- Lola's siblings came to join us at the sanctuary! In the span of 4 weeks we have gone from one to five coatis! We introduced them all to the new enclosure, and we certainly have our hands full!

You guys are doing great work for all of these animals!
What a nice enclosure they are so lucky to have you both.
You are so kind
Amazing job! All the creatures who end up in your care are so fortunate.
You guys are so cute together
The enclosure looks wonderful! All the babies are so cute!
You guys are doing a great job. I love watching you guys video. I love while animals keep up the great work.
Great enclosure ❤️
Such a great enclosure guys! your video about these cute but NOT too cute critters was very important! In the beginning I thought you two had finally lost your collective minds. And then...I caught on and became very interested in your message. I hope the right people saw that Video.
With all the trees surrounding it and the sun shining in, it's a beautiful, serene enclosure. The perfect coati preschool😂💚
you guys are so super amazing people- i absolutely love and adore you guys and what huge hearts you have for wildlife. You both literally put your hearts and souls into each animal that is lucky enough to come into your care and everybody is just living their best life. you are doing such amazing work and i look up to you so much!! Please keep doing what you are doing because you guys are one of the absolute best people in this rescue world. Steve Irwin would be so proud of the both of you!!
They are such intelligent animals and so fun to watch....into everything! So you are right to give them lots of things to climb on and play with, in addition to that large space. This will be really fun to continue to see in the future.....thanks, you guys!
Well done, what a fantastic home you've made for them, so deserving, amazing gang you have there.
Awww there curious?? There adorable and you two are doing a fantastic job.
Happy friday chris and gabby
That's so awesome guys! ❤
There is no such thing as too friendly ❤😍🥰
You say that until they try to stick their noses in your ear and mouth 😂😂😂
That enclosure looks great .
Just wanted to send some love for the "coatifications" joke. ❤😄
This is way better than zoo quality. Ya'll put all your personal experiences into it and the inspiration is a zoo like atmosphere but with your own touches.
These animals are so lucky to get to live out their lives at your sanctuary! I don’t know who I’m happier for you or them 🤷🏻♀️
We have these guys in Arizona...cool critters. Great enclosure
Wow... well they certainly are warm to you folk.
I am loving the Enclosure btw.
U guys did a awesome job for them and their habitat looking great*
Thanks !
@@FloridasWildest your welcome and hope to more awesome amazing habitat
Wild looking back just 5 months ago with how much progress you guys have made
I wouldn't mind living in that enclosure
Beautiful! I’m glad the other Coati parents, who clearly cared very much for them, sent them here.
They look like they’re adjusting very well, and I think that speaks volumes of the good homes they came from.
Animals are the best supervisors! 😂
Awesome content guys !! 😊.
Keep up the great videos. 🇦🇺
I don't what anyone says or thinks you guys are doing an amazing job that's a Coatimundi paradise
OMG Cuteness Overload right there love them all that cage is an epic way to go both of you amazing jobb
They are so stinking cute and gabby I love your boots girl. I hope you both have a fantastic weekend
Coatimundis !! First time I've seen one or many as you two own. They are awesome ! Just bought a home in Sebastian and thinking you and your saved animal enclosure isn't far so I can check it out !!!
So awesome to see all of them together. Their enclosure is incredible. They are such unique animals. Thanks guys
I like that you've increased the surface area with all the platforms
Hyperkinetic murder mittens! Proof that cuteness can be deceptive, lol. They are so intelligent, too. Beautiful enclosure…wish all animals in captivity received this kind of care!
The enclosure is very nice.May I suggest putting washers on the screws so they don’t pull out in time.
7:50 sweet moves! +5 to acrobatics
What great personalities they have!!
I always heard they were a little mean!
Now I know differently!
They usually are! Most exotics are once they hit sexual maturity.
@@FloridasWildest interesting!
With Casper being the exception!
(just watched your video where you said he would be glad to eat you)
Awesome enclosure Chris and Gabby! The Coati’s are living their best life for captivity now. I’m glad you were able to rescue them and that they all get along! ❤
Love your boots Gabby. Super cute.
Such an amazing enclosure! I love how you gave them so much enrichment. They are all super cute.
The enclosure looks great. You are doing wonderful things for them.
❤❤
What an amazing enclosure! Its bigger and better than some zoo's. Great job you two. Your dedication to providing these exotics w as good of a life as possible in captivating is obvious. Well done.
Thats funny yall ended up saying the same thing. ❤
Really enjoy getting to see your awesome enclosures. These coatis are set to live the good life!
❤
I knew that was Lola!!!!!!
