So when I interact with someone, I try to connect with them through school or work. I'm not trying to offend someone, that's not my intention. I just dont know how to interact with them otherwise.
The surrogate comment is so insensitive. When you can see a person is trying to get pregnant and really excited about it why would you even say something like that. So disrespectful and insensitive! That’s none of our business in the first place😷

While I absolutely agree with it being out of line to say.I am curious as to why so many women in the entertainment business seem to have a hard time conceiving? And you would think these rich women have access to great healthcare and assuming that many of them are seemingly in good health because of their access to nourishing food and excercising facilities. When it seems that the average women with less access to the things that these rich stars have seem to concieve with no problem even repeatedly.Im not saying that non famous women dont have issues conceiving but it just seems that getting pregnant or not getting pregnant amoungst the hollywood famous is very noticiable.
I don’t think it was fully insensitive just because of how she talks about getting pregnant almost she doesn’t care if it happens or not and she is not trying to, I can only feel sorry for her if she was 100% real with us and not act like she is not even trying to get pregnant

@She’s so Lucky oh yes. My sister bought a house (under her name). Once she got married now everyone is calling it her HUSBAND'S house instead of saying her or their house. For ex : "Hey let's go to "husband name's house" or when they talk about the house they say "his house is always clean" or "his house has a pool"... even when she is right there.

