Shoes with pointed toes Comment below if there's any tips I may have missed! :)
I don't know if she mentioned this but I saw her do this with the long-sleeve striped top, she rolled the sleeves up so that it shows a part of her arms. I'm also petite and I do this often, which I find kinda elongates you instead of the long-sleeve "eating up" your frame.
I’m only 5 flat and all my 20s I went without knowing these tricks, now I go shopping I feel so confident and excited to try clothes and see what difference it makes. Ladies remember, if you’re on the shorter side being at a healthy weight for you height is also so so so helpful.
I'm 5'3 and just published my "HOW TO LOOK TALLER" video with 10 styling tips on my channel ;) I would very much appreciate your feedback if you have a minute 💕

"I really feel fashion as a form of makeup" is interesting to me because as a makeup lover I only recently gotten into fashion (your videos help sooo much!) And realized how fun and how much similarities fashion has to wearing makeup and how they both have a "theory". Basically the same reasons I love makeup is the same reasons Ive enjoyed looking into fashion recently.
Please keep making these videos!! I’m 5’2” with very similar proportions to yours and I absolutely LOVE your styling tips!! You have given me so much confidence in my body and I can’t thank you enough 🥰
Bethany, I am in my mid 30s and it wasn't until this last year and a half of watching you that I figured out why I looked so frumpy in regular clothing. Honestly, I wasn't even shopping petite and we have the SAME measurements. It makes so much sense and I look so much better that people think I've lost weight. Thank you for hacking our shape and size!
You are amazing! I have the same body type (5’2) and I am SO happy to see someone with the same body type sharing fashion advice. I really appreciate how you’re not following trends either!
I'm looking to make changes in my life, and I'm so digging your channel. I'm super petite (4'8"), so clothes have always been troubling to me, i.e., I never paid attention to my wardrobe because I'd get overwhelmed and knew n o t h i n g about fashion. Love the info in this vid. :)
Love this. Your editing is so smooth as well. Such an enjoyable video. You just emanate integrity, Bethany. You give your all to your videos and it shows.
Usually everyone guesses me to be around 5’6 even though I’m only 5’4, the thing is I’m always in black and high wasted pants or high wasted leggings. It really makes a difference!
Thank God I found you! We have the same body type and I'm 4'11. I really want to look taller and I already learned so much from you by just watching 2 of your videos. Thank youuu!
Hi, Bethany! I’m 67 and have recently lost over 30 lbs. so besides being smaller, I have shrunk 2 inches in height! 😣😩 I absolutely LOVE your tips. You have an incredible eye for the visual effect of different styles. Although I am apple shaped, I will definitely be incorporating your suggestions…new, happy subscriber! Keep up the great work, and THANK YOU! ☺️

Arab Suho I find that coats that fit quite slim and hit mid calf look really nice. High waisted skirts of the same length look great as well. I’m 4’9” and it gives a really nice long line. But id never wear like, an oversized men’s wool coat, even if it was shorter than the midi length coat.

Im 5’8 aswel but i just feel that some types of jeans really make my legs look so short/out or proportion with the rest of my body! Maybe thats just me haha
Being a taller girl (5’11”) who loves being tall, these are great tips. I have a long torso, so all the high-waisted pants are must haves. Cropped tops are sometimes too short for me, but rolling or tucking a regular top is perfect. Thanks for sharing these tips and your style with us.
I have same height and body shape as yours. And these tips help a lot. One thing I have been doing for years is having high waist jeans or bottoms and tucking in the top. The most outstanding tip was using same color for torso and legs, it does give an illusion of being tall. Thank you for all the advice ❤️
@@angel79nunn girl trust me you are tall enough. I'm 5' and I am so insecure about my height as people don't take me seriously. It is the sole reason i have denied so many relationships.

I love your videos because you are not only super informative, but also have the most soothing speaking voice. It's also great to have someone who understands the petite struggle and gives tips and advice specifically about this. The first video I saw of yours that attracted me to your channel was the one where you talked about the different ways to look and come off as more your age. I'm 5'. Your channel is an absolute goldmine - can't wait to try all these tips out! I've been tucking in shirts and wearing black jeans for years, so I guess I'm halfway there haha

