@@utry_daniel438 Quest 2 has almost no screen door effect at all. I run mine with a 2070 Super and get easy 80FPS on iRacing. I tried it with Automobilista 2 and à 3080 and got 90 FPS no problem. As long as you don't try ACC which is horrible for VR, you should be fine.

It's purely for the viewing experience. You are right the halo does not get in the way in VR but when you are watching it back on a screen be it a monitor or phone it blocks the view ahead.
Personally it is a bit clunky. That's because the output of data is 60hz whereas other sims like RF2 and ACC are at 360hz so more data is processed and transferred at a time
@@stuffeyy Also, a lot of people mistake iRacing for having a full spectrum FFB. They only simulate what you would feel in the wheel of a real car, not every detail of everything like ACC and a few others.
@@stuffeyy the immersion feeling for visual is better, triples wouldn't crash either if setup right, as they would see it. But your already anticipating with your entry. You have to do all of that by feel. There's draw backs for all setups. Everyone should race what they like, or can afford. The biggest thing that will help is how a person drives, by approach and positioning
