7-Eleven Inspired Taquitos with HomemadeTortilla Shell Recipe!

These taquitos are inspired by 7-Eleven's taquitos. I think my tortilla shell recipe is pretty similar to theirs. Please give it a try and let me know how it turns out!

You will need to:
Combine and mix:
2 cups of flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp of sugar
Next, Cut in:
2 Tbsp shortening
Then, Add in:
3/4 cups warm water
Mix into dough. Knead for 5 minutes. Set aside
Now for the filling. Combine and mix:
8 oz Cream Cheese (1 packet)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
3 Tbsp jalapenos, chopped
1 cup (pepper jack) cheese
1/4 cup cooked chicken
Cut dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll out each piece into rectangular shapes and fill each with 1/12th of filling. Roll each into a taquito and deep or pan fry each until golden brown or desired color.
