Thanks for the video! I’m so close to hitting the button on this car. It’s actually priced very good compared to dealers. I had my concerns as we all do and I am actually someone who loves the wrestling match to haggle so it was a tough pill to swallow to not get a deal. But it’s still priced well. Speaking of Jeeps. I was offered 10k for my Jeep unlimited 2011 by carvana but I ended up selling privately for $15,500. Definitely when you go to sell it, sell privately. Jeeps hold value very very well. I guess I’m going to do this! Did you get any of the other warranties? The plus? Thanks.
Great review!! Open and honest unlike other carvana reviews. We just bought an outback and are picking it up next week. So far it has been a great experience and I’m hopeful it will be through the end.
Well I bought three cars from them and had friends who did as well. As someone who works at a body shop, and knows what they are looking for, I have returned all my vehicles. It sucks because I hate dealing with local dealerships just like everyone else. But the quality of Carvanas cars are very concerning, because two of the vehicles I have received had undisclosed damage and one had severe frame damage, something that their 150 point inspection should be able to pick up. Worst part was after showing them all the damages on the car I have returned, they still listed it for sale like they don't care about the lives of their customers. Long story short they are selling the worse cars from auction at retail prices and they are still going broke. I would have your car inspected at a Subaru dealer or a shop that knows what they are doing.
I'll have to say with the suv that I bought it was around 1300 cheaper than what the dealerships in the area were asking. I know I might of been able to talk them down but I'd rather not deal with that. I'm not that good at negotiation with salesmen. So Carvana is great for people like myself. I even was able to finance through my own bank. Insanely easy process.
We got a Jeep from them and the rear window zipper was offline and you couldn't take it out to take the top down. Our dealer was skeptical too but Carvana/Silver Rock paid for a new window with no problems.
My delivery was supposed to happen today...got an email this morning that it was delayed now...so far it had been a super solid experience. We'll see what they say now.
I agree that Carvana prices are typically at the high end, but their listings labeled "great deals" are a lot better. Also if you are trading in they will typically give you 25to40% over KBB, Edmunds or Carmax.
I think that is because it's presumed they take care of that in the inspection fee before delivery. But if any of those are worn out or bad I'd mention it in the 7day money back part asap.
So I went to a dealership while car shopping. I walked inside, I was asked if I was looking for someone! Huh, I said no! I’m looking for a car. So the sales man then started moving. We looked at some cars, and minutes later another sales man came by and then another. So I dealt w 3 sales people trying to sell me the car. I said F this. Went to carvana. Looked at cars, found what I wanted. Ordered it minutes later. Signed the contracts and confirmed delivery all on my phone. If you value your time there is no need to waste time and money dealing w the car dealerships
Just got a suv from carvana, better then stress of regular dealers & happy with Suv but 1 neg why with only 9k miles did they put New Garbage Nexen Summer Tires on it, is beyond me. Will keep the suv but now have to go spend $700 on new all season tires. Also delivery guy was Great.
We purchased a Jeep from them, but it was just over 100K miles - no big deal usually, but had a check engine light 24 hours after getting it. SilverRock took care of it 100% with a local dealer, it popped up again next day, took it back to the dealer, and again 100% covered! Well...........so far so good.........I think? The customer service is exceptional though!
Got mine 5 days ago. It came 2 hours late. The inside had mold, gum in between seats. Disgusting interior. The outside had about 8 more scratches than listed. It had brand new brakes and new tires. The car started vibrating above 60mph because the people who installed the tires didnt balance them right. The provisional who delivered it apologized, gave us a gift card to eat. He took about 60 pictures of everything. He said he'd filed a case to get it fixed. Got an email from carvana telling me the pictures weren't clear enough so they wouldn't fix it. They apologized for the interior since they saw the condition it was on and said they'd send a 100$ check for a detailing. In general I wouldn't recommend carvana. The company is still growing. Their mechanics are terrible. Their detailing department is literally retarded. 3 out of 10. The 3 being that the delivery was free and they let you drive it for 7 days. Take in mind your downpayment they'll take it 3 days before the 7 days end.
These stories make me question their inspection. Even the problems that got fixed real quick and weren’t “major”, still how the he’ll do all these things pass their inspection.
