    Not seeing the utility of this huge, short barreled pistol. Your typical 9mm full size pistol has a longer barrel, much lower weight, is a fraction of the overall size and bulk, can take extended magazines up to about 30 rounds, is available with a threaded barrel for a suppressor and you can buy as many as five of them for the same price.

    Wow! So many comments bashing the price first then pretty much overlooking the gun. If ya don't like it, thinks it's too much money, DON"T BUY IT! I suspect those leaving the scathing reviews have never handled the gun and or can't afford to buy one. Now, those that can afford the gun probably know it may be overpriced and quite frankly not very practical. But... to some of us it's just another "toy" to fondle. Not a toy from a safety standpoint but different people choose different pleasures (or poisons). I have shot an MPX Copperhead and "I" really like it. I have no practical use for it but "I wanted one" so I bought it. Each of has our prides and pleasures. How about just let us have our fun. I don't have a "Muscle Car" and I personally am not impressed with them so guess what? I don't have one.
    Cut the people and Sig some slack, move on to what you like. If I ever decide I don't like mine I will come post that information on here but don't sit around waiting for the post. It's as practical as my Smith and Wesson 500.

    PS, yes I love my MPX.

    So let me get this straight; you got rid of the longer MPX pistol (I believe the barrel was 6 or 7 inches or something. The original length) for the MPX-K. Then, instead of bringing it back, you make this even smaller version. All I want is the original-length MPX that was available a couple of years ago!

      Not to mention that Glock mags are super cheap compared to the $60-$70 MPX mags for the same capacity. If anyone really wants a 3-inch barrel on a PCC, then I have to ask why they'd want less velocity and thus overall energy than the same round coming out of a gun like the CMMG Banshee, which has a 5" barrel and takes much cheaper Glock mags. More power, less cost, same target audience. Why would anyone not in military/law enforcement choose this over an AR PCC?

  • @Paelorian
    @Paelorian 6 лет назад

    That narrow grip is a very good idea, because at this barrel length there starts to be a consideration if the shooter would be better off from a gun whose magazine fed from the pistol grip. That can work fine, as pistols have proven. But a grip with a magazine in it will both be as slim as the one here, and if that's a consideration (thick gloves, small hands, etc.) then this could be a strong reason to go with the Copperhead.
    This is a strong candidate for a longer handguard with a threaded barrel within it for suppression, or integral suppression. You'd end up back at normal compact PCC length. Since the barrel is short, finding subsonic 9mm ammo won't be a problem as common standard-pressure 147gr will all be subsonic by a very safe margin. Some off-the-shelf less 9mm loads with lighter bullets will also be subsonic.

    If I can put a can on it I’d consider it, but I suppressed that’s a ton of muzzle flash way to close to my face.

    The integrated muzzle brake kills it for me. I’d DEFINITELY only be buying this as a suppressor host. Which it would be a fucking great one I bet!!!! Even if you make a proprietary can for it that’s still a killer.

    It’s fantastic. Since it’s obviously semi automatic for the civilian market and as a guy that has a full size P320RX (for home defense i’d buy this either as a fun gun or a primary home defence choice for my novice wife. Safer to shoot and easier to keep on target.

    Permanent muzzle brake? Should've integrally suppressed it instead, then i might actually see a reason for buying this.

    Looks pretty neat, but at that point why not just get a traditional pistol? You can conceal carry those and the barrel length is basically the same, I guess ergonomics would be nicer

  • @xxxlonewolf49
    @xxxlonewolf49 6 лет назад

    Interesting idea, but the price? For a pistol?
    I will GUESS (never assume) there will be other barrels or even some waste of $$$ proprietary suppressor for this?
    Still...the base price is a bit much, for a pistol.

    I want a threaded barrel and a much lower price. Why would it be so expensive other than being the newest thing? It's nothing revolutionary, just a remixed design.
