Oh man that wing mechanism is a real cancer. Even with this solid tutorial I couldn’t manage it. Curse you Hondaaaa~!

Definitely a weird design, I think most use a hook and loop to attach.

I used the cheap orange hook tool from Harbor Freight (that comes in a set of four tools for, like, $1.99) to depress the "wing" on the side closest to the car, pulled and rotated the clip so it went enough through the hole to keep that wing depressed, then did the same with the side farthest from the car (which was much easier to access). Popped right out. Took me a while before I realized I needed a hook though.

    Hi I have a question, I'm
Missing the little piece on the right side of the fuel cap like a little black piece coming out, I wanted to know what piece is that so I can replace it?

If it’s the black piece on the right that is sticking out that is for keeping the gas cap door closed until you release it using the handle in the car. Does your gas cap door stay open?

Yes, without that piece, my gas cap stays open. I wanted to know the part number or what it's called so I can replace it.

It’s part of the fuel cable assembly. If you have a sedan it’s this part number 74880-T2F-A01