Appleseed's has a great selection of classics with modern twist, catalog is free! Also nice hairstyles, accessory ideas. I'm a mature petite Grandma. April Cornell has some beautiful comfortable feminine dresses etc, too pricey for me but her styles are easy to sew from preowned/vintage jumper patterns with embellishments.
I never used to tuck in my tops as I felt it would make me look boyish since only they tuck their shirts. but after watching your videos I tried tucking them in and I changed my looks for the better also I never bought tees though I liked some of the prints because I like to dress super girly as the tomboyish look doesn't suit me , and once again changed my life. Wonderful advice as always. I am wondering tho, how would you style the oversize jacket? I have a very similar one that I loove cause its so cozy and warm, but I look HUGE lol
I needed this video. I have a pear shaped body and I’ve never liked how I looked in clothes because I don’t know how to put outfits together that go with my shape. Thank you so much for making videos like this 💕 I feel more confident shopping now.
I just realised... I'm 5'9" and I've been wearing clothes that make me taller my whole life... smh no wonder that everyone tells me "OmG yOu ArE sOOOO taLL!"
I just want to add that pointed shoes are great for people with small feet. I'm 5'3 with size 5 feet and when I wear round or square toed shoes my feet just look ridiculously out of proportion. The added inch from the pointed toe just makes my whole look more elegant and less childlike. If you have really big feet comparing to your height then almond toe and square toe will look amazing without making the feet look huge
Im petite and wore oversized sweaters... many told me that it doesn't look good on me. I went back to tight fitting clothes and now I look better hhaha
I just discovered your video and your channel, and immediately subscribed to your channel. I really appreciate how you made very incremental changes to each outfit and improved each look progressively. It really helps me train my eye so that I can learn to see the issues and how to fix them. Many comparable styling videos make such drastic changes to the outfits in one big leap that there is very little similarity between the initial and final look. This often makes me feel like the only way to look better is to get a whole new wardrobe. lol. Thank you for this wonderfully helpful video. I’m 5 feet tall with extremely long torso and super short legs. I look forward to looking through other videos in your channel.
Thank. You. For. EXISTING! I'm 5'1" as well, I'm sooooo glad someone out there actually knows how to dress to look tall. So thankful for you!❤ Also my boyfriend is 6'3" soooo...help is needed😂or I look like a child with him.
Girl you and me could be soul mates or body mates. That sounds weird but I do these stuff whenever I needed to impress ya know. Coz the problem with us petite women is that we look fat if we dont showcase our curves. So people usually ask me if I lost weight if I flaunt my curves. Anyway, this is a lot more accurate than me doing these things subconciously. Great video! Keep up the good work girl!
I'm 5'3" tall, I have shorter torso, thicker bums, longer thighs, shorter calves (they are the same length with those of my friend who is only 5'1"), bigger head, and shorter neck. I tried to tuck in my shirt, but ended up looking like a walking pin with a big head.
Thanks for the tip, especially, for the skin tone and pointed flat shoes! I love flat shoes, but I seldom wear them because I am so petite. Now, I'll try them!
Hi Bethany! I really love your videos and being subscribed to your channel. You always create high quality content. I want to say how appreciative I am for being able to have someone with a similar body type teach me how to highlight my curves and show off my shape using classic colors and a refreshing style. 😊
I have a short torso, I learned that recently thanks to your videos and Jenny Mustards'. High rise jeans look so weird on me, medium rises actually fit me as high waisted jeans do on people with proportions similar to yours.

Me too sis, don't worry hahaha
I needed this video. I have a pear shaped body and I’ve never liked how I looked in clothes because I don’t know how to put outfits together that go with my shape. Thank you so much for making videos like this 💕 I feel more confident shopping now.
I just realised... I'm 5'9" and I've been wearing clothes that make me taller my whole life... smh no wonder that everyone tells me "OmG yOu ArE sOOOO taLL!"
Zofia Grzonkowska same girl same 😂😂 Im 5'10" and people go.. no you are not 5'10" you are taller.. excuse me .. I think I know my own height 🙄😂
I died when you added Alexa saying "nobody said jeans were comfortable... it´s a lie" i love her so much lmao
You are greeeat!!!!!! I admire how unique your videos are nowdays when everyone can be youtuber. Great job!
Thank. You. For. EXISTING! I'm 5'1" as well, I'm sooooo glad someone out there actually knows how to dress to look tall. So thankful for you!❤
Also my boyfriend is 6'3" soooo...help is needed😂or I look like a child with him.
I tried to tuck in my shirt, but ended up looking like a walking pin with a big head.
im the same ! 😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣......you still look beautiful
Thanks for the tip, especially, for the skin tone and pointed flat shoes! I love flat shoes, but I seldom wear them because I am so petite. Now, I'll try them!
I have long legs and short torso, but I’m still short and look short, how is that possible
I'm 5'7 and LOVE these videos! never stop
Hi Bethany! I really love your videos and being subscribed to your channel. You always create high quality content. I want to say how appreciative I am for being able to have someone with a similar body type teach me how to highlight my curves and show off my shape using classic colors and a refreshing style. 😊
Your video production quality is unbelievable. Well done!
I am filipina and my height is 4"11

Proud to be a Filipina. Love lots from Philippines
I have a short torso, I learned that recently thanks to your videos and Jenny Mustards'. High rise jeans look so weird on me, medium rises actually fit me as high waisted jeans do on people with proportions similar to yours.
Thank you! Yes looking forward for more of taller video
I’m just in love wid ur tips, the way u talk n everything nd u r just gorgeous 😍❣️ thank u
I'm 5 foot 2 you look taller than me, Anyone feel like a midget sometimes when out it's horrible, great tips I will definitely be using them.xxxxx
I agree
I'm 5'2" as well and where I live (India), I'm considered average height 🙈
@@versatilecraft interesting. Not in the USA I am constantly being told how short I am. 🥵
