I met Nita and Chuck in Chattanooga, TN this past October. They were awesome. I wrote a letter to Alice and Chuck gave it to him. Chuck pointed at me and waved for me to come to front of the stage bc I was a kid and gave me a few picks during Schools out. Nita talked to me about guitars for about 30 minutes. They were awesome.
Fun nita, her shows are very fun to attend. The maiden girls were funny, pretty, nice, also phenominal musicians. I was on nitas side of the stage, due to I like her style, her natural dance, mobility, also her put your phone down and live for the moment 120-minutes thoughts. She's an awesome genuine girl with massive ideas, many she's already brought to life. I'm sure she has many future goals/thoughts that will sucumb in time. None sub-standard as well.
Chick guitar players have something that guys have lost. While guys are shredding and sweeping to oblivion the girls are playing with feel and skill yet still showing that the can cut it, it's all rock, it's all rock. King Eddie.
Hey Blackstar - I love Nita's playing and realize she has a major gig with Alice Cooper but have you guys ever heard of Chelsea Constable? I know she rips on a lot of acoustic stuff but she shreds as good as her male counterparts.
I've dated girls who just had a thing for guitar players. (I played but nothing compared to this level) Some of these guys were ugly from a straight man's perspective. (Or at least mine) Nita is both drop dead gorgeous and a serious kickass guitarist! I always kinda felt sexist or creepy for not watching for the raw talent but the raw beauty. Let's face it. Her looks make me watch to begin with and then, her....passion and how I can see how much fun she is having PLUS the fact that she is shredding at a huge level.... I don't feel so creepy after all. At least the badass guitarists of the opposite sex I like are usually smoking hot and don't look like they just walked in from a 3 day binge of stuff I probably don't want to know about.

Nita has said in interviews that, when learning to play, she basically skipped the blues and classic rock and went straight to shred. Watch her doing any Hendrix tracks and you’ll see what she excels at and struggled with. That being said, I can play the blues but can’t sweep pick for shit.