If it came off the truck, and I saw alot more damage than what they disclosed, I would have refused it. What other defects might it have had that were not disclosed? For me, HAIL NO!
people act like this shit doesnt happen at normal dealers or something. Are you kidding? Ive bought 116 cars in my adult life and there has never been a single car ive gotten from a dealership that didnt need something weather it be a light bulb or an alignment to a new transmission its the name of the game on why people trade cars in in the first place. Your much more likely to take a bath buying at a scumbag local dealer then carvana who will at least back up their vehicles and make things right in the end with enough noise.
@@truthtimetv4575 Are you serious? Carvana advertises itself as a better alternative, with better vehicles and better inspection. If they can't delivery on their promise, then they deserve the criticism they receive.
Had my delivery rescheduled a 2nd time today to next Saturday. The support person said it's due to NY DMV delay in getting them the registration and plates. I thought in NY people were getting cars with temp registrations and plates. But who the hell knows. The car is literally 10-15 minutes away from me at their warehouse so I am hopeful they can get this taken care of swiftly this week. Especially since the support woman told me she filed to have me compensated $25 for everyday past the delivery date. Granted she said the office has to confirm that but I have heard of this already from people so seems par for the course. Hoping I get a note from them that it's ready before next Saturday.
@@mrcassonova1 That either means the car got damaged in transport and now they gotta fix it. Mostly a cosmetic thing. How the fuck that happens so much is beyond me. The other is they just don't have enough trucks on the road to deliver the car. Problem with Carvana is they are growing faster then they can handle. They don't use big trailers to transport since the car is going to a house and not a dealer lot. So it definitely can take longer if you are either in an area that isn't popular for them or they just don't have enough delivery trucks to go around.
Hello. Thanks for the Video. Did you get the Carvanacare extended warrant? I am thinking of getting a Nissan Rogue SL with all the bells and whistles and was wondering if it is worth it to get the warranty?
Hey, I’m buying one soon. Well my dad. On the picture it clearly shows a 4 door 2013 Jeep rubicon. But on the window sticker on the app it says 4x4. Plz help I don’t wanna get robbed. And it’s coming soon so
Sounds to me like they cleared the codes instead of fixing the problem. ALWAYS scan for codes as soon as it comes off the truck! If I/M is not "Ready" status, the codes have been recently cleared! Did you get a Loaner while yours was being fixed? I, as a Consumer work too hard for money to happily give away $3,000! At the Dealer, all you do is say "No thank you" to EVERYTHING they want you to buy. Only State required fees, and nothing else!
Thats really good advice! and yeah they may have cleared the codes. i did not get a loaner because i had an extra vehicle. I now cant remember what the options were for that
Wow , last year I wanted a Jeep Renegade but got scared after doing my research and people said Fiat quality wasn't very good. I will try again when my credit improves but now I'm more interested in Luxury sport . Ive seen entry level Mercedes in the 15k range, the Fusion with the luxury pack seems like another good choice .
Fusion is tried and true. And trust the stories of Fiat/Chrysler are true they are horrible however the Jeep has darn near been perfected so not many issues with them. Check out car complaints . Com
The only thing about Jeeps is that dealerships consider them high mileage at 100k. I use to do accounting for a dealership and noticed at about 115k it would start having non stop mechanical issues with most of their lines. I would personally stay away unless you'll trade it before then.
Carvana is a joke. They stood me up and didn't even have the decency to acknowledge they'd messed up. Would not recommend to anyone, selling or buying.
😭😭 I knowwww, I miss it so much! I got a Toyota Tundra. I had to have something that could haul stuff and tow larger boats for work. I'll definitely get another one day! ✌️
Only issue i see with Carvana is their prices are higher than a normal dealership and i can negotiate the price at a dealer. I love Haggling it gets me the satisfaction of knowing i got a good deal by negotiating
I purchased a car from Carvana and they were actually the lowest priced car in my area for the mileage and year I wanted to stay around. I also went to a dealership for a similar car and they wouldn't budge on pricing; so every situation is different. I have noticed that they're now charging a shipping fee and when I purchased that wasn't the case.
@@truthtimetv4575 i totally agree. haggling is the dumbest shit ever, and if that gets your rocks off youre weird. we should be able to buy anything, let alone an expensive vehicle that costs thousands at 1 price. not several prices....
