- Hi all, this is a mod that I have been working on for a long time together with KartMakerBrosU.
My partner released his SMM1 version some time ago, and for this SMM2 version, it was inactive for a long time because my motivation was gone, I was feeling very stressed and life was not going well. But these last few weeks, I decided to go back to modding and finish what I had left in the air.
I've fixed and added themes, imported the music that was left, added more 3D objects, custom sounds, and so on until everything I had in mind was done. I hope this mod, the biggest I've done so far for Super Mario Maker, is to your liking.
Thanks to all of you who helped me with this project, I couldn't have done it alone.

Bugs that I wasn't able to solve (sorry about that, I tried my best to solve them but I couldn't get around it)
- 3D Objects (mainly powerups) don't show up wings or parachutes when applied
- Sky and Snow Edit themes (music) were impossible to import due to the lack of tools for importing custom edit themes since the only one which can make prefetches, can't let
you choose the file version, making these crash.

Mario Maker's NSMBU theme not having 3D items always bugged me. This looks really good.
The items are sprites?? How could've I never noticed

Yoshi he’s a 3D model but it probably was hard to Put a 2D sprite on a model
Enemies and objects are 2D sprites, while Mario and Yoshi, Bowser and Bowser JR are 3D models.
After so many years, it's finally finished, although I don't have a modded switch, I'm really happy you managed to finished this William, huge W

Hi WillyMaker here is one thing that I would love for the next update, and that is that in the castle theme there would be another version but with the Volcano enviorment of world 8!

Looks so good and it gives off nostalgic vibes. Still a few minor things I would change but I also wanna see how recreated NSMBW in SMM2 plays with this texture pack.
Nintendo should make this game style along with powerups like the blue shell and mini mushroom from NSMB ds for Super Mario Maker 3. Also screen wrapping levels. They really need to go all out with the 3rd game if they're gonna stick to just 2D Mario.

SMM2 already has NSMBU in it, but I think it would still be cool if they added the choice to change the tileset/music to NSMBWii or added layer 0 (hidden areas)

Love it! Except the night theme backgrounds. They don’t fit in, and all the other game styles have a simple formula for the night theme backgrounds.
To be fair, the formulaic night backgrounds do get quite repetitive. I respect the opinion, though.

It's not official, obviously, but it's possible to play it through an emulator or through a modified Switch.
