I should add that for Choriocarcinoma, in addition to the Hyperthyroidism, the Gynecomastia association is also caused due to bHCG subunits being very similar to FSH and LH, as well.

@@xSmithx So does this mean that alpha subunit are identical (proven) AND also their beta subunit is similar in structure? Could it be a typo in first aid??
@@xSmithx thank you for the correction! I've been using 2020 version since it has all my annotations but I just checked the latest edition and it says what you said. Apparently the alpha subunit is common to LH, FSH and TSH but beta subunit of hcg has intrinsic thyroid stimulating activity. First aid should really elaborate a bit before mentioning pedantic details that are questionably high yield. Anyway, Thanks again!
It's such a coincidence you posted this video, I just got a notification because I follow all of your videos. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer 2 weeks ago and had surgery about a week ago (Seminoma). Glad to see everything broken down so well. Thanks for sharing the video!
Missed you dirty! Good to have some new dirty mnemonics to memorize! Can you please make a video regarding the types of brain hemorrhages and how to tackle these questions on USMLE?
Good evening gentlemen of culture. We’re all here to learn. I got news this morning that my right testicle is “almost completely replaced by a heterogeneous solid mass” Interesting hearing the breakdown. Thank you for the video.
Hoping for vdeo how to test self examination of testicle..especially the epididymis which some patient mistake for lumps espcially at the top and bottom part of epididymis
