I thought this was a great interview. I love Larry's last quote, "It's a great start." I've had the pleasure of being at the Burn these last 4 years, and every year I say ,"That was awesome, almost as good as the next one." There is so much out there about Burningman, and there are as many ways to look at the event as there are participants. I hope everyone who goes this year has a great burn, and I hope that everyone who has been can remember all the wonderful things they experienced and valuable lessons learned while on the playa.
Watching this in 2023 hits different
It's kind of eerie, isn't it.
this was a great video and Larry it is a GREAT start with no finish!!!!
This is a great interview and Larry's hair looks amazing!
I can see the interviewer is puzzled. I have learned that trying to describe Burning Man to someone who has never been there can be puzzling to whom you are are trying to describe it. The only way you can comprehend what Larry is describing is to take a chance and go to a Burning Man, and experience it.
I have spent the entire week at Burning Man last year and going back this year.
I am amazed about this phenomena of Burningman! Giving and receiving food and other material things without money to be involved its getting our spiritual level to be upgrade to the higher level. Giving and receiving love, compassion, creativity, friendship, fun without any agenda behind it. it's ...... well I can say it's a God's gift!
Burning things that may represent your negative memories or trapped negative emotions, believes it is a great technique that available to set your self free from negativity and destruction. And all of this in the form of play! Super! I love it!
I hope that this festival can build a "critical mass" in the global consciousness to turn humanity destructive patterns to become spiritual nation. Happy nation! Loving nation!

didn't expect a return BUT LOOK at the return. never did they have a marketing plan
Good interview. Looking forward to seeing what happens now that Burning Man itself has been given as a gift.
"real community come from a shared struggle to survive"
and burn everything down, apparently.
centralize and decentralize is the key...we are the creators of the emerging content
I agree that BM may be an extension of the past, but it is very much about the immediacy of the moment and carrying that moment into peoples futures. In that regard, it is nostalgic if you wish, but more about the now.
the what video thats going to be released?
Who is anyone to say what an interview is not? I think this is brilliantly different.
We are doing this in downtown las vegas .... watch us
Sounds great, sadly SF is the antithesis of sharing and inclusion now though
I've never seen Larry stutter this bad. Maybe the hat did have magic powers
37:00 10 Principles applied
An interview is not a series of thrusts and parries. The host of LeWeb needs to take a course in the art of conversation.
I am baffled on why the french man is doing the interviewing of Larry.
21:55 or does he? and is he probing.... sorry im far gone and posting as im watching.
I think the interviewer is probing perhaps a little too deep for his liking.
Larry looks baffled by the french man
It kind of looks like he'd gotten cornered by Mr. Frog.
no hat?
too awkward... I turned it off at 5 minutes. It's like watching a game of catch between two people who can't throw a ball.
The type of questions, and the way they were asked to Larry, made me feel very uncomfortable. No wonder he stuttered so much. Very strange and awkward.
Who is this interviewer? Weak? He blue an extraordinary opportunity. Thank goodness Larry is Larry .
the frenchman don't get it.
Actually, I kind of think he does, and that's the 'problem', according to Larry.
What is wrong with that interviewer? He doesn't seem to understand the culture of Burning Man.
What is the fundamental thing that everyone is expected to understand right off the bat?
what a train wreck of an interview. do we really have anything to learn from this?
Go to Burning Man.
wow, great interview, the host asks questions, does he understand the answers?
valid but no comprehension.
you either are or you are not........