I have an accent so people tend to ask where I am from. I say Jamaica then they respond by either saying " thanks for learning English" or " you speak English really good". I respond by saying it should be " English really well" and Jamaica is an English speaking country.
Oh my god same!! Just because I speak eloquently, does not make me sound white!! Since when does an entire race own the right to sound a certain way? Ridiculous
“Bc my parents raised me well , respect, and basic plain English skills , I also graduated. Sorry if your mama sound like a fool when she speaks “ that’s what I say !
Damn, it's the older women though that are booooold with their questions 😭🤣🤣🤣. A few years ago, I was at a CVS with my [step] son who looks exactly like his father, and an older lady comes up to me and says, oh your baby is cute. He looks nothing like you. I was like oh... I know he looks like his dad, then she left 🤦🏻♀️
Even hearing people say ‘you’ve lost weight!’ really bothers me even though it’s intended as a good thing I suppose. I used to struggle with eating disorders and even though, I’ve been healthy/recovered for years, it’s always a huge insecurity for me. I feel like any comments pertaining to a woman’s weight needs to stop...even if it’s intended as a compliment, you never know what that person is going through.
Yes most of my family is/was overweight at some point so “you’ve lost weight” is very much seen as a compliment but I just can’t stand when anyone says it to me it makes me super uncomfortable. Then I try to explain how I prefer if they don’t say and they don’t understand and think I’m unreasonable and somewhat bitchy
As a black woman I hate when I am making a large purchase and the person asks me “soo... what do you do for a living.” My response... I work just like you.
Onika Tonya Maraj I think it’s supposed to be like “how can you afford this” or even “I didn’t expect someone like you to have this kind of money” it could’ve been racially charged, or she wasn’t looking A1 that day idk 🤷🏽♀️
In my family we are all different shades of brown but we have the same parents. When I’m with my lighter skin sister people sometimes ask if we have different fathers and I find it offensive. It’s annoying and hurtful but I’ve learned to brush it off over time...
I'm dark skinned and my bother is light skinned. In school teachers would stop me more than once to ask me if we REALLY had the same father and the same mother.
"So you don't work?" When you're mainly a stay at home mom who works on the side housekeeping and they don't realize you are backpacking everything in the home. I've had many jobs. This is a job lol but I don't get my own full work paycheck.
I wouldnt even respond. If its an innocent, what do you do? Id say i do a lot of things. If its so you don't work?....rude. Be blocked. Why do they care whats in your pocket
Ok bare with me guys... but I hate questions where it seems like ur asking just to ask not because you need a solution... like I hate “ What you doing “ then I answer and they’re like “ Oh ok “ like wtf is that
This is the thing. When you're single they ask you when get a boyfriend, when you get a boyfriend they ask you when you get engaged, when you get engaged they ask you when the big day is. After you get married they ask you when you want kids. When your first child arrives they ask you when you want your second. When you have two boys they say to try for a girl. When you have two girls they say you should try for a boy. When they're old enough they ask you if you have grandchildren. When you reach 100 they wonder why you're still alive.
I only experienced this when I was single for a long time. I thought they'd stop asking questions but since I was with my partner they asked questions about when I'll be getting married. Then asked me when I'll have a baby etc. It never stops there. Even with my single mother who is in her 60s. She lives alone but shes happy. People just insinuate just because shes alone she needs a man.
The innocent question that bothers me is when are you going to get married and start a family? Or when are you finishing school? Those bother me because I desire to be married but I’m single. Also I’m premed so I will be in school for awhile. I know it doesn’t sound offensive but hearing the questions so much gets on my nerves! I’m young, I’m 28 so maybe I will be married eventually who knows 🤷🏽♀️
