Hi, you pointed out the ribbons for the scanner. I was cleaning the print heads, I think is what it's called. I have an Epson ET 2803. My lod fell and cause a ribbon to come loose, so the printer isn't working. Do you have a video on how to fix it or reconnect it?
I have a Epson ecotank 2720 and it will grab paper and pull it In but doesn't take it all the way down to print on the paper, and it will either start printing or say paper jam. I have looked and I don't see anything stuck in it what could it be? When it does take it down I can push it forward some and it will print just not properly
I’ve used this video so many times to fix this 2720 printer! I’ve now replaced it….do you want it? It’s only reading as a paper jam, but I’ve taken it apart and cannot find it at all. Nothing else is wrong with it- would be good use for parts!
Thank you for your wonderful video. My husband opened the top up to high and the ribbon cables came disconnected. I don’t know where to reconnect them or how’s can you help me ?
No, the side cover does not simply snap off. You have to remove the two black Phillips head screws from the front in order to tilt up the scanner assembly first. Otherwise you will break the black alignment pins that secure the side cover. Also, what Roger points to as the power input is actually the USB port.
Side cover snaps off after you remove the front screws. You would not have access if you didn't. I pointed to the power input, which happens to be adjacent to the USB port
I have an Epson 2720 that I "converted" to sublimation as well. My black ink tank on the front shows empty however it will not take ink. when I pop the ink bottle onto it ink just leaks out the bottom. What would you recommend looking out/fixing? Please help! I desperately need to get my printer back working. I have NOT taken it apart because I'm scared to get into it with out a tutorial LOL. The only thing i've tried is the nozzle and head cleaning (And when it prints the test sheet nothing is on it.) It will not let me do a power clean. I've only had the printer for maybe a year and half. It is not throwing any error codes or anything. Black ink just will not flow into the tank. Should i just try shakin' her first?

i found little tiny square pads inside my printer i have no clue where they are supposed to go. they are full of ink and i just dont see where they belong. (my printer is working without) do you have the slightest idea where they go?
There are two screws in the front. After removing, the scanner assembly will tilt up. Don't go too far or the rear hinges will break and you may unplug the scanner cables from the mainboard.
Not familiar with that model, but others I have worked on have different "size" ribbon cables that will not fit into the incorrect holder. Just don't install upside down...........
