saw halloween kills in theaters, and as a GHOST fan, i had lots of fun singing the song at the end of the credits while everybody was getting up as i saw “Hunters Moon” in the song credits.
Watched the film in theaters yesterday. Not many ppl were there. Just me and a few others but overall it was 90% empty. People left as the credits rolled, but I stayed for a bit when this song came on. I was NOT expecting it at all. After the song ended, the credits were done. I was the last one left and everything went silent. Prob one of the rarest times I ever actually sat through credits and wished it lasted longer because of the amazing song that played. It got stuck in my head all day I just had to listen to it. Wonderful song👌👌
I sat through the credits too. When this song came on I was already enjoying the beat. It was around 90% empty when I watched it in theaters on Friday.
yoo, listen to Ghost's other content, and the non-movie version of this song. Squar hammer, Dance Macabre, and Mary on a Cross are typically popular. The piano in this song is sooo good, highlighted on the music version
I hope when they play this live they combine the two versions. The length and guitar styling of the other version with the bells and choirs of this version. I love how epic this version is, but it's still missing some things that the other version does better.
I was just thinking that this sounds a LOT like something that would play over the credits in an 80s or early 90s Elm Street or Halloween movie. Something about this just screams 1988-1991 or so..
in memory of Angus "Tall Man" Scrimm and Robert "Maniac Cop" Z'Dar I will never forget the fights they had with Michael in Terrordrome, rest in peace legends of terror
I just discovered this version. I''ve never seen the Halloween movies, but I've always been interested, and now I have even more motivation as a Ghost freak 😅❤
I hear he started with Carpenter's theme and built the song from there. I can't find any confirmation but holy shit how awesome would it be if that were true!!
He started with the title. It'd been filed away a few years ago as 'That'd be a cool title for a halloween track'...And then fast-forward and he was offered a _Halloween_ track.
I saw Halloween Kills in the theater as 2018 Michael And I felt so bada$$ when this played! I stranded up and put the mask back on...and busted some moves 😂
Good version but as TB said in an interview (on the Swedish radio) this version wasn’t to his liking, it felt rushed and he wanted to change it but the film had already gotten this version. That was why there is another version on the new album and since I’m used to that version that I’ve listened to hundreds of times by now, I’m glad they had a do-over. 🖤🤘🏼🎶
Two months later and this is STILL one of my favorite songs in the genre. And I have to ask if anyone else hearing this song thinks it works just as well for Warframe's New War quest.
I like it but prefer the Studio Version. This one misses the Epicness of the "Aoowaoowaaah... I'm coming, I'm dying" ending to the solo part. And the effect when he says "Faded" right after has less impact too.
Watched this sequel last night on HBO Max and I noticed it some big flaws, especially with the tone, pacing (that opening sequence was overlong), and that one really annoying angry mob at the hospital plot point, and that shocking and depressing ending, but I still enjoyed this movie a lot and it had the best, most creative, and most violent kills in the franchise. The Shape was at his best in this movie, even though the story wasn’t the best. It’s definitely not better than its predecessor nor even H20 (despite it not being canon anymore), but still a hell of a lot better than all the other Halloween sequels and Rob Zombie’s Halloween reboot. This movie is not as bad as many critics think it is.
I can't say it's "better", it just has a completely different mood, but I like the vocals on this version more than on the original, sounds different and more authentic. However, I think we're agree with each other that it's a great song anyway...! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
FYI the Loma Vista Limited Edition 7” vinyl of Hunter’s Moon has two tracks, both versions of the song. Side A: Hunter’s Moon, Side B: Hunter’s Moon (Film Version).
Wow, the studio version sounds like something out of Prequelle but this arrangement sounds like it could have been on Opus Eponymous with less bombastic production. Needless to say, I really prefer Halloween Kills version.
I’m gonna say it. This is the superior version of the 2 Hunter’s moons. The ‘bridge’ here rocks more without that clunky metal riff that brings the momentum to a halt in the album version. Tho, the album version is no slouch for that cool extended bridge part at the end.
Go to hone depot and buy some pipes wire fertilizer and some extra goodies then build a “surprise pipe” and send it to their homes and you’ll quickly stop being harassed 😎 😎 😎
Way,WAY Cooler than the Original version, I just think the original version sounds plain compared to this version, like nothing special about it, Not everyone has to agree with me though
I love both versions of the song, but I still think it's amazing that Tobias made THIS and then said "nah, I can make it BETTER"
He sounds less papa and more Tobias in this version. I love both. Brilliant as always
IMO this sounds closer to older ghost
@@Fuhrdaddy I think so too. This one sounds more like traditional Ghost to me
This sounds more like a live version or smthng like that
Live version, without mask

When in the movie was this song? I remember never hearing it. Was it just in the credits?
@@franksolleveld2909 yeah, it was in the end credits after the classic michael myers song
What about waste! It should have been at the end when he had the stand-off with everyone. Its the only reason i watched the movie.
I was one getting up and walking out.

i left the theater while the song was playing, it was a great feeling
i work in a cinema and am loving the credits of this movie too,
i've happily had it stuck in my head for the past few days! :D
it was packed asf when i was there

This is epic as fuck. I can see Myers walking through this while the epic solo is playing.
I can see him slashing🔪☠️ & dancing at the same time!🤣
@@rubenmelchor8 lmfao oh yeah
Epic is right. Ghost does epic very well.
It's not even really in the movie unfortunately. It's at the very end of the credits.
I could see him doing bloody manslaughter on a bunch of people ganging up on him at night while this song is playing.
had me freaking out in the theater! i never expected it to be a different version!
I hope when they play this live they combine the two versions. The length and guitar styling of the other version with the bells and choirs of this version. I love how epic this version is, but it's still missing some things that the other version does better.
Nice throwback to 80's horror movies that rocked out with these custom end credits songs.
Getting more old school vibes from this one. Love both
I want someone to splice scenes from all the movies to this track

Had that Alice Cooper vibe from Jason Lives. Totally love it.
That literally what I thought too. Gives that "he's back man behind the mask" vibe
I thought the same thing!
.. okay, how?
I love both versions.
Literally One of My Favorite Parts of this Movie
I love how he kinda works the Halloween theme into the chorus

So proud of Tobias ☺️☺️🖤🖤

It’s correct! Greetings from Sweden 😊
This was so perfect after the ending of that movie! I could just imagine a montage of the film with Michael on a rampage in my mind.
Saw this movie last week and the entire theater was full! Great song, fits perfectly!
Yeah now uts barely full lol stupid movie

This song is the best. Holy cow. the momment I heard it, I knew i'd love to listen to it again.
Love this song. Cannot understand why it is not on the soundtrack.
Brilliant thanks guys for the song you rule
This song kicks ass real hard
They performed this in Austin on August 30th, Papa said 'You ever go to the cinema?' right before this song began
this is much better than the studio version
I like it but prefer the Studio Version.

The studio version doesnt fit the movie at all. This has a sinister element to it in the instrumental, almost similar to one of carpenter's scores
@@takumeme545 I am glad there are 2 versions for that reason
@@takumeme545 they used carpenters score as a base for the song

I wish I had stayed the night I seen this opening night to have that theater sound

I thought this was a recorded live show at first but it doesn't make sense. Odd that they went with this mix but i still dig it
They usually do 2 songs for movies, 1 for their use, like a single, then 1 for the film, what the director would want to have mixed.
There's typically a different mix for theatres. The vocals tend to be louder and generally they have more reverb thrown on them.
Love your song forever your awesome ♥️🎸🤘💯🎵🎶🎸♥️🤘🎵🎶
