As a teen boy, I do watch your videos which inspire me how to dress well and combining my existing wardrobe to make a new outfit. Since I watch your videos, I feel positive, even more confident, and comfortable with my own body. I feel worthy to express myself the way I’m.
Your videos are so professional and inspiring, thank you. Some years back, under the guidance of an image coach, I proceeded to your Advice #1: I brought several business suits to a tailor, who slightly shortened the pants, and made the sleeves slimmer. All of a sudden, my suits transformed from "old conservative lady" to young and trendy. Also, I had the cheap plastic buttons from a gilet removed, and put instead more luxurious ones = small change but big effect on the garment!

I would love to see a video from you about what you ask for at the tailor, how to approach the whole process, etc etc. Would be super helpful for those of us that haven't been before and are intimidated by the process!

I wasn’t a big sneaker person but I bought neutral new balance 574 and I am OBSESSED and totally understand the hype. My feet are wide and anything tight causes inflammation and I’ve learned that sneakers feel best.

I love this! Been on my personal style journey for 9 months-ish, and I can attest to the power of elevated basics! As a mom of 3 kids 4 and under, everything I wear HAS to be practical. Bethany, i fully agreed about tailoring, i loved it. I started to tailored my dresses, skirts and few gowns two years ago it makes a huge difference, an impact and i got compliments from my friends & family. I'm so happy and more confident once i got my perfect size, fit and my own design or style that i love, as I am a petite lady.💗💗💗

In 2022 one of my resolution is to redefine my style the one person who motivated me to do this is Bethany I love to know the guidelines you give and the tips they really helped me shop so mindfully the items I buy now make me feel more confident because heck I made a great decision it reflects on my day and can I tell you how much i appreciate your advice about tailoring now! I just had a pair of trousers tailor made for my exact proportions(fellow petite pear shaped here buying trousers used to be such a chore) but now that I got my perfect pair made for me it makes me feel so confident when I put it on i love it so much you have to listen to Bethany when she says tailoring is great i did it it seriously gave my wadrobe a new life overall thank you Bethany for helping me with these tips I can keep gushing on and on about how much you have helped me thank you once again

Could you please make one of work out clothes? I’m curious what your thoughts are about that. Also, any inside about outdoor/hiking options? Hi! It depends on how timeless the piece is, how well I take care of that specific type of piece, how long my previous pieces lasted that were similar, what activities I planned to wear it for. Just a general estimate.
Hi Bethany! My favorite tip is to tailor what I have to make my clothes fit as if they were made especially for me. Reminds me of when a seamstress made a grown up gown to fit my little body when I was in 1st grade. 🥰 This year, I want to lose the weight I gained during the pandemic. Would you please share some tips that you have learned from your nutritionist? XOXO
I love that childhood story 🥰 one trick she told me is to get fresh spinach and throw a handful in every meal! Other than that it was to always pair foods together like adding nuts to sweet potatoes so it levels the glycemic index of every meal. I would suggest going to a registered dietitian for one session to help on an individual level!

I’ve put off shopping for a while as I figure out my style & also fine tune my existing wardrobe, but my shopaholic mom insists on buying me fast fashion items that aren’t really my style. I wear them because 1. They’re free 2. They look fine on me 3. She guilt trips me if she has to return anything. At this point, my clothes/mom are really steering my style rather than me, but in the pursuit of being more mindful & purchasing higher quality/more expensive pieces takes me a bit longer. Any advice on gifts?

It's funny because this weekend I put on a pair of black jeans and a sweater and I thought through whether I was going to be "basic" with no style flair but then I thought I wanted to feel good about my vibe that day so I added a hat, necklace, loafers and a cute bag and it made all the difference in how I carried myself. Definitely a mindset shift when it comes to style!

Always, always look at cost per wear ... I've had beautiful expensive Blahniks that worked with that particular ballgown but really nothing else 😣. Two wears? Eek! But those simple mid height black pumps from Jimmy Choo? Two wears a week, fifty two weeks a year? That's an investment.
