A panic blood moon occurs when the devices RAM is overloaded, and you aren't in any dungeons, cutscenes, etc. It happens much more often on a Wii U emulator (with mods) because it limits the amount of RAM that can be used to 2GB. On the Cemu emulator with the Relics of the past mod (guardians everywhere, gold bocos with ancient arrows in the Great Plateau, hardest botw mod, etc) Hyrule castle simply can't run on 2GB of RAM, so you need to go into the Cemu graphic packs and let it use another 2GB, which fixes the issues. On Switch, it probably happened because you loaded multiple new enemy camps, overloading the RAM and causing the game to do a panic blood moon to prevent a crash.
I emulate this game, and sometimes this happen every night like.. huh..? i mean i'm grinding lynel and guardians for parts.. so that kinda helpful i guess?
It happens when there is something wrong in the game and the game tries to prevent a crash. Since you're emulating your game is probably about to crash a lot. Or it could just be a problem with the emulator's timer.
Pretty sure that’s what happen with the blights I mean we thought the blight cannons once calamity Gannon was a weekend so I could assume he was at his full power since he just broke free and that’s what a whole blood moon is, Ganon at his full power. So no. Windblight was not as easy as I thought it would be *It was also night and us Rito have terrible night vision*
When the game is about to crash. Blood Moons reset everything so when the game thinks it's about to crash either from not loading something properly or using 90% of the switch Ram, it triggers a panic blood moon.
It either loaded something in wrong or 90% of my switch’s RAM was being used and it needed to refresh. Blood moons arent just a cutscene and an event. Its a technical thing needed to keep the game from crashing. And sometimes the game needs to force an emergency one. Thats what you see here
@@ValXB70 it mainly happens while modding the game on wii u (which is the version i have lol) but i actually never seen it happen on switch until i found your video.. interesting...
@@Imora this happened to me on Switch a few times. Once, it was after beating a Lynel for the first time, I collect its loot, then bam... It was only like noon too.
Seems the algorithm is promoting this. Interesting
The algorithm must know the fear that comes with a blood moon and wants to remind everyone of it
cool thing about panic blood moons, they can't happen if you're not on the ground
however they will start once you hit the ground again
Does that mean the game crashes if you use moon jump to prevent it
@@l_alphy moon jump permanently activates the grounded state for link I think the blood moon would still trigger
@@l_alphy should probably still happen
@@l_alphy you have to be on the ground for 3 secods, just keep jumping

We need to find a way to consistently trigger these

@@AshenDemon Could be RAM-related too
Yeah @@DeskoDev you could be not giving it enough ram...
I’ve had a panic blood moon before in the Akkala Stable

Sorry I couldn't save you Revali, no one could have known the blights were that strong and cunning so don't beat yourself up over it.
