- My neighbour Kiwi Rob was throwing out Pine Framing Timber that was used for now unwanted bedrooms . I thought I would recycle the timber by making a Work Bench for my Wood Shed and also a Table and chairs for out in the front yard. Framing timber isn't normally used for what I have made, but to me it seemed a bit of a waste that it was all going to a Rubbish Tip .
I can’t bang a nail in straight ,lol , a handyman I am not . Glad you could use the timber from your neighbour 👍 🍻
use smaller nails 🤣I was happy with the things that I made especially the work bench , I'm not the best handyman but I get a few jobs done . Thanks for watching 👍
Wow .....well done I hope you enjoy the table and chairs.. nice for romantic dinners. .just need some fairy lights and candles 🎉🎉
Haha , good idea . I bought some a while ago and haven't used them yet . I don't know about the romantic bit thou.
Nice stuff!
thank you ,and thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻
Looks great
They don't look too bad , but they will get used . That extra work bench will be very handy . Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍
I liked the colour... of the beer ;-) Cheers to a good day's work. Günter/Nürnberg PS: We had the first night below zero. Not too keen on riding now.
Beer is good in any colour as long as it it has a decent amount of alcohol in it . 🤣First night below zero ,well that's a bit cold, lucky you have a car with a nice warm heater to get around in when its cold or wet. 🤣 I don't know about over there but people are a lot happier when its warm over here. Even grumpy people know how to smile when its warmer. 😀
@@robfur No car, but the central heating does work ;-)
No car , you must be a real biker, not many of them around over here .
@@robfur That's simple in a city with 540,000 inhabitants, public transport and good walks - no need for an eight-cylinder engine to get you to the gym ;-)
👍 Génial !!
Thank you 👍
I like repurposing old lumber.still very usable.built some nice pieces with the lumber.
It gets the old brain 🧠 ticking over a bit when Im playing around with timber . I get a bit of an idea and then I try and make it. Thanks for watching 👍
@@robfur you’re welcome Sir
Nice to see bin-wood rescued & repurposed! Great result, too. I made something similar a few weeks back, but it didn't turn out as nicely as what you've done (my video editing didn't measure up to yours either)!
Cheers.
It seems a big waist all that timber going in the big bin . I was pleased I could do something with it quickly as well , otherwise it would of just moved from the bin to my wood shed and still be sitting there. Thanks for watching 👍
I watch & learn!
👍
Re-use, Re-cycle, Re-purpose! You know I love it!!!! This is the way!
You sort of get a satisfaction smile after reusing stuff bound for the bin . 😀 I'm trying to get a good vegetable garden going too , so much to learn, it is great 👍
Yes! Definitely get a huge amount of satisfaction out of repurposing etc! I feel exactly the same way! I’ve watched and we’ve chatted about the veggie garden before. Loved the time lapse on the tree cameras, how it’s terraced and the gate keeping out the critters!
@@MJLWoodWorks yes , it's only 3 months old my vegie garden , I don't know why I didn't get into it before . I'm growing seedlings for mates now , I find it interesting how 2 seedlings can go into the ground close to each other but can be totally different in size. Heaps to learn.
@@robfursomeday I may tackle a veg garden too. Keep at it! Show us the bounty when it’s harvested!
good skills Rob, great job 😊
Thanks mate , and they will both be used quite often. It's good getting free timber . Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Love it
thank you .. I thought I did a good job to get a bench and table and chairs out of it . You never know when somebody is throwing out timber , it was a good score. thanks for watching.
What a score why would you Chuck that away sure HE was a Kiwi 😁 must be a Jaffa from Auckland😁😆😂🤣.
He was moving house so a lot of his saved collection of wood was binned . I was lucky I had come across it . Thanks for watching and commenting .👍
Kiwi’s aren’t the smartest blokes😂
Nice work mate, sure you used enough screws😂😂
Haha , I was going to use nails but they start to let go after sitting outside in the weather for a while . With the screws the chairs will stay together and if they did start to loosen I can just tighten them up again. Thanks for watching and commenting, it's been a while.
Didn't put enough screws in😁😆😂🤣.
The smaller chair make another great little coffee table.
@@ruahinesriderha ha , I hate things falling apart after using them for a while . It won't be falling apart .😀
@@ruahinesrider haha , I didn't think of that , but u must like a coffee. 🤣🤣
