The double date at the fair happens in either Bride or Burglar or Rules of Engagement. I found those two volumes more entertaining than the rest. I laughed a few times while reading those and those are the only two I ultimately ended up buying from the entire run. After this I treated myself to a GOOD Batman story and started reading The Court of Owls. I have to say that the whole Thomas Wayne Batman thing was a real turn off for me. When I realized that was going to be a thing, I stopped reading altogether. That's not what I want from a Batman story.
I could have swore I replied to this, yeah I thought issue #1 was going to be out in January, then some delays or possibly not happening, but I guess it still is, but going to be more like Elseworlds
I already kinda knew his run is a waste of time since I tried reading a bit of it on the DC infinite app, but figured hey maybe there might be at least some good. Glad you answered my question with this video
Still got to be read before advancing to Tynion’s run. Shouldn’t be skipped. And this is after all of Post-Crisis and New 52 have been read… though a lot of newer read just jump right in to this or New 52 first because they want to, no starting with Post-Crisis
Well also Tynion is the main title, so you’ll have to get to it eventually. I’m guessing you skipped most of Post-Crisis, or even most of New 52 to get to this point?
@@BloodGuyReviews I know he's in the main title and I've read all of 52 along with a bit of post crisis. It's the Tom King bit that get so hard to get through
I wouldn’t say I agree with you, because I didn’t know that was your opinion on it. You agree with me haha. What do you mean you always have your ‘notis’ on?
So do I. That’s why I say it’s my least favorite run. I like how you put ‘personally’ and then ‘in my opinion’, like saying the same thing at both ends of one sentence
I would never say ‘meh’, only people on the internet who act like they’re not impressed by anything while also trying to sound like a starving intellectual say that. I’ll say ‘not good’

I liked jokes and riddles and the button. When riddler carves the question mark into his chest with the scalpel I thought was cool.
It was kinda lame and cringy 😂
@@BloodGuyReviews you dare me to carve a question mark on my check with a scalpel?
No I don’t. What purpose would that serve? Still lame and a poorly written event
@@BloodGuyReviews I was just kidding I really liked that part sorry got carried away
It had potential but it sucked like the rest of the run. Has to have more than just Riddler and Joker and Edgelord chest carving
Tom kings Batman run would be my eternal sunshine of the spotless mind erase request
That would be nice. Would still be in continuity, so it wouldn’t change anything haha
Will he still get to do his Batman/Catwoman miniseries?
Edit: yes, it looks like it.

@@BloodGuyReviews ya I'm really am pushing myself to getting through it all just to read tynion. Cause I do enjoy his previous work for Batman

I would have read all Post-Crisis before starting New 52
Yes! You agree with me Tom Kings run is very messy and very all over the place. 😊😊. I always have my notis on so ya!

Personally I found Tom king Batman run to be a complete mess at least in my opinion

@@BloodGuyReviews i can agree with that and thank you ;)
City of bane might be the worst book I've ever read
It’s one of King’s better books
Reading Tom King's Batman was a waste of a lifetime. One of the worst comics i have ever read in my life.
Took a whole lifetime? Idk if it was the worst STORY I’ve ever read, but it’s the worst monthly title run.
In conclusion it was "meh" and "shit" pretty much

Who is your personal best Author? It seems like you are not impressed with Tom King.
Yeah I don’t like his Batman run. I noticed most people who like it, are new readers that skipped ahead to his run, for whatever reason.