Tracy G recently I was looking for a place to purchase and I told my realtor that I want a 2 bedroom place since I’m buying. She says to me “you have no man or kids so you don’t need a 2 bedroom”. Talk about a big punch in the face. It’s like people fail to realize I’m a full time student and just because I don’t have a family now doesn’t mean it will never happen. It’s irritating 😒
"why are you so quiet" "why don't you talk about your life" "do you have a boyfriend" "do you live alone" "where are you from" "how old are you" "you're tall for a girl" I can go on and on. People are nosey and rude and just wanna have one up on you. Nevertheless keep your business to yourself and only answer things you want to answer. Don't ever feel pressured.
What do you answer when they ask your age but you don’t want to answer? It happened to me on the bus, this girl kept asking my age, non stop, like bitch, I didn’t want to tell her and she kept asking, I just let her assume my age, never really told her, but how do I manage those questions?
I wore full beat in hs so wen i showed up makeupless eveyone thought i was sick. I realized these ppl only see me at my best which is y I decided on no more makeup unless it was a special occasion. Best thing ive ever done for my confidence. I like how i look both ways equally as much
I hate it when people ask me if I’m mad and I tell them no, I’m not mad and they just keep going at it saying but you look like your mad, so you must be mad.
I HATE when people tell me, “you have a pretty face,” (I’m slightly over weight) . Like no, honey, I’m just pretty, just because I’m not your ideal body shape doesn’t mean the rest of me is any less beautiful.
My daughter was born very light with curly hair and people kept asking me if the father was white and when i said no he was African they asked "are you sure?" I kept getting this question for yrs i was fed up!
i have naturally curly 3a-3b hair and because of the fact that i’m white ive always gotten questioned about if my hair is real or not. from the time i was little (age 5-6) to now being 20 years old people are always curious. for example, customers at my job ask me at least 5 times a day “is ur hair real?” or “is that natural” and sometimes it makes me happy because i see people are genuinely interested and then it’s followed up by “it’s beautiful, i wish i had hair like yours” but then on the other hand, some people ask me and they ask in a rude way as if my hair is unprofessional or it’s too big/frizzy for there liking and THAT bothers me to no end. i wish people would understand that we come in all shapes, colors, and hair textures and understand that diversity in people is not something to be bothered by, but something to be appreciative of.
I’d rather have things said to my face instead of behind my back so I can clarify, as opposed to them making assumptions in them ”car ride home” as Adrienne mentioned

oh i often get "are you over 21' bc im short for my age I get people to question my age, I'm 26 and people think I'm 16, also having a nature makeup is fablouse, i dont wear makeup but your inner beauty is beautiful too
I hate when people say “you look so tired”. I’m pregnant and my face is a little fuller then before and shinier. Every time I shower and do my skin care routine and go out thinking I look cute, someone always says “you look so tired” or “are you ok, you look like you just woke up”. It’s kinda annoying, and I always reply “yeah just a bit tired” cuz it’s upsetting when people say stuff like that, I’m literally just pregnant. I gained a few pounds and my face is fuller that doesn’t mean I’m not ok or I’m upset. I always get asked that especially by my in-laws and it’s annoying even though I know they don’t mean to offend me
They need a chill pill... next time that happens just point to your stomach & smile then slowly walk away... they'll know what you mean & hopefully leave you alone... you don't owe anyone an explanation for how you look... period
It literally hurts my heart when people ask why don’t I have kids and what are we waiting on and they even ask are we even trying?! Like my gosh if you knew the things some women and couples go through with infertility.

