Hi im back after dealing with this for 3 yrs ive been on a search to find a reasonable fix. If you dont want surgery. If you are dealing with this. A herbal option would be marshmallow root. This herb eliminates inflammation in the body. Take 2 capsules a day for 4 weeks. Then stop taking for a week then repeat. Once the pain is gone. You can follow up with this treatment as needed. I suggest getting the best quality of marshmallow root. Maybe go to a herbal or vitamin store. Hope this helps.
hey man for me its like discomfort not sure if its the same for you not pain ive had it checked out and everything would the marshmallow root help with this?
I discovered and a sonogram confirmed an epididymal cyst of 1.7 cm this week. Would this have been something that was growing for a time, or appeared quickly? Also, can these cysts grow and shrink over time? I sure appreciate your reply if you see this, thank you! great video!
From my own experience, I think they are triggered by vibration, because when I trim with a trimmer a few days or weeks later i feel discomfort in my testicles. I try not to make too much contact with the trimmer on my groin because of the fear of creating more cyst. I don't like to use razors because i just hate cutting myself. When I was in my early twenties I used to trim every weekend and I noticed one day I had 4 cysts but were really small. I got them checked and were not cancerous. A few years later, I developed a large cyst and I felt it pulsating and shooting sharp pains up my spine and leg. I begged the doctors to remove it and eventually after the third doctor he agreed. My pain went away completely around 2011. Now in 2024, I have developed more cysts, maybe around 5, but they are all small. Last week I trimmed with the machine and this week, I have been feeling a lot of discomfort on the left side. There is definitely something triggering these cyst. It could be an allergic reaction to food, possibly the trimmer (vibration), maybe stress. I asked all the doctors I spoke with and none of them knew what causes these cyst.
Ive had a lump "floating" near my left testicle for about a year now and i thought that it was cancer, so every time i thought about it i basically started crying. This video made me realize that it probably isnt cancer (because it stays mostly at the top of the testicle) so thanks mr doc man 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥 (im pretty young btw like under 15 im not saying my exact age tho)
26 and I’ve had mine for a year, thought it was due to bad back, bad hips. Had an ultra sound last year, came out as some vericoceles. Tenderness and feelings came back, going again next week. There is a bead like ball on my left testicle. Working on stretching helps and leaving it on gods hands till I figure it out.
Ultra sound found 6mm cyst on mine. Doc sent me a text msg to tell me. That was it. I guess she meant it wasn't anything to worry about. Hope to chase this up.
Caster oil / cbd oil applied to the area for months has helped reduce the size. Also CBD oil internally helps with pain also. Usually you can use a touch to detect them because they will usually illuminate

I've found a small lump which feels like it's an Epididymal Cyst according to my Doctor, They've booked me in to have a scan though just to make sure... fingers crossed. Just waiting for my appointment to come through.
Hi doctor! Much appreciated for this video! I also have a 4mm cyst just recently spotted on ultrasound. I was wondering, however, do you have any experience with benign or malignant epididymal *nodules*? There's scant reviews in the literature as I'd suspect they're fairly rare, and in addition to the cyst, there was a 7mm nodule spotted on the epididymal head, which made me a bit curious as to what your thoughts are. Thanks again.
I got a spot around there I’ve had it for years got it checked before they said it was a cyst now years later it hurts so now I gotta get it checked again fingers crossed 🤞

Thanks a lot for the informative video. I have a short question. I had mild testicular pain and noticed two very small lumps on both of testes, my gp got worried too and had an ultrasound. Turns out I have simple bilateral epididymal head cysts and they are accounted for the swellings. I was referred to an oncologist, urologist (by my gp, I don't know if this is the standard procedure in Ireland)regardles and this is worrying me still. Should I now at this stage have a peace of mind that I do not have anything malignant or suspicious based on the doppler ultrasound report?
Epididymal cysts are generally benign (non-cancerous) and are quite common. They are fluid-filled sacs that occur in the epididymis, a tube located at the back of the testicles that stores and carries sperm. A Doppler ultrasound is a reliable diagnostic tool that helps in differentiating between benign and potentially malignant (cancerous) masses by examining blood flow patterns. If your ultrasound results indicated that these are simple epididymal cysts, it's likely that they are benign. However, being referred to an oncologist or a urologist is not uncommon and doesn't necessarily imply something serious. It's often part of a thorough approach to ensure comprehensive care. These specialists can provide more detailed assessments and help manage any symptoms or concerns you may have. It's important to follow up with the recommended specialists for a more accurate understanding of your condition and peace of mind. They are best equipped to interpret your ultrasound results in the context of your overall health and to provide specific guidance and treatment if necessary. Remember, it's always better to be cautious and get a comprehensive evaluation when it comes to health concerns.
So I have a lump on the top of my left teste and thought it was probably a cyst, until you said that cysts were soft. This lump is most definitely not soft. I wouldn't say it's hard as a pebble but it still is hard and definitely couldn't be considered soft. Could it still be a cyst if it isn't soft. The lump itself isn't painful but after I "exam" myself to see if it's changed, it definitely gets tender and uncomfortable. I haven't gotten it checked out because the American Health Care system is just the best! (Sarcasm intended). I don't have insurance and getting it checked out without any sort of tests or scans would still set me back about a $1,000. If I had tests or scans done it would definitely put me out at th very minimum $2,000. I simply cannot afford that. So any sort info I can get that doesn't cost me a small fortune would be appreciated. Sidenote; I just "love" how the conservatives in America call nationalized Healthcare both communism and fascism. Because apparently giving everyone low cost healthcare somehow is "evil" and "violates their rights". 🤦♂️
I have the same thing, it cost me about $200 without insurance to get checked out. They said it was harmless, but here I am 2 years later and there is occasional pain
@@fucuszullanti7877 I'm at the point where if nothing changes, I'm not going to bother to get it checked out. I called up a few different places to see what it would cost and most had no idea. Most of the people I talked to said that they usually never even bother to check costs for patients because insurance deals with everything. The one place that did give me a remote estimate said it would probably be "a few hundred dollars" but that they weren't sure. I'm definitely not going to go to a place that can only estimate a cost, it'd probably be wrong anyway and a "few hundred bucks" would turn into "several hundred bucks". I'm just going to go with my normal healthcare plan which is the Rolling the Dice and Hoping for the Best plan.
Hi, Dr O'Donovan I got this about two weeks after my vasectormy. EPIDIDYMIDES: Unremarkable. this hasn't put my mind at ease, I was trying to see if it would, but I have a pea sized lump, at the top of my testicle, and it has caused pain, pain in my testicular area, my groin, abdominal pain, and my lymph node in my groin is swollen, but you said the epididymis cyst doesn't cause pain, so I'm extremely more worried now, I have felt so unwell, they did think it was epididymitis and put me on doxycycline, but no uti, no std, all come back negative, so doesn't make sense to why I'd get it, if all tests come back clear, I got a test today for alpha-fetoprotein to check, the thing I'm most worried about, is the way I feel in general, like if I have got tescular cancer, I definitely think it's spread, which is stressing me out more, the doctor felt a pea sized lump, right next too or on my epididymis, but because you said there is no pain, that is what is stressing me out the most. I do suffer anxiety, and I was hoping for another answer, but facts are facts, and if this is correct and there is no pain with a epididymis cyst or epididymitis then I'm definitely screwed.

