I think the Metal Church really picks up around song 3, the first song doesn’t really have a chorus or anything that really grabs me. I really enjoy heavier power metal bands like Iced Earth and Mystic Prophecy, and while I mostly like the vocals on this album, I do find the singer to be a bit all over the place on some songs. I do look forward to seeing where they go with him in the future.

I saw Our Lady Peace open for Bush a couple of weeks ago and immediately went on the hunt for their albums that I'd missed throughout their career (everything after Clumsy, basically). What a great band - certainly glad to rediscover them.

I've already expressed to Brandon what I like and I already know his response. We meet at Yes. 😁 However, I've always been a fish swimming upstream. I can almost predict what he'll what he's going to prefer.
Age is just a number, don't let it effect how you approach life. live life no how you choose no matter the number, no matter the wrinkles, all of it adds character & promotes growth. Be true to yourself regardless of others or their judgement of you. The only opinion that matters when it comes to art whether it be music, cinema, literature or actual art such as one would find in the louvre, is your own. One can be respectful of others opinions & have discussions about said mediums but at the end of the day you should enjoy what you want regardless of what disparaging remarks others may make, they are entitled to their opinions as are you. At the end of the day that is all that they are, opinons, not facts. Enjoy what you like, it doesn't hurt anyone if you take pleasure from something they dont, variety is the spice of life as they. The world would be a much blander, less interesting & poorer place without it. That is just my personal opinion, you can agree or disagree, champion or diminish, it wont impact my choices nor should it. Chrome Dome & Hair Farmer have made some enlightened & valid points, i wasn't expecting them to but i respect their views, if only the world & especially people online, where subjects like thiscan devolve into toxic territory could take note.

Tough days for the most vulnerable ones. My float? Oasis and Liam Gallagher is my float. And punk, whether The Clash, Stoogges, MC5,Minutemen, fIREHOSE, Replaceents, or pre grunge Pixies, Sonic Youth.... That stuff really flioats me. Hugs from Asturias, Northern coat Spain.
What floats my Boat?? Everything I have in my collection. I really think the best 80’s album of all time is Johnny hates Jazz “Turn back the clock” 1988. You put that thing on and shoot will move the you know what out of you. That’s my 1% that I can share.

It’s great that many of us feel that way about age and appearance but I wish more people, especially the younger fans could also feel that way too.
