    Remember the TUBArosclerosis genes/chromosome with this numerical mneumonic:
    TSC1: (8+1) = c9
    TSC2: (8*2)= c16

    For all you can add a note, the Leptomeningeal Angioma in Sturge weber is usually ON SAME SIDE of the Port-wine stain.
    Thin of it: like if half of the face has port wine stain, this port wine stain will continue posteriorly to the same side ONTO the Leptomeninges Capillaries(inside the brain).

    Mnemonic for NF type I and Café-au-lait spots:
    If you drink too much coffee (Café-au-lait spots), you are gonna go number one (a slang for pee).

    Tuberous Sclerosis/TSC=> TS = tumor suppressor
    In case for some reason knowing that it's a tumor suppressor in particular helps out.

    The pathophysiology of SWS is wrongly said. Here the GNAQ gene mutation leads to activation of the gene and its function, as in normal embryo, GNAQ gets inactivated at 9 weeks of gestation, but remains active in mutated cells in SWS

    For NF1, I just remember the phrase, "Bumpy brown kid."
    This describes the neurofibromas, the pigmentation of the skin and the eyes, and the fact that the onset is at childhood.

    I have this disorder NF1, I had tumours in my small intestine, I had the biggest tumour in 2018 in North America, i had 7 tumours, lost about 50% of my small intestine. Tumours in my eyes and the Octave Nerve, Ringing Ears.

    Tuberous Sclerosis … pronounce it:
    Tuberous Skinerosis.. for skin sx: Ash-leaf spots, shagreen, adenoma sebaceum, ungual fibroma on the skin of your finger.
    Taking my exam in few weeks, prayers 🙏🏼

    For VHL disease , you say the gene makes ubq 1a qhich shuts the complex that degrades proteins, then wouldn’t this gene cause less protein degradation?

    Are the tram track calcifications in sturge weber due to leptomeningeal angiomas?
    If so are they on the same side or opposite side?
    First Aid says it's on the 'opposing gyri'
