    Hi, I have a growing baby and was desperately in need of rescaling this baby sweater into one that can be worn by a big 18 month to 2 year old boy.
    So without further ado, after a hard and a complicated calculating, i present to you the pattern for the same sweater but for an 18 to 24 month old toddler :
    With a 6.0 mm hook
    With a yarn size 5-6 ( destined for a 5 to 6 mm hook)
    Start with a neckline of 53 ribbing rows.
    When you join, you should have a total of 53 single crochets.
    Place your stitch markers on the 11th SC, on the 18th, on the 37th and the 44th. Just like the video indicates, those are your corners.
    For the rest, just follow the video.
    :')... It was horrible trying over and over again to calculate this but it was worth it.

      So how did you figure out the corners? I need to make even more than 53 rows of single crochet. I need it to go over a 20 or 21 inch head... So confusing When the video says that you can make it for a bigger child, but doesn't ever give you directions on how to do that

    Update about the YO slip stitch for anyone curious;
    I ended up scrapping it and making an entirely separate band just doing SC in BLO for about an equal amount as the SC stitches I had left in the last row. Then I used a blanket stitch to sew the two pieces together. I think it turned out pretty comparable, a little bit different looking but it looks normal on the finished piece. I love this pattern, I just have a lot of trouble with a yarn over slip stitch. And it wasn't worth it for me to be frustrated the entire time so that was my adaptation and it worked out pretty well.

    Hi! Thank you so much for this video. I’m trying out new crochet patterns that are a little more challenging and it helps me a lot to see what to do. Could you elaborate on how to do an increase for the corner stitches? Do you add one stitch for each row when you get to the corner stitch or do you stay at four single crochets at each corner stitch?
    Edit: nevermind. I figured out the corner stitch after rewatching it
