this was sick to watch, #16 in the world? that’s ridiculous, you guys are so good keep grinding bro
Thanks for the support my friend!
I love watching you play these competitive matches at such high level tournaments.
Thanks man!! Glad to hear you’re enjoying it😃
I was impressed by how well you moved at net because i had assumed you were a singles specialist. You also have a very aggressive return! Many times you’re hitting the ball 2-3 steps in… especially against that kind of pace is crazy good reflexes.
Thank you!
It's nice to have a pro player share his experiences to mere mortals like us
You're top 100ATP material, easily. These guys were crazy good and you stood up to them pretty legit.
Enough respect for you just being in the company with the big boys. That makes you a big boy too ma man.
Cheers and looking forward to your higher success (and yea, more videos too! 🙂).
M
Thank you for the support 🙏👊
11:45 has to be my favorite doubles point on your channel, I rarely see cat and mouse stuff like this with 4 guys at the net
Been binge watching all of your match play recently. The quality is insane! Keep it up!!! :D
Thank you Andre!! More fun stuff comin!
Keep your head up, these guys made it to the final!!!
It's amazing the level of tennis you're playing right now, I hope you keep the grind. Lots of love and I hope I can keep enjoying your tennis
Thanks Alfonso!
What an awesome opportunity! And you guys did well. I thought you played really solid Simon. Should be proud. Can’t wait to see what’s ahead of you 😊
your channel is a hidden gem, content similar to tennis brothers but higher quality and more frequent
Thank you man! 👊
Great start, nice to watch.
I’ve played a few World #1 teams in my time, (lost) but it’s such a great experience playing the best.
Sorry, wasn't 100% sure how the premiere thingy worked and I abruptly shut down the live-chat...
@Ross Jaeger I'll certainly try to do a live vid and some Q & A's for the next premiere!
@DurpenHeimer haha, I'll try to play with the crazy net guy with green strings soon again!
Great to watch again. Your serve was a bullet. You both played great. Thanks for uploading
Wow, you served like a Boss, held several games against them!
Please share more of your matches. it is soo much fun to watch. If possible from a back view angle ( baseline )
Got one for you comin on Throwback thursday that I promise you'll enjoy!
Thanks for the inside look at these high level matches/tournaments, it really gives a better perspective for those who want to try it. Hell of a match by the way keep grinding you're doing great.
Got off to a great start but you knew those guys would settle in....Love the sound of the ball on that court, I got a hit in on it a few years ago.
Soooooo good! This is absolutely one of the best content out there atm! Keep it up 😀😀
Thank you man!! More fun videos in the works :) thanks for the support!
Really insightful and honest analysis. Good luck in your next one
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you Pete
you both put up a very good fight against the pair that wiped Kyrgios/Kokkinakis unbelievable stuff I believe in you guys just keep pushing for more wins & pancake aces ;)
Thanks for the encouragement! We keep workin, and should’ve brought out the pancake more… could’ve made the difference ;)
That first doubles match you showed was full of singles players. Ruusovouri/Sousa vs Paul/Norrie.
You're playing at an incredible level!
Thank you for sharing these videos. So great content! I immediately subscribed to your channel. Good luck in the future competitions and please share with us more!
Thanks Vlad!! That is the plan, will be a lot of fun stuff in the future 😃
Love your videos and thanks for sharing as always! Amazing tennis!
Thanks Yu!! More to come :)
Always make the shots you're supposed to. Make all 1st serves, don't give up an inch like you said. This is the first time watching and I had to figure out which one were the long-term pros and which ones the newer Pros. On your last service game man you guys were pulling it out of here to get that game.
A couple points here or there and it would have been tighter...still very cool to be in a main draw. I've always thought that the people running tennis have not advertised doubles properly. Doubles is a lot more fun to watch than singles.
Doubles needs to be watched courtview because the singles view doesn’t do it justice
Wow, what a great format!
Great playing! Was surprised you didn't rip a pancake serve though :(
Wasn’t really a good opportunity to be honest :/ Glasspool had a very good backhand return, so tried to stay away from that one. And felt like it was going well serving T
I love these type of videos ! Please continue doing this
Amazing to have an atp youtuber
Tsitsipas
@@kazimtaqi4445 nobody likes tsitsipas
Cool that you know Leo! He’s got an awesome game!
