@@danielstefanovic2604are you sure? That doesn't seem right. Most people have around 70 to 80 kg so 5 relatively fit guys can't go with this car? That doesn't seem eight for such an SUV.
It is really crazy that byd blade batterys so much better performed in non byd cars. This test is the best to see what realy its build good.
Are you considering testing the Ioniq 5N? There are several in the dealers on the South of Norway. I guess it won't be the most efficient EV and the target for that car is not the kind of people looking for economy anyway but i'm interested in what you could find good or bad living with that car. Thank you.

@Björn Nyland Did you look under the car? Ground clearence is only 16cm because of the battery. So it is not that much like the fossil version with 20cm.

@williamtansy9524 In Austrian price list there are mentioned a clearance of minimal 169mm.

A million km 10 year battery warranty 😮
They know most people won't go over 200K so they give a huge warranty even if 2-3-5% of the cars may have battery failure because they have over 500K in 10 years, but that's still really impressive.
@@alexandruilea915 ah makes sense. Our old ICE cars after 15 years only top out at 200k and a bit.
@@alexandruilea915BYD Blade battery should still do 1 million km with ease, it's an LFP battery.

Btw, BYD is going to release Blade batter v2 in August this year, maybe they will fix issues you mentioned
from what i know the kgm agreement is to make the byd batteries in Korea. So maybe, the agreement is only for the first generation of batteries
@@konnosm1 KGM is surely not gonna be the first brand to have Blade v2 in their cars. But maybe the BYD cars themselves will have better charging performance then

this navi looks like tomtom, and (at least when I had one in previous car) it had its own separate settings, not linked to car settings. You can also adjust there what time you want to be displayed in the corner - at arrival or current or both.

Im really interested in this car. Looks like the new duster but is electric. Danish reviewers says it feels very plasticy. Like its enough for them not even to mention their cars when talking about choices.

The most important thing when travelling is first stint (250km) first charging time (~30 min) then second stint (180 km) ..... after this is not important anymore because ..... you know.... after 4 or 5 h is taking 40 min to eat something...after 5 h I have to make a 40 min break even with my fossil

The entry level model (called bronze in the Netherlands), does not have a heatpump. Would it affect cooling of the battery? Or wil the AC be used for battery coolling?

I have heard that one looses much more range in the winter with LFP Blade batteries than with NMC
Not really that much of a difference, the bad part is the charging speed that is going down if the battery is cold.

Yes, CLTC is more unrealistic than WLTP
WLTP is more realistic than CLTC. Even WLTP is kinda overestimating sometimes.

Thanks for this interesting review. Seems the BYD Blade battery system is not modern anymore as these issues are present in all cars with these type of batteries.

Korean is not Chinese. However the battery is BYD Chinese. That is how many car manufacturers will end up. With batteries supplied by BYD, CATL and so on
