Well played, much more competitive when Josh cuts out the double faults (well most of them), ironically Michelle looked by far the strongest WTA player he's played so far too.
@@Hanamichi6666 na. It is. Sure, it's a way to put pressure by being cocky. No 1 stands in front of a baseline unless they expect a weak serve. But standing well in front she is basically saying your serve is gonna suck and I m gonna smash. It's good banter but it's a dis.
LOL it would be so funny seeing americans react to it and understanding the difference between our tennis and theirs, seeing that they think that guy has “very high level strokes” or, according to someone, “incredible” while here in EU he would be a regular low level club player hahahah, I love seeing Josh who plays objectively well in these videos, and people judging him as a good player, but nothing that special, while americans when they see someone half as good (like Winston Du which is ass) start screaming hahahahahah
If Josh played completely serious without toying around with her, it wouldn't be even close, in my opinion. He knew before the game who would win this. No doubt.
First, the dude puts his opponent to sleep by making 1000 bounces. Then he doesn't let the ball rise and slaps it immediately to catch the opponent off guard. Great strategy.
Dodgy call from Michelle. I watched it back at 0.25 speed, and paused it on its way. It's a full ball inside the line! Guys should have shown a replay.
Dodgy call for sure, but at the same time Josh won a point serving while Michelle was clearing a rolling ball so it's not exactly the most serious match of all time.
Does club mean something different there? Like semi-pro? In the US club usually means recreational and refers to NTRP3-4.5 or UTR3-8. Josh could definitely have played some college.
No club means club, it’s that your tennis technique is really bad compared to EU lol, the players you’d judge of “very high level” or “incredible” there in the US, are just normal players here in EU, for example, your NTRP 1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5/3.0 here in Italy is NC (Not Classified), our ranks start from the equivalent of your 3.5, Winston Du would be a mid to high 4th category here which is a level even 60/70 year olds play at.
Halo Effect. An 8 in looks elevated to rarified 10 because of tennis skill, same phenomenon with Debbie Harry as Blondie. On the other hand, Diana Rigg or Agnetha Faltskog in their primes, solid 10. Please forgive political incorrectness. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
She gives away points by standing in front of the baseline on his serve. 1-2 steps back and his pretty hard serve would be a lot easier to handle. But either way he kills every body with his 1000 bounces. The floor being very loud doesn't help either.
Josh you gotta use topspin and placement on serve more often with female players because they can adapt to flat fast pace which they’re used to in the WTA. Michelle did very well to handle the power. 😂
Naw, ground strokes are what makes or breaks as a pro. His grounds strokes are not even close to male pro level. Not consistent enough. She also choked up a bit, and he got lucky on a couple of returns where he just took wild swings and it went it. He knows it.
Simply, Josh tennis skills can be very similar to a very good third series of tennis. First series are ATP Pro from 1 to 500 rank; second series from 501 rank to a lot of people that don't have never played or conquered 1 Atp point but that are very good into National tournaments. Third series are tennis club players. The strongest of them beat sometimes second series players that don't have played ATP tournaments. For beating WTA Pro Is Just necessary a very good third series tennis club player like Josh. To explain with facts my words, I remember when I was younger to have seen two italian sisters, WTA Pro, Mair sisters, ranked that time around 400th/500th training with a male italian sparring ranked 3.2 on Italian National ranking. When they played matches for training the 2 sisters coudn't win a point on a row. I remember also their italian coach telling to italian sparring "Please, hit the ball with less speed"
Would like to see more of the girls from ATT playing. They have a good level of tennis, and Michelle is humble, along with being very consistent. 100% first serves in. Wow.
It’s always impressive watching good female tennis players - even their double handed backhands are good, which I personally hate in men’s tennis. The women’s game really benefited massively from the wider beam graphite (or non wood) rackets.
Now Josh has earned his first WTA point
Spoiler alert
lächerlich 2-3 der ball rollt rein ... sehr Gentelmen von ihnen tsss zu dem das gehabe . unterirdisch
🤣🤣🤣
😂
Now that was a real WTA handshake.
If only Josh's game was as consistent as his ball bounce before the serve. 😆
Spot on! 😅
Tried to watch this but died of old age by the time he'd finished bouncing the ball 348 times.
😁

I think you have a very loose definition of "WTA player"

Good move getting Michelle back for another video! Viewership probably goes up dramatically!
Yeah she’s fine
I like Michelle. ALot.
more of Michelle pls
Josh's antics were inane, made me root for Michelle
That's the point, he's making jokes and playing lightheartedly
haha look at this idiot here guys
He’s a jerk
Inane was the perfect description - check the dictionary .
John McEnroe is somewhere watching this smiling from ear to ear
My fave comment 🤣
Michelle went to easy on him when she was up.
Joshua has just his serve as weapon and the girl the Can use the full potential. The strokes, the serve, the movement everything seems fluid
The dude is the funniest troll that I've seen in while. I loved it.
Probably the best tie break I have seen here. Thumbs up both of you
I love how she disrespects his serve by standing so close haha
it's not disrespecting I think, she tries to put pressure on him so he makes mistakes

That move cost her the game.
Awesome tiebreak! Josh has got some decent game for sure and a big serve!
Both played well and as always, loved the comedy and banter🤣👍
Glad you enjoyed!
Big serve ?! I'm 63 , serve aces at will against men younger than me ,and I'm a social player .I was rooting for her !

Love this channel and content. To be fair, Josh was banging down his serves today.

Josh's constant forced clownery makes the video so exhausting to watch. Dude, you don't have to try to be funny after every point...
It's literally the best part.