Sure hope they get along the new 3 seem so sweet hope Lilly and Lola can get along with the new 3
I loved this, what adorable animals, I must confess I have never heard of this animal before. They look like a kind of Meercat. They are so lovely and friendly., especially with their long snouts .and their lovey dense fur. How wonderful you have given a very special home .xx
wow..these animals look like they would take constant stimulation...exploring everything....feel you would have to redecorate moving things around their enclosure ...weekly
Lot's of enrichment always to help stimulate them!
You could also use just little leftover scraps of the two by fours to just screw in the boards on tbe platforms where they try to climb but cant. Like a homemade ladder...Hopefully you can understand what i mean.
That cage looks really nice. They look cute and scary at same time. 😂
Coatis remind me of Moomins, check out moomins if you agree!
Nice to see that only one of your silly cats is trying to kill you and the rest is actually super friendly
Love it 😊
I love that the new ones are sweet and trustworthy! Perhaps some day you can use them for education. Enjoyed the video!
If I lived in Florida I would try to get a pair of clouded leopards. That is a assume enclosure
That looks great! Good job.
Can it be that Lili is the boss of the group and is defensive towards you guys and that is the reason for her aggressive behavior?
Is it doable to just throw their food into the enclosure, spread out, so they have to search and forage for it? Like it's their natural behavior?
Maybe try it out with raisins or places of fruit....it also keeps them busy.
Did you give thought to 'plant' different scents, like cinnamon or basil, on something in there? So they can keep themselves busy.
Is the male spayed?
Maybe an idea: take a log and drill a lot of different size holes in it. Put in some some treats sometimes and let them go for it....maybe a job for a volunteer....
It’s so cool to see their enclosure evolve! And wow Lola’s siblings are all so cute and seem so sweet. I’m really happy for them and for you that you’re able to provide this for them.
For the shelters, you may want to switch to a straw bedding. Hay holds in moisture so it gets moldy and doesn’t hold heat in as well. Straw will stay dry and insulates better. If it gets cooler there check out instructions for feral cat shelters. I feel they would work great for coaties!
There apparently is a straw shortage in Florida and it has been unavailable for weeks, so we have been using costal hay!
@@FloridasWildestoh nooo! I had the same problem last year in NC. A couple of TNR groups were all trying to find straw and passing it around when we did find some.
The proper codification 😂
Oh wow! Hopefully the demeanor of the new coatis will help the more aggressive one calm down a bit. If she sees yall arent a threat. Hopefully huh. 😅
I’m with you Gabi…why the high ropes…I never have to worry about those things 😂😂(5’ 1/2”)
In Costa Rica 🇨🇷
Saw More of them
A GANG
Around a Dumpster
Than in the Rain Forest😹
Guys the place is comming together great!!! Oh can we have an update on the snakes?
We actually JUST finished the reptile building!! So we will have an update soon!
@@FloridasWildest awesome!!!
ROUND THE CORNERS
ON THEIR SHELF➰
Oh they like to chew the rope
Glad the others are friendly. Hopefully being outside doesn’t bring back their aggression. Hopefully the friendly ones rub off on the aggressive one.
Hi folks!
Do you two ever sleep?
@@ericsproutfourteen5307haha sometimes !
Wow it's like, if raised correctly a coati can be friendly and could be kept by a private owner? That they're not vicious animals want to attack you? Interesting
Even if raised inside, some animals still become aggressive. It happens with raccoons a LOT. Even with bottle fed babies. They are individuals and they are not pets whatsoever! That is why a lot of people get cute animals as babies, and once they start getting aggressive they get rid of them. It is a cycle and education is the key here. We try to tell people why they should not purchase exotic and wild animals as pets with the intentions of them acting like a dog.
That enclosure is phenomenal! Question about the Coati’s. They all seem like they’re very well fed. I’m wondering if they’re a little overweight from where they lived previously related to inactivity (small enclosures) or if this is a normal size for them?
I think maybe a teenie bit chunky, but it is winter!
@@FloridasWildestwhat do they eat in the wild?
They are omnivorous, pretty much anything!
Where did you get the rope? Also the fencing please?
It was donated, it came wrapped around a big barrel. We haven’t been able to find rope this thick. The wire is from a special distributer in Jacksonville
What do they eat?
Hi, coatis as coworker not a good idea 😂
I see that the enclosure is not completely covered, is it voluntary to let the coatis enjoy a good soak ?
We left parts open, so if they want to sit in the rain, they can
@@FloridasWildest
Thanks 😁
Are Lola and her siblings fully grown?
Yes!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing. Tyler Nolan has a baby coati. Girlfriend wanted it but now 1 of his favorite animals
Griselda, coco and blanco? …… I’m interested to know who gave these to you? LMAO
