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/auxiliary-pump-bracket/1k0121093bh/
@@MobileCarMechanic man thank you so much much, you happen to know the screws?
No worries! I believe this is the bolt based of part number 4 on this diagram N10524202 parts.vw.com/a/Volkswagen_2010_GTI-20L-MT-Base-Hatchback/_52014_5970221/WATER-PUMP/9281085.html?assemblySearchGuid=1F48FFF2-24F4-404B-B110-B6F5AAC1A42E
@@MobileCarMechanic Thank you so much man, this is really a game changerrrr
Very helpfull, thanks ✌️
You're welcome!
My indicator is red, and sometimes the oil indicator will turn off and on. Once I reset the maintenance indicator, will that stop the oil indicator from flashing?
This will not reset the oil indicator. The oil indicator indicates the oil pressure is low which can be a mechanical issue such as an oil pump or most commonly low oil. Check your oil level.
@ just recently did an oil change and before that I would check the oil level and all good. So Im guessing it might be oil pump. Is there an oil sensor by any chance? Could that be it? Car has been running excellent no issues
I would check again if you havent, Yes there is an oil pressure sensor/switch on the back of the engine on top of the oil filter. Should look like this, it will be the green sensor. honda-tech.com/forums/attachments/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/249824d1325857950-what-these-two-holes-d16-block-d16_block.jpg
