Desert Cosmonauts (Burning Man 2016)

- What is Burning Man…? It depends on who tells you, and how it’s told. It depends on whether it’s your first time or if you are a veteran, if you go alone or accompanied. It even depends on the alignment of the stars that year.
This summer, the partners of La Despensa agency, faithful attending the BM for 7 years, decided to take all their staff with them to the desert of Nevada. And as it seemed that there was some more room in the 11 caravans that went to Black Rock City, they decided to invite some more crew to share this adventure with them. Thus I was fortunate to join the group of 51 cosmonauts and tell, with my little camera, how was the experience. Prepare paella in the desert, surviving sandstorms, find the Mayan Warrior at night at La Playa, watching sunrise and sunset and confuse both, feel the magic and energy in the same way that I feel the heat of the sun or cold of the night. ¿Qué es el Burning Man? ...pues depende de quién lo cuente y cómo lo cuente. Depende de si es tu primera vez o si eres un veterano; si vas solo o acompañado. Depende incluso de la alineación de los astros de ese año.
Este verano, los socios de la agencia La Despensa, fieles asistentes al BM desde hace 7 años, decidieron llevarse a todo su staff con ellos al desierto de Nevada. First of all, props for your unique view point from my perspective. I love your work, from the personal interviews to the actual professional documentary style layout, and I've only watched it once:)) I'll probably go into this well a few more times, it seems pretty deep:)) And I should mention that I went to BM in '09 and haven't been back since, but this looked like an EPIC Burn!! Beautiful film! Thank you! (I just came back from my first Burn and was incredible- incredibly intense, incredibly overwhelming, incredibly beautiful and incredibly rewarding! May I ask which camera/lens you shot with and how did you cope with the dust? I didn't bring my DSLR to avoid messing it up in the dust but would like to next time.. Muchas gracias!

Creo que lo mejor es ir en grupo, aunque no hace falta un grupo tan numeroso. Que sea un grupo mayor o menor, ya es muy personal, lo importante es estar bien avenido.
Saber inglés ayuda y hace la experiencia más completa, pero hay muchas formas de comunicarse, y muchos que hablan español. Yo no dejaría de ir por eso.
