Just quick comment. Pretty sure you said that a right varicocele should prompt you to think of a right testicular tumor. A right varicocele should prompt thinking of cause of IVC compression/obstruction, such as RCC with IVC thrombus, renal vein thrombus advancing down IVC, or anatomical venous abnormalities. The classic association with right varicocele for exams is RCC, not testicular tumors.

Remember that the left gonadal/testicular vein has its origin directly in the left renal vein. On the other hand, the right testicular vein originates in the inferior vena cava.
Therefore, LEFT varicocele is a common complication of renal cell carcinoma (because renal cell carcinoma likes to grow into the renal vein, thus blocking the gonadal vein on the left side).

I have been having pain in the spermatic tube area. My urologist said I am having intermittent torsion but I don't know. I was only in his office for 5 minutes.
was it left sided? im feeling this, hurt to walk and squeeze legs together, upon massaging i can feel like a thick vein on the leg sick deep inside near like on the rim of the leg socket
@@chrisWTG it switches sides whenever. Yes I can also but sometimes the vein shrinks.

Mine are extra sensitive and every so often i get a lil pain especially if they hit my leg wrong 😥
I had varicocele at the age of 16, made a surgery, now I have Hydrocele at the age 17 and am waiting for my upcoming surgery...Two done three to go

the differential diagnostic with light (?) for varicocele kinda makes no sense since you can see or touch the veins easily

@@mr-yy8sd Nothing in the end. Just 2 minor spermatoceles which are harmless. Thankfully.
Turns out my pain and discomfort was being caused by a seating cushion. I stopped using it and the pain disappeared.. 👍

I had grade 4/5 bilateral varicocele on Doppler in 1998 and it wasn't a dull or numb pain. The pain was intense even while sitting.. more on standing.. bag of worms were prominent but as you wear tight supporter the pain shots upwards lower abs/pelvic side and gets worsened by coughing .. got it 90% fixed thru traditional varicocele repair surgery (neither laproscopy not microscopic) back then in india. testicles were painful on movement too then.. can i call you over whatsapp for sharing & knowing more ?

@@Bigman-km4wi a whole lot better now Thankyou, the cause for my swelling which in the end put me in hospital turned out to be a nasty UTI where the bacteria went to the testicles , after lots of morphine and saline drips a very strong course of antibiotics was given…

Nothing worked for my epididymitis ; not antibiotics or anything . I had to come up with a cure myself ; two urologists could not help . I suppressed my sexuality for a month ; no sex or masturbation . I did this to not feed the microbes ( bacteria or eucaryotes ) any macronutrients ( fats , sugars or proteins ) or micronutrients ( vitamins or minerals ) . This starved them and they migrated out of my epididymitis into the bladder and then left in the urine through the urethra to pursue other nutritional sources . I am convinced that this is the only proper cure ! 😉🤪🤔🥰😇
