You might be asking, what does this dress have to do with your OCD recovery? Well, let me tell ya.
So you can see it's not just about the dress. Its about your freedom, its about living your life not guided by OCD. Not guided by compulsion.
Don't let OCD stop you from living a life that you want to live or having things that bring you joy.
So,what does the dress have to do with my OCD recovery? It has everything to do with taking my life back from OCD. I'm not letting OCD make decisions for me. I do not let OCD make my life smaller. Do not let OCD Take the things that I care about away. OCD will not win; I won't let it. I will keep trying my best every day, In this lifelong journey with OCD. I can still live a beautiful, fulfilling life even with the presence of OCD, and so can you. We won't let OCD win. We will keep supporting each other. We will keep advocating. We will keep doing the things that we're doing to take our life back from OCD. We'll do ERP, we'll do therapy, we'll do exposures, we will do the things that we need to do to recover. And maybe that's buying the dress. Maybe it's something else. OCD will not win.
