Hi. I am doing the 12-18 month size. You said to have 99 stitches. Clearly, I cannot have 58 HDC's in the middle. Am I correct in counting the first ten as Sc's and count the last sixteen as SC's. This gives me 71 HDC's in the middle. This gives me a total of 97 stitches instead of 99 assuming I don't count the first one and that I started on the second chain from the hook. Help please!
This is the more helpfully if sizes measurements are mentioned with cm or inches... I mean how many cm for length in each size and also width measurement
I remember when I made your booties, they were adorbs, and these pants are a heart warmer. I make your designs and some other designers as well, and people say Keonna you have talent. I say to them no the designers do I only follow the instructions. Thank you. 😢 Thank you so much. Because you and others have helped me. Brought me peace. And helps to transfer love from you to me to others.

I am making this with 2 strands of #3 weight yarn, and it will fit my little guy who wears 2-3t just by following the 6 month pattern/ count shown. I knew it would be bigger, thats what I had wanted. Looks so cute and squishy!
A big thank you Briana for this very didactic tutorial, very well done, very well conceptualized; despite the language barrier, thanks to Google; I understood everything and was able to reproduce several copies of these wonderful and ingenious pants to help poor mothers. Thanks a lot, Briana! I have finished making the first pair of these pants. I bought the pattern at Etsy, but this video made things a lot of easier for me😄
I made your ribbed jumper recently for my 1-year old. He loved it and wears it all the time. I wanted to make some matching bottoms. So I'm trying today! Thanks for the amazing tutorials ❤
Thank you so much. Your instructions are so precise. You made it look easy but for me who is a beginner it was challenging especially the seaming parts. But I finished it and it looks amazing. I will try to make more of your patterns. I appreciate you and what you do. Thanks again.

Hello, I absolutely Love this pattern, I would love to view the romper pattern video also, I couldn't find it, can you please send link for that? Thank in Advance
The pattern on your website says to repeat the first 29(6 months) ending on an odd row but on here it says to end on an even row. Which one is it? Thanks. In the middle of making this now. :) Beautiful pattern by the way!
I just measured the chain against the size i wanted.. and adjusted it accordingly. Like kept the top 16chain and the bottom 10chain SC same but decreased the chains in the middle. Also did total 28rounds on both legs. Turned out perfect. Same size as the readymade new born baby’s pyjama i measured the starting chain against.
@@terrialvers1187 no same hook mentioned in the video. Nothing to guess, i just kept the newborn size pants near me and used it for accurate sizing without having to count stitches..
Hi there! Do you have any idea how many balls of yarn you would use of colour theory for 2-3 years? Thank you so much! I cant wait to start this project :)
I’m a little confused. 😅 the pattern says to end on an odd row, I’m making the smallest which is 25 rows. But in this video you say to end on an even row. Therefore when I’m doing the section between the row according to the pattern, I finish off on the end that has 10 sitches not 16 like the video. (And also the row between the legs after the section of baby pants on the pattern.) Not sure if I’m misinterpreting something wrong or what. Not sure if I explained this correctly.😅 Also to add: you say to end on row 30, but the pattern says 31.
I'm in the same spot. I have finished the pants up to the btl row and now I see this addendum... ****Please note, the beginning of this pattern on the video, it starts with doing the first 10 sc sts in the blo, but after further review, construction should start with 16 sc sts in the blo and follow the remaining. This adjustment also follows the written pattern.**** I'm just going to continue the rows without ending the yarn to finish. As long as I seam the correct way, I don't see where it matters.
@@LadyMissCoppertone The reason there is a difference between the number of stitches at the top, ( this will have a wider band than the cuff on the bottom, thus the need for 16) then you work the number of stitches giver pert size and you then reach the chuffs> ( these are created by the SC stitches) Hope that helps. Of course if you want a wider cuff then add more, just repeat through out the pattern.
Hi I made this recently and wanted to ask if it is possible for this to be more stretchy? Mine is more stiff and not as stretchy. Can you suggest some tips for me to fix this?
Question about written pattern vs. video tutorial: In the video tutorial you are working the 6-9month size ( which is what I am doing). On the video it says to end the first section ( first leg) on row 30 on an even row… then you start the crotch at the waist band . Well on the written pattern on your blog it says to work 29 rows and end on an odd number on the first leg section. Then it had you count up skipped rows from the ankle to the crotch and attach yarn and start working the crotch section . Which is the exact opposite of the video. This is confusing when I am comparing the video and the written pattern, especially if I want to make other sizes . I assume you maybe haven’t updated either the pattern or the video that is why they are different? Can you clarify which one is the most current and correct method/pattern?
Hello! nice pattern! I would like to know what is the gauge, in the written pattern it says the gauge is done in Alpine St. but this stitch is not used in this pattern, is it correct? Thank you.
This is kind of strange instruction in the video because in your free pattern you have different numbers of rows and stiches, and different instruction 🤔 I was a little confused at the begging, but I decided to follow the written pattern and changed a little because I have quite chunky yarn. But anyway cute trousers 😊👍🏼
I am interested in waist width and leg width for ages 3 to 6 months, because I work with thicker yarn and centimeters would help me a lot, thank you, it is very nice and a good explanation
@@lynnepernick2658 I agree, and for $8 I was really disappointed with the pattern, it took a lot of working out to get the trousers to turn out correctly
Hello can you explain the note I’m the description about starting with the 16 sc side. Does that mean that side becomes the waist and the 10 sc side becomes the leg cuffs?
Love this... not sure if the after the turn and chain 1... do i start the 1st stitch in the same back loop chain stitch or is the 1st one after there chain one ? Ty
I bought the written pattern for these but it ends on the opposite side to do the last rows between the legs. I end on row 27 (3mo size) and can't get the last 3 rows between the legs to work out correctly.
I am so glad you said that. I was just going through the comments to see if anyone noticed that. I bought the pattern also and the pattern and the video do not match up. The written pattern says to start with 16 BLO SC, BLO HDC and then 10 BLO SC. So I am confused.
