Honda 125 Trail and the Putt Putt Regatta
I have taken a bush track ride to the Putt Putt Regatta at Davistown on the Central Coast . It was an awesome day , I had a great ride in the bush and the Putt Putt Regatta was heaps bigger and better than expected. The old Putt Putt boats ,Markets , Classic Cars, old machinery and the Big Race all made a very enjoyable day .

D.I.Y. Ladder - Steps . So easy to make .

I have been using old milk crates to gather my fire wood and to climb up on my retaining wall . I don't have to worry about falling anymore after building these Steps - Ladder. Not hard to make and it was very cheap using treated pine sleepers.

I needed a new Dart Board line, so I thought I might get a bit creative about it, so I grabbed the big Honda CT 125 and put some rubber down . These bikes are all about having fun and that's what I do with mine ,I hope everybody else is the same .
DIY Work Bench , Table & Chairs made out of Recycled Framing Timber

My neighbour Kiwi Rob was throwing out Pine Framing Timber that was used for now unwanted bedrooms . I thought I would recycle the timber by making a Work Bench for my Wood Shed and also a Table and chairs for out in the front yard. Framing timber isn't normally used for what I have made, but to me it seemed a bit of a waste that it was all going to a Rubbish Tip .
Big Flathead on Soft Plastics in Brisbane Waters , Central Coast

After a week fishing in Lake Macquarie with no real luck I decided to give my own home on the Central coast a go in Narara creek and Brisbane Waters . It didn't take long before I was catching my share of big and little Flathead on Soft Plastics. I had a great day out .

I made a windshield for my Honda CT125 and tried it out on the Freeway for a new Speed Record . The bike went really well and was smooth, I even overtook vehicles on the Freeway plus smashing my old speed record of 108 . All you Honda Trail 125 owners will be surprised at the top speed with just the added windshield .

I've built 2 different Planter Boxes from pallets . I have planted my vegetables in them and plan to make a few more planter boxes for some more vegetables . It was a great DIY project and a lot of fun and the $0 cost was a bonus.

I had a great ride on my little Honda Trail 125 . I started out on a little single dirt track and ended up seeing Whales , Dolphins and a Kite Festival which was part of the 5 Lands Walk that was held on the Central Coast . I even got another Beer for my Beer Bottle collection .

These chairs have a lot of names , but as far as I know they were first made in Africa . I have been going to make one of these for a while and when I was given the unwanted bit timber I thought it was time to do a bit of woodwork .

I took the little Honda CT 125 on a long sand ride to a Nude Beach , I did some body boarding watched the surfing competition at One Mile Beach . Had a ride to Boat Harbour and also saw some Koalas . It was a great little adventure .

A bit of a ride with a difference. I went bush and left the bike and walked to the unknown Hieroglyphic site . It was a very hot day so I then rode to an old haunted Tunnel from the 1800s that sits besides a nice clear creek , so of course I had to have a swim.

I went for a ride on my MTB / Bush Walk in Brisbane Waters National Park and found the Waterfall Pool and also climbed a Mountain . I haven't used my Mongoose mountain bike for years , this time I just took my time and enjoyed the scenery . The Central Coast has some spectacular sites to see.

People have asked me about my Motor bike Rack on the back of my RV (motor home). So I decided to make up a little video on it . I carry Mountain Bikes , Motor Bikes (Honda CT 125) and my Kayak . Its a Ballards Motor Bike rack from Australia but there are similar racks around if you are after one.

Haha .. I'm very happy with the speed of the CT 125 after riding the CT 110 for 20 plus years.
Is the angle on the seat part a 45 ?
I didn't measure it , but if it's a tight fit it would be a 45, but if the hole was a bit bigger I guess there would be more slack, so that would make it a bigger angle .
Oh ok, got it . But I meant the angle on the seat piece of the board that sits back on the ground . On the video it shows that you cut an angle on the board so it lays on the ground more evenly. Thanks for the feedback.

