One of the the cool trucks that came to our truck show is this beautiful blue Glider owned by Jay Hawthorne of C&J Trucking. We got to walk around and chat with him about this awesome rig the day before our show. What a super cool ride!!

I drove for over 45 years and am So Thankful that my 4 boys Never entertained the thought of driving rigs for there income. Dont miss it at all too much regulation now. Still love the rigs though
Every truck this man owns is very close to full show quality. Being one of his drivers just let me say, you will not be given better equipment or be treated better than working for C&J. Top notch outfit from top to bottom and ran by a true truck driver.
I’m a fleet tech for a dump truck company out in AZ and I showed my boss your wash bay set up lol
What does C&J haul? Any idea of the fuel mileage on ‘Dirty Business’ or any of his other similarly spec’d trucks?

Man you guys in the states must have some beautiful roads... We have some nice trucks here in Australia, but you couldn't realistically use something like that in a commercial application here I'd think. You'd be pretty restricted with what you could practically do with it or where you drive it on our shithouse roads.
Although having said that, there is one pretty well decked out Peterbilt operating as a fuel tanker triple road train in Western Australia's wheat belt region. It's owned and operated by Sludge, a bit of a reluctant but entertaining TV star from the "Outback Truckers" series.
I've read some articles on his rig and it seems to give him plenty of reliable service and it always looks mint and bad ass... That's a pretty hard task for any truck to undertake, in a pretty challenging environment, so it goes to show these things are put together every bit as well as the PACAAR Australia built Kenworths, which we consider a real benchmark for operating in those environments in a road train configuration.
I do wish Peterbilt would build them with the steering wheel on the correct side (yeah I said correct 🇦🇺) and sell them here... You can get them imported and converted, but it is hella expensive once you get them registered and rated. Especially if you plan to use it in road train configurations.
I've known a few people look into it and it just never makes sense as a commercial prospect.
Anyway cool rig and very impressive. It's fun to compare the way cultures and circumstances produce particular types of machines.
359’s dual round headlights would make this truck look sexier
single squares would look equally nice I think. Got a bit of a soft spot for those lol

Man it’s beautiful I work at a truck wash as my first job I’m 16 and it looks amazing but I hate cleaning those because it’s a lot of chrome to brush and we have to brush those trailers to and brushing a lot of work but beautiful truck👍🏻
