When you're a vampire and need to get back inside before sunrise
😂😂😂😂😂
Exactly. I was gonna say how fittingly ironic it is for a vampire to know and appreciate this song. For a whole different reason.
Almost like a vampire who is ready to finally die, and is ready to embrace the sunlight while also warning his other brethren.
@@superfessel good comment
I know one who fears Blue cheese😆🤣
All Ghost's covers are so insanely good! I really wish they'd do "don't fear the reaper" Tobias' voice would be perfect for that.
I think covering BOC is a little on the nose for Ghost. Opus Eponymous was basically BOC meets Mercyful Fate, so always seemed like those 2 bands were off the list for potential covers haha.
Anthony Vincent from Ten Second Songs covered it in the Style of Ghost
I second this emotion
Or maybe Godzilla or Take Me Away, your idea is great, too. Ghost has reminded me of BOC in subtle ways.
Yes!!! Or any of the Imaginos saga (Workshop of Telescopes ) would be amazing!
Gothic Beatles? Impossible
Ghost: Hold my beer
Piulo Illustration: Gothic Beatles?
Type O Negative: 😉
One of the best Beatles covers ever.
This is the original, Beatles just played it while being high.
@@siegheilyolo totally agree! hahaha
@@siegheilyolo Love your name, brother.
@@bulbasaurbrutal5137 Amen \o
my mom's a huge Beatles fan and even she likes this
I see a lot of comments saying Ghost has masterfully taken all the joy out of this song. In one way, I agree, and I love it. In another, when I listen to this, I feel a sense of triumph and a warning for incoming revenge, a bit of "you thought you'd seen the last of me?" To me, it feels like power.
Precisely, and its been years since its been this clear
Yes
wow you are so sensitive Rigel, like a poet or something ? We are so impressed by your insight. You truly are a special lady 😘.
@@thomasdupont7186Rigel isn't a woman's name.
This is how a cover should be. Make the song in your own style. Never fail to be impressed with Tobias and his creativity.
All of Ghost's covers are such great works. They always change something fundamental about the original song to make it a completely new work. I really admire that.
Ghost gotta do a cover of George Harrison's My Sweet Lord. I feel like the song would fit with the band's context
They should also cover Let It Be (church sounds), Helter Skelter, and I Want You (She's So Heavy). Hey, maybe God by John Lennon as well. Might as well throw in Well Well Well in too.
@@cringe_shattles69 I had an idea since my first reply. If he covers God, I think he should do it if they were doing a final album. In the song, he could renounce Ghost instead of Beatles (Like how John removed the "The," he could just say "I don't believe in ghosts"). What's more, he could say "I was the Papa, but now I'm Tobias."
(Also, a cover of Blue Jay Way would be good.)
@@sylph8005 hmmm that DOES sounds epic though
@Grey Allen well that was out of nowhere but cool
The Beatles' "Long and Winding Road" might work for them too. It's introspective, and a pinch dark.
Wow! They completely changed the context of this song, turning something hopeful, encouraging and good into some kind of warning, a heads up for the vampires. Very nice, btw.
More like Lucifer
You should also hear Imagine by James Maynard Keenan, same end of days vibe
“Here comes the son”
That’s pretty clever and works perfectly for ghost.
Lmao literally XD
I hope Papa covers of How Soon Is Now next. Perfect double meaning.
Here comes the SUN spell it correctly please thank you
@@dakotarain1795 it's wordplay, you dunce.
@@dakotarain1795u must be fun a parties
I have always described Ghost as a Scandanavian version of Kiss who hate life. This further reinforces my opinion. They have taken the joy out of this song and it's great.
I love how they made such an upbeat song sound so sinister.
More like Kiss, if all the members were priests, and worshipped Satan.
I've heard someone describe ghosts as edgy Abba
Except Ghost is actually good

Stumbled across this one by accident! DAMN! This is so good!! Ghost covers are usually really good, but this is top tier, top notch, top shelf liquor. Woweee!! Still true enough to the original while also becoming something very Ghost.
As a Beatles fan I approve of this, ghosts should do a cover of other George Harrison songs
x2
Something: Ghost cover
Ghost cover of My Sweet Lord? ;)

Why have I not heard this cover until now? Absolutely love it🖤
It's one of several "hidden" Ghost songs.
Was only released in japan

I love the hard sound of the electric guitars, and Tobias' voice.
JFC there's no better band on the planet currently. I didn't have a definitive favorite band until I came across Ghost.
I hope they put this on the 10 year anniversary release of the album. If they don't I will be very disappointed.
I'm more personally hoping for an ep or album of hidden songs and songs that not everyone could have gotten a chance to get

Love these covers when a band does something unusual and makes it work. If this isn’t on some Addams Family soundtrack, it ought to be.
HERE COMES THE SON
that is perfectly fitting lol
i was going to comment this exactly!!!! fits so well right after genesis
The beatles
If we ever get a proper ‘Salem’s Lot film adaptation, I NEED this to be the intro song
Ghost is one of the greatest bands in the world! Love them. 🦇💀
🤘
Remember, Jesus love GHOST
I absolutely love this feels like a completely different song amazing cover
Been listening to Ghost for a little over a year now and I just discovered this track the other day. Love it, his voice sounds so good in this.
im a huge beatles and ghost fan and i just found out about this cover, im obsessed.
Perfect song for your solar eclipse viewing 😁
The best band on the planet covering my fave group ever. Yes please
Couldn't say it better🤘🤘🤘
A man of fine taste.
A hidden gem
Great cover, my love for Ghost is huge
I love how they kept the 60's vibe.
Eventhough I am a devoted Beatles fan, I actually never really liked the original here comes the sun. My English teacher introduced me to this little ditty and I like it a whole lot better.
really cool English teacher you've got there
First song I heard about Ghost & heard about this Tobias. AMAZ-ING.
0:38 That guitar break, Chills
I used to play this on my guitar for my kiddo when they were a wee tiny one a long time ago. After the last two years of the Pandemic this version is all the more meaningful.
I just found this band.
I Love it!
That crescendo starting at 2:14...
It's a drug, baby.
And I am hooked.
That little bit at around 1:12 is my poison
I am on the board to weep, Music is beautiful
It's so beautiful
Really wish this was on iTunes with the rest of their work so I could get it in my library.
Me too it drives me nuts that I can’t listen to this on Apple Music
Tobias is so fucking good at singing it’s nanners, sounds the same live too
Yeah, it's really impressing that he does it with the mask too
This song got me into these guys
I like when covers take a unique spin on things!!!
Beatles song bring me out of the depression that slowly earts my life away....this for a second let's me taste the sorrow
Great version. It's a shame it's not on Spotify.
There is no better cover of any song. Magic.
"It has been years since it's been years" is now my favourite phrase to use
I want this to play in my funeral.
So do I this version of here comes the sun sounded more haunted than the Beatles version
Added it to my play list. My sister is totally aghast! 🤣

I want them to play that AC/DC song about my big balls.

Blue Jay Way. The most Ghostly no pun intended of all Beatles songs.
Awesome. Perfect Beatles cover of my favorite Beatles song
This song feels like it would belong in Infestissumam honeslty not Opus. What a great fucking cover though
Totally agree
I like to think that this cover makes for a perfect transition from Opus to Infest. The switch in vibe and Here Comes the "Son" keeps the continuity going
as opus is about the coming of satan, here comes the sun (sun=light=lucifer) fits perfectly into the album imo
Here is someone listening this cover in 2022, as a Beatles fan I love it!

How is it metal? It's fun, but why metal?
