Glenn Buxton never really got his due as a guitar player. And if anybody reading the comments is so inclined.... Check out the first two records, Pretties for You/ Easy Action. The songs may have not been there yet.... But Glenn's playing was innovative beyond belief.... In my humble opinion.
Glens guitar in the Roostertail concert in 1971 from the Glen Buxton website was awesome. I agree with you. Do give a listen to “Puke on a Piece of Pie” a 1971 bootleg album. Same concert.
Good product placement by Blackstar. I like the tone even though im mot an EL34 guy, im a 6L6 kinda guy, but this has me thinking, hmmm. They’re reasonably priced too.
Without the "sex sells" factor, she wouldn't even be on the map. Paper-thin tone with no Rock sensibility. If we're rating female guitar players, then her predecessor Orianthi blows her out of the water with or without the good looks.
She is amazing to see live and fits Alice Cooper so well!

Good player, but this modern saturated sound makes me puke... it's soooooo generic.
