I will never understand the huge hate towards this band. Metal fans hate them because they are not that heavy, but that doesn't make this band any bad. They sounds like classic rock with psychedelic atmosphere which is great and it makes them original. As a metalhead myself I love their music. If someone calls them "satanic group" that's just laughcable.
What isn't understood is that the band is a progressive fusion metal band. They are telling a story. This isn't something new. The Who did a Rock Opera called Tommy and KISS tried to do a rock opera called "Songs from The Elder" Tobias has just spread his story telling across the entire career of Ghost. Also those of you who don't remember this album are clearly suffering from the Mandela Effect.
Its because they got super popular and all of the elitist don't like that I guess. I saw ghost twice, once 4 years ago in a small venue and once last year in a sold out large venue. Guess they're doing something right , right lol.

Definitely about the best Ghost song I've ever heard today. Been a while since I jammed to them but this song shows they never disappoint like Ghost still kills it on every album. This is really good.
The difference between the first chorus and the last one is subtle, but so so deeply heartbreaking, I don't know if it is the instrumental or the voice, but the last "Mary on a cross" sounds so much more dramatic and it is beautiful, I live for it

Every time a song came out years ago and is now popular, fans are like "Tik Tok Ruined This Song" or "It's Not Our Secret Anymore" but I love how old fans are happy to see the attention this band has gotten and recommend listening to the rest of the albums 💗💖
I'm glad for any attention this great band gets, been a fan since the debut and love the band so of course i'm just happy for any traffic / new fans they get. I say that as a person who's mostly seen cancerous stuff from TikTok that has leaked over to YT.. never really used the app so i don't know shit tho:) Naturally there's good content creators on there if one looks for the gems that is hidden by endless braindead creations, that's how anyone with sense uses any content platform.
I’ve loved this band for years and I’m just so happy to see them charting. They also recently wrote an official song for the Halloween franchise. It’s really nice that they seem to be finding some mainstream success after all this time.
I feel like Ghost has always struggled because it is such an odd mix of metal, pop, and theatric pop, but I think TikTok has just the right demographic of people to enjoy the vibes and lyrics.

I can understand people because of the internal crisis that occured in the band in 2016, because of the royalties that Tobias didn't give to the other members of the band.... I am still a huge Ghost fan, since their second album, I love the music, the concept, their shows that I never miss etc, but that story... Even if it's hard to know the truth about this, when I looked for informations, it seems that Tobias was the "bad guy".... And I was very disappointed. But yeah, he seems to be really nice in the interviews, and with his fans, and so funny during the shows, I still like him anyway.

The drums in this song are incredible. The simple elegance is so fitting. Ghost never overdoes their instrumentation, it’s always perfect and has intent.

Came across Ghost a couple of years ago due to a random image doing a comparison of Ghost and Slipknot (Slipknot fans crying because someone said they aren't metal VS Ghost fans saying they know Ghost aren't metal), and it made me search for a track. I think it was this one I came across, and I have to say, that this, Square Hammer, Dance Macabre and Call me Little Sunshine all ended up straight in my playlist. Fantastic songs, and if anyone hates on them, well, they shouldn't. That said, I do love Slipknot too, they've got a lot of great songs (only mentioned this due to the before mentioned image comparing them)

I'm kinda floored how much Ghost has blown up over the past few years. They're genuine superstars now. Crazy for the fans who were with them since the first album, no one would've predicted this
Honestly thought they were kind gay. That was back in 2017 and I listened to like two songs. They opened for Maiden in 2017 and I was in the merchandise line while they played. Big regret now. I’m so in love with Tobias. Very creative and talented.
I knew of their music but never knew the band's name until about 2 years ago and I'm thankful they kept it together and kept going But there is something to be said for a band that has songs praising the legitimate devil and still get massive support and love for it.

I'm glad for any attention this great band gets, been a fan since the debut and love the band so of course i'm just happy for any traffic / new fans they get. I say that as a person who's mostly seen cancerous stuff from TikTok that has leaked over to YT.. never really used the app so i don't know shit tho:) Naturally there's good content creators on there if one looks for the gems that is hidden by endless braindead creations, that's how anyone with sense uses any content platform.
I’ve loved this band for years and I’m just so happy to see them charting. They also recently wrote an official song for the Halloween franchise. It’s really nice that they seem to be finding some mainstream success after all this time.
I feel like Ghost has always struggled because it is such an odd mix of metal, pop, and theatric pop, but I think TikTok has just the right demographic of people to enjoy the vibes and lyrics.

I can understand people because of the internal crisis that occured in the band in 2016, because of the royalties that Tobias didn't give to the other members of the band.... I am still a huge Ghost fan, since their second album, I love the music, the concept, their shows that I never miss etc, but that story... Even if it's hard to know the truth about this, when I looked for informations, it seems that Tobias was the "bad guy".... And I was very disappointed. But yeah, he seems to be really nice in the interviews, and with his fans, and so funny during the shows, I still like him anyway.

I think it was this one I came across, and I have to say, that this, Square Hammer, Dance Macabre and Call me Little Sunshine all ended up straight in my playlist. I'm kinda floored how much Ghost has blown up over the past few years. They're genuine superstars now. Crazy for the fans who were with them since the first album, no one would've predicted this
Honestly thought they were kind gay. That was back in 2017 and I listened to like two songs. They opened for Maiden in 2017 and I was in the merchandise line while they played. Big regret now. I’m so in love with Tobias. Very creative and talented.

I knew of their music but never knew the band's name until about 2 years ago and I'm thankful they kept it together and kept going But there is something to be said for a band that has songs praising the legitimate devil and still get massive support and love for it.
