Ahh not saying what you sold it for just royaly pist me off. I've been watching your subscription for months now, but that was just wrong you lost another for your click bait
you never said how much you sold this for.. you mention it in the title.. i watched the whole video to see how much u sold it for.. boy.. if that aint a cliff hanger.... disapointed
Every time I see you young guys put things on the floor, and then kneel on concrete, I LOL and say "he's gonna' have to find a new way to cut that stuff about 10 yrs from now".
0:40 An observation and a suggestions: - This looks like a 60 or 80 tooth crosscut blade, not the best for ripping (plus expensive) - I use 7-1/4" circular saw blade when doing rough work like this. The thin kerf creates less waste and rips super easy plus they're inexpensive so there's minimal financial impact if you damage one on lumber like this.
It felt like clickbait to me in that they didn't sell this even though title said "how we make so much money on these". No mention of potential price. I unsubscribed!
Howdy.... I've done this pattern multiple times myself. It gets easier and takes less time the more you do it. Did I miss something in the video? Your title says "won't believe what we sold it for". But you didn't sell it, it went in your bathroom. Am I mistaking? Did I miss a segment?
Very Nice - I use Gorilla Construction Adhesive in the field as opposed to wood glue more for production/speed, and a better bond on non-smooth surfaces. I have noticed most construction adhesives, especially Gorilla love a little pressure, especially when bonding non-smooth surfaces. Your holding for a bit when applying really helps to spread the adhesive, but on flat projects, I give them 5 minutes with any kind of weight and see huge increases in bond, and less failures.
Though I'm not a fan of the wall art, i did like the final design. I thought you were making a table at first. For all those curious, there probably isnt any money to be made with pallet wood because of the tume involved in processing it to a usable material. The amout you could sell it for wouldn't be worth the time. My opinion
I built mine tonight thanks to your video. I Just need to stain it tomorrow. Also - anyone know what the mirror hangers are I can't find those on Amazon.
Using adhesive on dirty old wood with an uneven surface and no fasteners is less likely to last long term. The underside of the wood should be planed to give a clean flat surface that can properly bond with the plywood.
I saw a neat trick on another youtuber's channel which I shall shamelessly propagate here. Where the joins are a bit rough or visible, burnish it down with light taps from a hammer before sealing it. It works as good as sawdust /glue infill and only takes seconds, especially on rougher woods like this project. Cheers for the fun video :)
I’m surprised you didn’t run the top through a planer. Those pieces are rough and of varying thicknesses but could have made a great table or cabinet top.
New woodworker here. I very much like this pattern. A ' HOW TO PRICE YOUR PROJECTS' video would help me alot -- for exampy, what is your price point on these? Thanks, I'm subscribed...
I can image a variation . . . Same board to this same level of completion. Then attach a continuous horizontal strip of those magnetic knife holders from left to right, straight down the center line. Maybe even do it with like a 3/4" strip of wood under the magnet strip, to give a bit more depth for visual interest and knuckle room when grabbing a knife. Would be a great way to display a nice set of kitchen knives while keeping them handy and sharp, and not rattling around in a drawer. You can send me a little royalty fee each time you sell one of those upgrade knife displays. (wink wink)
Hi from Australia 👋🏽 just discovered your channel & loving it, I’m so appreciative you are taking the time to share your amazing craft, you have a new subbie here, thanks once again & best of luck hitting 1 million subscribers….easy pessy 👍🏽🎉🥳🍾🥂
Thanks Lorraine! I really appreciate the support! I’ve got lots of other videos for you to catch up on 😀 Any projects you’d like to see me try in the future?
Ummm…you never said how much you sold it for. This is the last video of yours that I watch, I hate click bait. Thanks but no thanks. I want to compliment your work but I’m too mad about the click bait!
So everyone missing the fact they just showed you a technique 🤔 they obviously have down from experience and now there sharing .... who cares about the title and how you feel....thank you for sharing i think its a great video 😊
Thanks for sharing! I've been doing my first couple of mosaic pieces and using pallets as well. Did you do any jointing ahead of time? You didn't mention it, but wondered it you had any troubles with things lining up. Seems that is constantly giving me troubles. I know this was a rougher, more natural piece (which looks great btw) but have you done any others where you were looking at making it more flush? Or should I even be worrying about making mine even and flush? Probably overthinking it. Thanks again!
Great question Shannon! I don’t own a jointer but I used my table saw to get a straight edge on each piece and that was plenty straight enough for me 😀
Spencley Design Co. I prefer the rustic, not perfectly even in height, etc. Are you selling these? Also, love the wood in the back of the car. I just went to Lowe’s and had them cut a piece of plywood for me, but miscalculated a few inches and had to have it cut AGAIN to fit! 🤦♀️
In addition to wood glue, adding framing nails, deck screws, and lag bolts would be stronger still. But considering the only thing tugging on the pieces is gravity, my guess is the method they used is more than sufficient, and they still enjoyed the other benefits she mentioned in the video.
Great project! Simple and fun yet very nice piece of art. My only suggestion is that you get a RYobi P310G. It's the 18v caulking gun. It's easy to use and saves your trigger finger.
And I can't believe it, using tools us little guys use. I have that same Pittsburgh straightedge. Can't afford Festool and Woodpeckers or a SawStop table saw.
Im a pallet junkie also but lately I've been cleaning up building kids pic nic tables with a torch finish. People love em and say how do you stain it different colors like that.😂. I tell em. Cause Im JB goodburn. They'll figure it out sometime. Good to see others doing well at this. Oh another good seller I came up with, pallet coasters but a 4 x 4 inch skid is no easy build. Good luck
All of you young people cutting on the floor spent the first half of my work years doing that (or versions of it), which has severely impacted the last half. As I use tables, benches scaffolds, etc now to compensate for the respective injuries I did to myself I realize I could still be Superman if I had just followed this technique from the beginning. On another note, I enjoy watching your videos, it's rare on RUclips to find folks whose skills outweigh their tools.
Yo, your title alone is enough for me not to ever subscribe. So you don’t sell it at all, cool. Why not just title it, beautiful pallet wall hanger you could sell for a nice chunk of change?
I loved you all working so well together. I'm new to the channel so this is probably the 6th video I've seen. I am subscribed and am looking forward to see what you all have for us later I will go back and see the other videos later. Quick question... did you sand the boards?

I hate that click-bait title talking about the selling price. In the video there was no mention of price and the makers kept the item for themselves.
Where do you see a price mentioned in the title? I don’t see one. 🤔

Your title is very misleading. You never mentioned selling them much less how much you get for them.
Time stamp the "money" part from the title, please?
There's a price guide and plans in the description
As soon as I saw the needle nose pliers being used as a punch in the first 30 seconds,I was done.
Sooo, you’re not gonna say how much you sold it for? Was that comment just click bait?
Click bait trash, no sub from me
Yup. It was click bait. They lose subscribers by doing that. I thumb down videos that have misleading titles.

The piece on the left side of your Gripper push tool is supposed to be resting on
he table saw top, its there fpor additional steadiness.
Hence why it is adjustable for the thickness of the material.

I prefer PL3X if I'm not using wood glue.

Chalk line works great too. Use baby powder instead of blue chalk.
That’s debatable, baby powder is dangerous.

Love it but kind of lost with the lack of finish. I get the rough look but imagine how nice it would look jointed and run through a drum sander.
Or a epoxy top to seal and level
I’m surprised you glued that frame together. Not worried about wood movement?

Heck yeah! Thanks for being our first community suggested project! 👊
