Tamera what you said about divide and conquer (quality time with each child) is what we do as well; but staying connected has fallen over the years due to my husband's immediate family (in laws) with their demands and pressures and juggling life with kids. Our kids love each other but I have never seen children argue as much as ours. These things happening can take a toll on a marriage, I thank God we still love each other and desire being married to one another for our forever. What can one do to stay connected when they have no one that they can rely on to watch the children?! Its been hard and frustrating. But I am thankful to God that in the midst of these unfortunate times we can still have a laugh together, joke with one another, be silly, have conversations, smile at each other.
