This truck & trailer combo is absolutely amazing! The trailer was built by 5150 trailers out of Tennessee to match perfectly with this custom Peterbilt 389 we completed for Timmie Cameron last year.

I'm European, car fan, and I've mostly had to deal with Nordic truckers, but this is genuinely one of the coolest rigs I've seen. Amazing setup, love the blacked out wheels and grey/black color on the truck and the trailer. Tool setup is sick as well. Fantastic job to both you and 5150 trailers.

The 3" ball this just recently came out are rated at 45 - 50 k . That the same as most 5 th wheels ( excluding some heavy hauls - like the "Holland " FW -55's

I’ve always wondered why more guys don’t run the 0 offset. Looks so much better.
@adventure-overland mostly cost if a 315 tire vs a 11r and also makes truck wonder a little bit on bad roads cause most those trucks have single steering box. But for guys that run the offset rims on a 18k front, it's pretty ugly looking

I have to admit, this truck is sexy! I remember when o first saw this truck of FB, but without the trailer! It was a few things with the black accents that I felt could have been the other way around, but it wasn't enough to ruin the truck, so it was still sexy to me! It has zero chrome, and that's my favorite part. I mean, it's a nice build! I would love to have seen under the hood, though! I actually wouldn't mind experiencing hauling a race trailer!

Sucks you gotta worry about length my farm ranch trucks don’t have to worry about any of that I run a stretched 389 Peter built with three 40 foot flatbeds to haul hay. I am 100% illegal but just put a long load flag on the front and back with flashers on no one bugs me haha.
Just a trifle fear of heights makes me wonder if you get a bit yancy when backing a car out at night and know when to stop before backing off of the lift gate?? I have fallen so many times, once out of a loft in a barn where I fell almost thirty feet and landed in cow dung. That "Dung" saved me from breaking many bones or worse. After a while taking chances just ain't a going to happen that easy. Worse cases tho, still will walk a two by four across a separation that is off of the ground a good way and have to walk say ten or more steps. I am seventy four and crippled. For me to just get around at all is a challenge but living in central alaska has many challenges... ice and wind are my toughest.

sick setup, but why are most race trailers setup as goosenecks ? to be able to run it with a pick up? or just a preference?
Better articulation, he does a lot of off-road racing so the pits are usually not smooth paved areas
Definitely better articulating than a 5th wheel . If you've ever pull a bull wagon across a pasture road the snapping and popping it makes is very unnerving especially with 85 live critters back there .
Also will allow truck and trailer way more vertical offset over holes and lumps which on a standard fifth wheel can often lift drives right off contact, don't ask me how I know😢
