You'll never see a better video of a TT lap.
    Hicky is brilliant.
    The bike is incredible.
    The weather is fantastic.
It's not just about a great lap - the video is perfectly done.
The editing between cameras is brilliant.
The markers in the corner of the screen was a great touch.
    No music!!
    Hicky was brilliant.

@@wills.junks7 While it's absolutely correct that a motorbike is ridden, and I would only ever say ridden, "drove" does actually make sense.
Drove is past tense of drive, and drive (v) means to "operate and control the direction and speed of a motor vehicle", with mention of controls.
I've heard "pilot" being used on many occasions to describe a motorcyclist, when a motorbike is neither an aircraft nor a ship, so while drive/drove is an odd way to phrase things, it is acceptable.
Also, I've heard plenty of international riders refer to it as "drive".

As a BMW i3 owner I like the fact that the technology from the car I drive daily is in this bike. As an S1000RR owner I just love this bike. Less weight, more power, the ability to use the carbon layup to tune the frame, the Godlike brembo brakes and Ohlin's suspension - pass the tissues!
Whenever friends would give me s**t for "chicken strips" on my S1000RR, I'd send them a link to this video.
Typically I go through two sets a year. The 'summer set' saw a few track days but the 'winter set' has more chicken strips than KFC but I have lots of fun, as did Hicky in this video. Stay on the meat of the tire and stay safe. If you're scuffing up the tires on the edge at the sidewalls, you're doing something wrong.
Strange that none of the friends that gave me grief would go to track days with me.
