My son is a great kid, but also a great barometer of my wardrobe feels. If I make an effort he always smiles and says, “oh, you’re being a fancy lady today!” I feel like it’s important that we make an effort-not everyday, but when we can and it’s possible- to show ourselves and others we care for that we matter; particularly now when it’s so easy to opt for comfy working from home. It’s not vanity, it’s self-care and love. It teaches others who matter to us that we are worth the effort 😌

Love these ideas! Being a fair (ex) redhead, I would add that doing one’s eyebrows makes a huge difference. I always look so tired without clearly defined brows.

I have been following you from the start. I was not at all interested in jewelry and didn't had any knowledge about it but after watching your videos and literally in every Vedio you talk about jewelry, which has helped me to fall for jewelry. Now i am die hard fan of jewelry and it truly helps to enhance one's outfit even everyday causal outfit. Thnku so much for making such informative and interesting vedios.
Something else that always works for me is adding a jacket. Depending on what you’re doing that day, it could be a blazer or a cardigan for indoors or a trench or coat for outdoors. It just adds a structure to your outfit that makes it look like you tried

I don't feel comfortable wearing hats, but I love wearing all sorts of headbands. They hide messy hair and keep it out of my face on hot days, and people don't really wear them where I live, so they serve the same purpose as hats, I guess.

I'm brown skinned and it's kind of hard to differentiate between undertones. Could you make a video on how to train the eye on the undertone? Also I'm 18 and I want to dress better and sophisticated but youthful. I always watch your videos before I go shopping for new clothe.

Just curious, how much time do you spend on your outfits in the morning? :) Do you ever have those trial-and-error kinda mornings where you struggle to find the right outfit combo for the day? I get that a lot 😬
It certainly takes thought on what looks intentional, but the more your wardrobe supports you the easier it is ✨
I know this question is not directed to me but I want to share my experience here as I'm a very sleepy person & definitely not a morning person.
I always put together my outfits & iron them in the night. So, in the morning it's always easier. When I don't do that, I come up with my outfit when I'm in Washroom. I ask myself some specific questions that help me. They are ; how much time I have left?! so that I know how much time I have to iron my clothes ; If I have less time I go for jeans & shirts so that I only have to iron my shirt.
What color I want to wear today?!
What style I want to wear today?!
Is there anything specific I want to wear?
If yes then I try to build an outfit around that piece.
Also, I try to spare some time during my weekends & put together & iron a bunch of outfits to keep me going throughout the week.
I tend to pick out my outfit the night before right before I sleep 😴 saves me energy in the morning 😹
These tips are simple but impactful! 💖 About styling the hair in those days, something I do because my hair is very long is to go for a chic low bun or a high ponytail (the slight "lifting" effect instantly disguises the tiredness), and also sunglasses if the day is bright enough and no matter the season.

A tailor is a petites best friend when it comes to style. This way we aren’t limited to specific sections or brands.

Choosing a shirt (such as an embellished top) where you don't have to wear a wired bra (or a bra at all if you're small enough) is also a good hack... I try to only purchase shirts that don't require bras underneath now.

Can you please do outfits in winter? I dont know how to wear a dress in winter. We usually have fancy dinners, in church and also december is month of my wedding anniversary so we go to nice fine dining. I look so sloppy since i just bundle up during winter months. Great tips, very useful video! Just curious, in the us is it acceptable to keep hats indoors? I often found this advice to use hats, but in many places it is considered disrespectful. Surely it is a cultural fact, but it would seem very strange to me to see someone with a hat in an office
Hi Daniela, traditionally it is acceptable for a woman to wear a hat indoors but men are supposed to take them off, according to Nick Fouquet. If a woman’s hat is obstructing someone’s view then do take it off. Office culture usually comes with a dress code that should specify. But overall I think it’s a dated “rule” 👍