@@noble_roots_customs I just put the seat together and marked what i thought needed cutting off so it sits flat , I can't remember if I got the angle right first go but the belt sander would of got it right in the end . Sorry I can't be more helpful mate . I sort of just work things out as I go with most projects .

About 3 inches ... I'm glad I saved it from the rubbish 🗑 pile

This little bike will give you all the adventure you dream about and some more. Even with two people this will take you anywhere. I hear people say that going two-up you need at least 650cc... They are wrong. Great video!
The CT Hondas are great bikes , the 125 is the best though . I wouldn't be traveling 2 up too far on one , but 1 up they are more than capable of going anywhere . I have a lot of fun on it ,that's for sure . thanks for watching and commenting . 👍
Man, this is WAY too good! Great video, great bike - I feel like it's unavoidable now for me - I'll have to buy Trail 125! The video captured the feeling of the ultimate freedom with a small "go anywhere" bike. Nice one!

Hi! Great excursion! Thanks a lot for sharing. It was always a dream of mine to see some rock engravings. We have some of them in Northen Russia. But all of them are situated in the places which are very hard to reach. It is really surprising that you can find six sites so easily nearby. I think this is the coolest episod of all I've already watched. Thanks for your effort. PS The checkered shirt is awesome)
There is a lot more sites around but most are over grown and it's a bit hard to make anything out . It's always a good feeling walking around looking at sites like these .I have other videos of some different sites on my channel , even the one that I was trying to find at the end of that video , they are all together in a different playlist if you are interested , no 125 motorbike thou . The Brush Turkey was a bonus , I didn't know he was there until I looked at my camera . A lot a people go on about the low gearing of the old Honda CT but I've ridden them and still don't know what all the fuss is about. These little Honda trails 125 crawl up steep hills good enough for me, they are only a 125 .

Thanks for your interest mate, but no it's just a bit of fun . I wouldn't mind having another go at my T7 thou , I might try and make one a bit wider to see if that helps stop the buffeting.

Those are some accurate models.... besides the black spokes . Now you should paint those silver 😉
When I was making the model, there were some parts on the model that I hadn't noticed on my own bike , and when I checked my bike sure enough, they were there.

Same here! I got mine in 2022. I am in upstate NY and it's been warm enough to take it out but there to much salt on the roads.

They are a great bike , it could be a little bit faster but after riding the CT90 and CT110 for 40 years it was a great feeling getting that little bit of extra HP under me . Cheers 🍻
Stupidity
The short screen looks great and sounds slightly less noisy on your video. I was so hopeful your hand crafted screen would do the trick. The buffeting on my T7 really detracts from my ride enjoyment very sensitive to wind noise in the helmet, love naked bikes with little flyscreens and the gold standard of adjustable screens on my ST1300, my mate calls it the cone of silence and I agree. I bought one of those brackets that let you adjust the original screen up in various positions it was slightly better is some positions and worse in others. I don't think the screen is not wide enough and the vortex behind it sucks wind around the screen and up through the tunnel the fork legs are in. Bugger.
I agree with all that, I actually bought some good earplugs today on ebay to try and cut out the wind noise , I think I could put up with the head moving around if it was quieter , fingers crossed 🤞
Grew up riding dirt bikes and it brings back fond memories when I watch you take the 125 on a trip. i just might have to get me a small bike like that. Thanks for the great videos!
It's a bit like a Swiss Army Knife , this bike does everything . It's a lot of fun.

No ,I never tried that , I was going too but I didn't like the look of it with out it, but I should of ... I want to try some good earplugs , if I could get rid of a lot of wind noise I might be happy with the buffeting .
There ain’t no big ones in there anymore only 35 to 36cm ones

Milk crates can be handy but they were too dangerous .. the sign says " this property is protected by Sydney Night Patrol & CO " It must be over 60 years old , but I will have to move it to another part of the wall now . Thanks for watching 😀