He really does, gonna be exciting to follow his progress in the future, great guy as well
@@Simon.Freund seems like it! Hopefully I meet you guys on tour soon!
great stuff, their serve and the net guy looks so big and literally on top of the net. Looks like no where to go with that big a serve and that strong on a net guy literally on top of the net
yeah... Got suffocated out there...
Great video again
Keep them coming 👍🏼
Thanks James!
Dang u played with bjorn borg’s son😱 against a team that’s probably gonna qualify for the atp finals. That’s insane
Haha thanks Luke 👊
I recently started following you and I fricking love it. Hope u get far in the tennis world. (You should collaborate with Felix from tennis brothers tho)
Thank for the support! and that would be fun, I really enjoy his content
huge
👊
Ridiculous hands on the half-volleys
Your future is bright. Keep it real out there!
Thanks for the support my friend 🙏
Lookin' sharp in the maroon kit my guy
Thanks Kevin! New fall collection from rs tennis, get yours 20% off with my code SF20 😉😂
Keep going! 👍
Good battle. You kept up.
They played very organised- obviously they play together alot right? But great experience for you guys! Keep goin 😊
Yeah, they're actually the 6th ranked doubles team in the world right now!
Ruusuvuori/Sousa vs. Norrie/Paul
Good 👀👍
Great Match!
Thanks Leo!
Keep up the work and keep grinding
Love watching your game recording! Keep up the good work! 🎉Can I have some advice on how to improve my contact point? I feel like I am hitting the ball later quite often😢
Hard for me to give to much pointers without seeing your game, but timing is a big thing. Try and look at some pros hitting and listen to their breathing. 99.9% of people time their grunt/breathing with the bounce of the ball. Try that, maybe helps with the contact point! Let me know how it goes
I bet you could beat these two giants on a single’s match. But there seems little chance playing doubles with them. No wonder they are 6th in the world. They have unbelievable touch at the net and covers three quarters of the net with their long arms. It seems not fair😊.
Yeah, they’re a tricky team to beat that’s for sure… gotta figure something out for next time, maybe all lob returns?
ruusuvuori, souza, norrie, paul
Good eye!
Looked like Cameron Norrie / Tommy Paul VS Emil Ruusuvuori and Joao Sousa (?)
Yes sir! well done
3:46 was called out but it was in lol. They're serve is really good and serve tactics.
Close call that one :/
I know all four players…but you could see their names on the scoreboard lol
I really liked how this was more than just the match footage but also included the preparation and stuff. Rock on dude.
Haha noticed that was a bit of a giveaway 😅
Thanks for the feedback William, will try and do more of those once I get back to traveling and competing! Currently at home with a minor injury, so out for 1-2 weeks :/
@@Simon.Freund bummer, get well soon! I would be curious what high level players do when they’re injured to keep themselves mentally well and what they do to help their bodies as much as possible when injured.
Like I read when James Blake was injured, he held his racket so his callouses never went away. Stuff like that
Twice in this match i thought the ball was in but the ref called it out, for instance 8:15. What do yall think?
It looks way in tbh
Ye thats what i thought aswell, it also happend a couple minutens earlier in the vid.
👏
tough one
Epic
Bra kampat, Leo B top 100 nasta ar i singel? Kul om ni bada spelar SW19 nasta ar
Might be!! He's improving a lot and really has a great game!
210kmh on the *second* *serve* ... WHAT? That's insane. Are you sure?
Cressy does 2 first serves
Yeah, was combing it! In the video he serves a “2nd” serve 215kmh!
3:47, It was out?????
bro I played some dude who was top 600in m a college match and got SHIT ON like the difference is brutal 😭😭😭😭
doubles tho seems kinda clickbait
Haha I hear you, will post more singles soon!
👍👍👍❤️
You Look a bit like fognini..especially on court lol
👊👊👊
they play so clinical its almost annoying to watch
Imagine how annoying it is to play them… 😩😂
@@Simon.Freund probably something like a wall that keeps coming at you to crush you. :p
no pancakes?
Unfortunately no :( felt like I was winning most points on the ad side when serving, and he had a much better hand hand return. So tried to stay away from that one
Sub en español o ingles please
Hard to add subtitles, maybe you can use the ones that RUclips provides I believe? Does that work?
You look and talk like Federer
Haha I’ll take that as a big complement 👊
@@Simon.Freund never said you play like him though lol
