I love it that whenever you play as killer now the survs start playing guitar hero and then jiggle their heads hoping that you will spare them
TBF this will always work on me. Guitar Hero in my survival horror game will never not be funny.

This has worked for me so many times I'm not even kidding and funny enough it mainly works for me when I'm last alive and purposely let the killer know where I am and I wait until right when I hear their terror radius I bring out the guitar and they just stop and stare then lead me to the hatch lol
When I was going for the adept I tried hiding in a locker but the lich knew, he slow drifted towards me I just slowly got out the locker and started playing and he let me live. By far the funniest way to get an adept so far

Fun fact that not many know about Stake Out. It applies a bonus 1% skill check progression when the perk turns a good skillcheck into a great one. So you can do an extra ~3% done by intentionally hitting a good skillcheck at 6 hyperfocus stacks ;)
Add the Alan wake perk that gives you more skill checks and you’re set

I think it applies an additional 1% if you hit either a great or good skill check when you have the perk equipped
Slight correction:
What you described is how the perk probably should work based on its description, but in reality the 1% progression bonus applies to all great skill checks as long as you have at least 1 stack of Stakeout up. This bonus progression is also multiplied by Hyperfocus, and means you can get up to 5.6% per Great skill check with those two perks alone at 6 Hyperfocus stacks.
Whether intentional or not, that's how it works currently.

Great tip about Bardic Inspiration: the lingering effect remains centered on you after the performance, so teammates who weren't near you during the performance still get the bonus % to skill checks when they're around you. It won't stack if others use the perk, though.

If anyone's curious, none of the times he used Bardic resulted in value - the cast time overshadowed it every time.
Hyperfocus + Stakeout + Toolbox was what we were watching actually do something positive.
So yeah, I guess the perk is broken, but not in a good way.
It works if you double or triple gens
On solo gens its not worth it
You still get value from it for ur teammates/ if you started to do another gen
I also did 2 gens solo within the buff duration (with a toolbox and HF+SO obviously)
You don't need to play the full song for the buff. It gives you the buff instantly you can cancel the animation
@@jwebzpsn You do need to play the full 15 second song for the buff. If you cancel it early for any reason, it immediately falls off.
You can actually see this happen at 13:32 in this video. The buff icon at the bottom immediately falls off after it gets canceled.
Deadline also give you so many skill checks for hyperfocus