Does any of these problems cause the scrotum to feel sticky, tacky, sweaty? I’ve been dealing with this issue for quite some time and my doctor or a urologist can’t figure this one out. thanks! I noticed when I have blue balls this cyst on the bottom of my testicle tends to get bigger and harder, then the next day gets softer and smaller. is that normal or should I visit a doctor?
I've been dealing with epididymitis for over 15 years now and it is annoyingly painful. The only three options I was given were to take some medicine to block a pain, do a nerve cord block, or to remove the testicle as they can't technically remove the epididymal cyst. :|
If you have one of these cysts does it hurt or cause tenderness after you feel it or mess with it a little? I noticed a lump hen ither day and it’s in that exact location too a little back and if you touch it and roll it in fingers it makes my testicle very very sensitive and causes a dull pain. It goes away after a day or so of not touching it again and then it’s fine but very sensitive when touched?
Yes. I wish they wud stop saying that it doesn't hurt. There are numerous men complaining of sensitivity and pain. I have had it for 3 years and the dull pain is always there. They have put me on antibiotics and pain meds thru out the course of this. None worked. I found a Dr who actually understands this condition and I am prepping for surgery after 3 years of pain. If you are in pain go get it removed. Alot of men are in pain with this and dealing with it becus doctors are saying it's goes away and no pain. I'm not saying everyone is in pain that has this. But I am saying there's more ppl in pain that aren't. Wish you all the best.

Hello sir, I have a question, I have a lump for some time that is narrow and about 1 centimeter long. It is located about 1 cm below the epididymis, it is not connected to the epididymis. It is connected to the testisle. She is quite gentle and I can easily move with it. It does not cause any pain. It only causes pain when I press on it. I thought it was a cyst, but from what I understand it is always in the epididymis, so I am interested in what it is.

Sir, can testosterone hormones decrease after epidydimal cyst removal surgery?

@@abszm8736 That's a cyst, an epididymal cyst most prolly. Don't worry!!!
My left testicle sometimes twists 180 degrees. I wonder if its still twisted because I have some discomfort. My urologist told me it doesn't happen, but I can do it on demand. Is this normal?
any update? I have the same issue
It is normal.@@calibur6664
What is a condition which causes one of the testicle to swell becomes strong and feel painful after ejaculating. Slowly after 5 to 6 hours the testicle returns to original shape. Yes there is a cyst and it is painful not to sharp but to enough to cause discomfort all thte time.
I feel sperm is blocked which ccauses the testicle to become big and slowly the epidiymal ducts send the sperm out.
What are your thoughts doctor.
The other testicle is normal and does not any pain.
@doctor odonovan - can you have a cyst on the bottom of your testicle that causes a slight dull ache when touched?
I am experiencing the same type of thing.... did you end up getting treatment or something??

Hello sir, I have a question, I have a lump for some time that is narrow and about 1 centimeter long. It is located about 1 cm below the epididymis, it is not connected to the epididymis. It is connected to the testisle. She is quite gentle and I can easily move with it. It does not cause any pain. It only causes pain when I press on it. I thought it was a cyst, but from what I understand it is always in the epididymis, so I am interested in what it is.
Go get an ultrasound boys! I had all the symptoms of testicular cancer turns out it was two small epididymal cysts…
How did it go away?
Ok
😮💨 still need to see a doc though
Extactly 😢
i have a lump on my ball that moves im not sure if it cancer or a cyst
Thank you so much for watching the video and taking time to leave a comment. Unfortunately (and I know this will be frustrating for you), I am unable to give individual medical advice out on this channel. This is because of medico-legal reasons, not knowing your full case, circumstances, and it would be unethical of me to do so otherwise. I have included the general resources I used to make this video in the description box but I have to advise that you speak to your own health provider (e.g. doctor, nurse) so that they can properly assess your case. This is the safest and most ethical advice I can give since this is just intended as a general educational resource. Thanks for understanding.
