who’d have thunk it lol I am brand new to the channel and only found it from looking at Cure vids so idk where these people are from or where they seen them but I’m jelly af well for 2 weeks anyhow lol
Robert is a great singer and musician but also a nice guy and happy survivor and kind to fans and that counts. I'm 76 and they are as good or better than ever. I always come back to them and the Chameleons UK. Soldier on good man..
@@Haunt-N-GoSeek thank you for telling Robert Smith many of the same things I would have mentioned, particularly about the ticket prices. I can afford the tickets, but the point is that too many bands & their management needlessly exploit their fan base beyond what anyone would consider reasonable. Yet again, The Cure come out on top!
Both bands are absolutely amazing! I always find myself coming back to those bands too. In the 80’s the 2 albums I listened to the most were Script of the Bridge and Pornography.
Just saw them in Montreal...took the kids. 4 tickets cost me 120$ total. You can't get that bang for your buck anywhere. Loved them in the 80's...love them now.
He literally reacts like that at the end of every show. One tear rolled down my cheek when he did this at the show I went to. He’s so adored by the fans
I mean, Mozart did his thing, and Robert does his thing... Robert Smith is the Robert Smith of our history and that's it. One of the greatest frontmans in the history of music.
I just saw them in Chula Vista the show was great!!! Just hearing his voice i cried 😭😭😭😭 he is so humble, kind and greatful an excellent person. Love you Robert
omg I just told my husband that if I ever get to see them live I'll probably cry hearing his voice! The emotion he can stir is amazing. Glad you got to see them, I bet it was pure magic ✨
I'm so glad Robert has never lost his connection with real people. I met him in the early 80s after he'd played guitar for the Banshees, and spent ages talking to him in the club the band went to after the gig (Rum Runner, Birmingham)
Been a huge fan since 80!!! So privileged to have been able to experience such amazing genre bending music in real time!!! A fan for life, and I'm 62 now!
I BELIEVE ROBERT IS THE GREATEST PERSON THAT ❤️ EVER HAPPENED TO MUSIC!!! All the way from SEVENTEEN SECONDS TO BLOOD FLOWERS!! ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! THANK YOU ROBB & SIMONE
I met him at the height of their popularity, and I have always said the same. He was so insanely sweet to me. Meeting him is literally a core memory of mine.
I am 51 years old and have been following their music my whole life... Like Depeche Mode, it is amazing that the bands are still together and making music!
Legendary,Timeless, Musical Genius! I’m 51, but purchased my first Cure cassette in 1983, 40 years ago! They were “My” Generation of Zepplin at the time, but it isn’t fair to compare…. BOTH, are Legends of their Time, on into ALL TIME! Love, luv, Love 💕 the Cure
Saw them in Cleveland in June. Amazing show. Delayed due to power outage (lightening partial outdoor venue) they still jammed a full 3 hours. Sounded AMAZING. His voice is the same!! Loved it.
To you all tripping to see Bob wearing shorts. Hum...he lives. He enjoys football ⚽️. The kind with the round ball. Not oval. He wore shorts when in uniform playing soccer against the Scottish lead singer of a big country. Bob has been there. Done that. He wrote" push" off me kiss me, to show his diversification. Don't pigeonhole Robert. It's a lose-all situation. Yea. I gather am old. 50. So. I got the new goths. Overweight and strange, have it all wrong. Glad you do have great taste. Listen to the top. Great album. RIP Andy. 🙏 . Sad I missed him in mountain view. Happy he's making sooo many happy with sad songs. Ironic as he is. Okay. My point is valid. He's from the birth of punk and played in the banshees. He is more witty, and tongue in cheeky ways. Et oui. Merci Robert. Tu est vraiment un homme très fort, un musician, songwriter, and a visionary, a professional. Just real. Thanks for posting this.
When he signed my concert ticket, he handed it to Simon and the rest of the band signed it in turn. One of the highlights of my life as a fan.
Como é bpm e especial vermos Robert Uau🥰😎🌹♥️
I AM ABSOLUTELY JEALOUS!!!!😔

I've been looking so long at this picture of...Robert Smith in a Hawaiian shirt...that I almost believe that he's real.

I just saw them in Miami last Saturday. They were amazing! Crazy how good Robert Smith voice still sounds after 40+ years of singing
I was there too!!! It was soooo amazing! Robert’s voice is as hypnotic and beautiful as it always has been!
I just adore Robert's sincerity and his ability to do 30+ songs each night as if they were all hot off the recording press. He is a true artist!

"Happy SURVIVOR"?? 😮
@MicheleMcAdoo well, he is not dead and does tour and seems somehow content for an old Goth. Disentegration was not happy, but was great.
Robert Smith
A living legend❤
Agreed 🙌🏼
He is alive and he is a legend
Icon.