lol.. Yes I can def appreciate Tamar now that Whats her name is on there.. her name really slipped my mind🤷♀️ I like her outside of the real
When I got married people would ask “When are you having a baby?” Now that my daughter is 2, I’m getting the “When are you having another one?” Smh it never ends.
That's dumb. What if I only wanted one child?!
People ask me all the time, "Why do you have that thing on your head? Don't you get hot?" LOL! I choose to and no, it's not more hot. I'm used to warm weather.
I got asked this on my wedding day. Like STAAAHP. Let me enjoy myself TODAY.
Same I tell them when y’all get off welfare I’ll have more
Just tell them to keep out of your uterus! My entire family once had a conversation on whether or not I should have children and I said “can we stop talking about whether or not I’ll reproduce, please???”
When people only ask about my fiance's ambitions and career, but not mine. Women have ambition too!
Yes... like hello I am here? Are you going to ask me anything?
My in laws do that to this day 🙄
@She’s so Lucky it's so annoying 🙄
They do but lets be real it dont matter and usually dont benefit no one either. It cause more harm then good.
Since when do you just ask a stranger if her kids have the same dad? That’s crazy to me lmaooo.
😆 true
The question about Tamera's kids having the same father is so uncalled for.
Super rude.
"So what do you do?" Especially when you're a housewife.
So annoying!!... It’s like they’re deciding how much respect they’re gonna assign to you based on your profession. I hate this question with a passion.
People are so disrespectful to housewives, especially a lot of feminist. Its rude asf.
But what do you do?😂
How is that disrespectful?
It’s not disrespectful. It’s just something people ask that bothers her. It’s just uncomfortable sometimes.
I feel bad that I really busted out laughing with loni when she said “they got the same fathers” 🥴🥴😂😂😂 my bad. I really miss when it was just them four they were so funny
Raayden your not alone that was funny. Not what the woman said but when I think Adrienne said “& she’s still alive?” & all the ladies expressions. That had me cracking up with Loni
I miss just the 4 of them too. 💜
@@jennifercamille16 why whats wrong with amanda
@@AirBahg She's condescending. She always feels like her opinion is always right specially when it comes to race issues. I think she'll fit more on The View rather than The Real.
Yeah Amanda is great as a guest. Not having permanent residence in the show lol
People can be so bold and inappropriate.
That person really spoke into the atmosphere because Adrienne did end up having a surrogate. Now that's evil!
Here after she really had a surrogate
It’s not just nosy, it’s cruel and rude. People can be very insensitive.
Yeah and you can tell they had no home training 🙄🙄🙄🙄
I’m with Adrienne, what makes it ok to ask or say some of the crazy things that people say?
"Are you Mad?"
"No"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes"
"You sure???"
Now, now I'm mad!
This right here!
I get that one all the time i wasn’t mad to begin with then I be not if you you keep asking
So I’m pretty tall and I hate when people ask me “why are you so tall?” as if it’s a crime
Same here, I'm a member of the "6ft and up" club(or 183 cm) and people keep asking where my height comes-my genetics?
I feel you!
AHHHHH I WAS WAITING FOR THIS COMMENT!!!!!!!!
Yes like I can’t control it !!!
Apparently you can't be tall if you're a girl or so I'm told *rolls eyes*
I always get asked when I'm gonna start dating. I'm 21 and was cheated on when I was 18, single for 3 years now 🤷🏼♀️ Even my parents are trying to set me up. Like yall I'm tryna get my life and my self together. I'll settle down when I'm good and ready 👏
Little Black Star I come from a culture where I'm also 21(almost 22) and I'm basically considered an old lady. I mean no one asks me those questions, but it is very annoying. So when I tell people I'm single-they're very suprised
I have an accent so people tend to ask where I am from. I say Jamaica then they respond by either saying " thanks for learning English" or " you speak English really good". I respond by saying it should be " English really well" and Jamaica is an English speaking country.
Mi seh! It can bun mi 😭😂
@@jhordianleong4332 right, dwl
🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
LOL. Then a lot of of foreigners assume ALL English speaking Caribbean people are Jamaicans. Sigh. Just a mild case of ignorance that they have.
😳😳😳yup! That’s annoying
I seriously hate the “Why do you sound White?” question
Oh my god same!! Just because I speak eloquently, does not make me sound white!! Since when does an entire race own the right to sound a certain way? Ridiculous
Right!!!!!!! Man this whole video got me hating people rn
I don't even know what this means. Doesn't make any sense.
“Bc my parents raised me well , respect, and basic plain English skills , I also graduated. Sorry if your mama sound like a fool when she speaks “ that’s what I say !
Adrienne is seeerving looks here !!!
debriinaa as always!
Hey Kasper!!!!!! 👋🏽❤️
So pretty!
Some might be “innocent”, but many are just micro aggressions (not necessarily so micro either)
I hate “what are you?” When people are trying to figure out my race/ethnicity.
"Are you mad?" "You should smile more." "What's wrong?"
“What do you do for living?” People ask this to determine the level of respect to give you
I literally can not stand being asked “are you ok” or “is everything alright” yes I’m fine, even if I’m not fine 😂
Same. It’s so annoying 😭
Awh but thay just mean they care for u...
Same!
😳 watching these old episodes, and knowing what we know now. Glad Adrienne finally got her baby
Adrienne is giving me Jlo with her look. She looks very pretty.
Jeannie is funny without even trying to be😂
“why don’t you want kids” or “when are you having kids” i’m not just on this earth to be a human incubator
exactly!!
Why do people think that they are actually being nice when they say something like that
@@francescadeyo7045 right? No idea 🙄😂
I hate how they go “I recently read...” 😄 lies
I was thinking the same thing!! 🙄
They do read it tho
Amy Zorah they literally have to for the segment 💀😂 like they have to read it lol
🤣🤣🤣
why this comment so damn funny
😂 oh my. That same father comment is so hilariously offensive.
❤❤
Yes most of my family is/was overweight at some point so “you’ve lost weight” is very much seen as a compliment but I just can’t stand when anyone says it to me it makes me super uncomfortable. Then I try to explain how I prefer if they don’t say and they don’t understand and think I’m unreasonable and somewhat bitchy
This is so important. Comments pertaining to anyone's weight need to stop.
Yup. Even had people say I look good after I lost weight from being very sick. Not a tasteful comment
I knew someone that always said that too people just to be nice
As a black woman I hate when I am making a large purchase and the person asks me “soo... what do you do for a living.” My response... I work just like you.
It's none of their business
I hate random ass questions that have no point if answered
What does being black have to do with it
That's disturbing. It's none of their business.
Onika Tonya Maraj I think it’s supposed to be like “how can you afford this” or even “I didn’t expect someone like you to have this kind of money” it could’ve been racially charged, or she wasn’t looking A1 that day idk 🤷🏽♀️
“Why are you so tall” or “why are you so skinny” pisses me off the most. I used to laugh it off but now I just look at them with a straight face.
Definitely an old video but yaaass come through with the curls Tamera!!
Its not

