  • I am recording this on July 1st 2024 in Pennsylvania by this time here the plant is already dried. This spring plant is an ally to the body by supporting the lymphatic system. Cleavers are also known as a diuretic to promote urination and support the kidneys.
You can soak the cleaver in oil for 4 to 6 weeks to use topically on the skin . Cold infusions are also more recommended for this plant, you can soak cleavers in the fridge overnight for 8 to 12 hours.
The cleaver plant has a 4 sided square stem but is not in the mint family but instead the coffee family . Cleaver has small white flowers and tiny hairs along the stem and leaves that give it its sticky quality.
