• DIY Lawn Roller - Part 1
This is the final video of me building my lawn roller. I've wanted one of these due to the fact that I drive equipment through my grass all summer, so it gets quite bumpy. I have priced them out to a cost of around $2500 for the size that I want/need. The total investment I have in making this lawn roller myself is about $350. If you're interested in building a lawn roller for yourself rather than buying, this would be a great video for you to get some ideas from. There is also the first video where I detail how I set up the barrel. This lawn roller should weigh about 1500 lbs. or 680 kg when its full. That should be plenty to keep the bumps in my yard at bay.

You weld like I do. Gorilla welding is ugly but strong. Good work man.
All that matters is if it sticks together! Thanks for watching!
Excellent
Thanks for watching!
Apparently you have not experienced the joy of cement exploding due to extreme concentrated heat-as from a welding process. It is easy to avoid, just raise off of the floor.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ve never heard of that happening before
How did it hold up? Any action shots of it being used? anything you would change if you were to do it again? How much did you pay for the used tank...there is one by me just like it but they want $200. thx
Tank is still rocking 2 years later. I got it for free, well company’s usually give them away. And if I were to do it again I wouldn’t change a thing
can you melt anything else with your tourch
Just about anything I suppose
