Another super-flattering tip for boot-cut, cigarette, or flared pants is to hem them on a slant when you're shortening them (the likes of us always have to shorten pants!). Shorter in the front so that they don't "break", longer at the back to extend the line as far as possible.

I’ve been following along since the start of your personal style journey, and I just want to request that you please not delete any more of your earlier videos, they are still so inspirational and helpful to me! I refer to them for outfit inspiration all time. I completely understand that your personal style has somewhat changed to a more luxe, trendy, and modern style, and I’m happy for you! But I personally still strongly identify with the more booky, artsy, vintage but minimal/neutral vibes of your earlier days. I also really enjoyed your short look book dance videos with just music and several looks with a theme, I hope you bring those back! I would still enjoy them even though our style doesn’t align as much anymore. Those videos were so fun, and they were great for people with capsules because of their mix, match, repeat structure. Just wanted to give some honest feedback and say thanks for all the inspirational content!

Great video. I know so many people that avoid cropped trousers for fear of them making them appear shorter but in fact they can actually lengthen the leg as you demonstrated so beautifully! 💕
As an older woman who has been short for a long time I have to thank you for your videos as I always wondered why sometimes I seemed to look shorter and fatter in some outfits lol I now know why ...thank for the shoe colour tips x
My friends keeps calling me short because he is 7'0 ft ...i'm 5 ft ..you are lucky if you are a girl but have long legs.. i cant even reach my own clothes in my wardrobe
Unfortunately I just haven't a nice butt to wear high rised jeans and combining it with cropped shirts or put shirts into the jeans :'(
Your videos have been helping me so much. I'm 5'1 and always kind of ignored petite styling because I had the false impression that the petite section of stores was very "old lady" or "business woman". I rarely found pieces that reflected my personal style. I love using crop tops and cropped jeans to look more well proportioned and tall... not to mention huge platform boots! I wear mostly black and platforms really suit a darker style :)
The scoop neck tip is spot on!! I have a scoop neck body suit that looks great on me and it never occurred to me that I should get some more blouses with that neckline. Seeing you model them definitely made it click for me. Great video, thank you 😊

I've love to know your shopping process when you buy items not specifically tailored to petites - what you see in an item that means you know it will still fit or with a few tailor tweaks will look great. Also I've never bought anything from rouje so a review of the brand would be fab.