@@alceanahenry2457 This was taped before Corona, so technically it is old but we are only seeing this episode now.
I Get annoyed when people ask " what are you?" Concerning my Ethnicity, I just say I'm Human.😅
In my family we are all different shades of brown but we have the same parents. When I’m with my lighter skin sister people sometimes ask if we have different fathers and I find it offensive. It’s annoying and hurtful but I’ve learned to brush it off over time...
Tiny Joe one second people know the various _shades of blackness_
the next it is an excuse to question one’s relation
Yeah I’m dark skin and I have a few lighter skinned siblings. People are so surprised that I have lighter skinned sibling.

Yessssssss
Jeannie talked about once too
Sameeee 😩😧
Lawd yes ugh
I miss the 4 ladies and the table 😞

Isn’t it five now?
Natasha Yes, with the addition of that buzzkill
When you’re on the verge of tears and someone asks “are you okay?” 😭 like bihhhh
When someone sees my daughter and asks if she’s my only child. No my son passed away. Innocent question but very sensitive
Yes jeannie! Agreed. People always ask if I’m sick or dont feel well if I dont have makeup on
In school people used to ask me “Do you have any friends?” Since I was alone most of the time and it would be so offensive.
Annisa Hasan facts.
Dead ass🤣
I only experienced this when I was single for a long time. I thought they'd stop asking questions but since I was with my partner they asked questions about when I'll be getting married. Then asked me when I'll have a baby etc. It never stops there. Even with my single mother who is in her 60s. She lives alone but shes happy. People just insinuate just because shes alone she needs a man.
People say the dumbest things........ personally I wouldn’t reply, I’ll just keep on walking away, away from their stupidity.
- where are you from?
- you don't SOUND like you're from new york
- any questions about 'black' tv shows like love and hip hop or empire, etc.
What’s wrong with the second one?
"Do you listen to rap?" Am I predisposed to listen to a certain genre of music because the color of my skin? TF??
The innocent question that bothers me is when are you going to get married and start a family? Or when are you finishing school? Those bother me because I desire to be married but I’m single. Also I’m premed so I will be in school for awhile. I know it doesn’t sound offensive but hearing the questions so much gets on my nerves! I’m young, I’m 28 so maybe I will be married eventually who knows 🤷🏽♀️
Lol and 28 is a lot younger than people think. We are barely getting started. Especially if youve been a student.
People who ask stuff like that are haters, actually.
I 100% agree. I have family members who think they’re entitled to know everything going on in my life. Nothing wrong with keeping to yourself.
"You don't drink??????????" Nah. I'm good😂😂
I HATE when people tell me, “you have a pretty face,” (I’m slightly over weight) . Like no, honey, I’m just pretty, just because I’m not your ideal body shape doesn’t mean the rest of me is any less beautiful.
Same here. I had someone tell me that I was pretty for a big girl. Like you can only be pretty if you're thin. I'm just pretty period.
Mixxed Chic PERIOD
3:32 when Loni loses it! 😂😂😂😂 Poor Tamera though! What a question!
I miss it with just them 4 😕 Feels less tense without Amanda, who’s too serious and always feels the need to be right.
Well she's gone.
The fact thats what adrienne really did tho…
My daughter was born very light with curly hair and people kept asking me if the father was white and when i said no he was African they asked "are you sure?" I kept getting this question for yrs i was fed up!
"Are you okay?" When im just calm living my day out as normal. People just assume im upset cuz of my resting face i guess
Omg. The breath intake and look tamera gave when the lady asked her that. I laughed till tears omg 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think is my favourite clip of the real this year!! Beautiful, funny, real and hilaaarious
My mom got rlly upset when someone asked "are u pregnant" or "when is ur baby due" when she wasn’t pregnant.
"You think them kids, i don't know" Adrienne kills me 😂💀
“”They all got the same father?”
Ok, that was NOT an innocent question!
i have naturally curly 3a-3b hair and because of the fact that i’m white ive always gotten questioned about if my hair is real or not. from the time i was little (age 5-6) to now being 20 years old people are always curious. for example, customers at my job ask me at least 5 times a day “is ur hair real?” or “is that natural” and sometimes it makes me happy because i see people are genuinely interested and then it’s followed up by “it’s beautiful, i wish i had hair like yours” but then on the other hand, some people ask me and they ask in a rude way as if my hair is unprofessional or it’s too big/frizzy for there liking and THAT bothers me to no end. i wish people would understand that we come in all shapes, colors, and hair textures and understand that diversity in people is not something to be bothered by, but something to be appreciative of.
I’d rather have things said to my face instead of behind my back so I can clarify, as opposed to them making assumptions in them ”car ride home” as Adrienne mentioned
To each their own.
I agree with Jeannie!! Literally always get that🤦🏻♀️
When Tamera said the girl asked "Do they have the same fathers'?" I laughed so hard I started to cry.

Why are u so quiet? ....Because I’m selectively social😒
When are u having a baby? ...When I get married😒

oh i often get "are you over 21' bc im short for my age I get people to question my age, I'm 26 and people think I'm 16, also having a nature makeup is fablouse, i dont wear makeup but your inner beauty is beautiful too
“ are you tired” “ are you getting enough sleep?”...I got two jobs and finishing my masters 🙄...so no (haha) I’m trying to get ish done! smh
That “are you sick?” Question when you don’t wear make up is so real Omga
Tamara’s voice what she talked about ‘They got the same fathers?’ lady 😂😂
"How old are you?" "Do you have a boyfriend?" "Did you graduate from college?"
what's wrong with those questions?
@@alext3480 These are innocent questions that bother me.
"They got the same fathers?" Lol Tamera took me out with that one.
"When are you gonna get pregnant ?"
*I physically can't carry a baby*
